Hi Andy, First of all I like that print. I could check it with the experiment I am doing :)). I would like to shoot some infra red film. The Rollei 4x5 is not available at this moment in Europe. I have shot a lot with my full spectrum converted Fujifilm XT2. Still working on that book.
Woah, I'd like that print (only a new subscriber with this account i swear i have followed you for ages now!) Also darn wish we could buy this film new...
And I totally agree with you! Out of all the films that have been discontinued over the years, this one hurt the most. I do use Rollei IR a lot, but it doesn't compare to HIE.
I would like a print, please. It’s a lovely one, Andrew. I got lately 2 and a half! boxes of 1991 expired in 4x5 and cutting some for Mamiya Press 6x9 cut sheet holder. I also got an opened box of 12 and it has a very heavy, uneven fog but adding 3ml of 10% KBr in 600ml of Xtol seems to clear nicely. However I need to up exposure a bit. That was tangential, sorry. Thoroughly enjoying your infrared playlist. Best, Pawel
No, it's film from a fresh box I shot way back in about 1999, in Japan (which I believe I said in the video). I was comparing base + fog between the two generations of HIE. They are very different, physically. The '67 stuff is on a much thicker base, with a thicker emulsion.
@@peinmilan Not always. Kodak has changed their notch codes whenever they come out with a new version, just like they did with TMY. TMY-2 has a different notch code than original version.
I'd like that print! ❤
