Innovative technical demand, surprising and creative visuals, colorful musical sound, thrilling precision, and a vibe like they own the place...wow. Complain about the 'Devils all you want, but this drummer can easily see why they're still the drumline that sets the tone for DCI.
Thanks man. I've learned to ready music at fast tempos through this. I might not be able to count it outloud but i can sure as hell count it in my head but looking at the rudiments or sticking.
@thsma2009 yea. it's one of those tempo changes that a drumline can really fall apart on. It's not easy to have the same tempo in your mind constantly changing.
I'm hoping for Coats because i was introduced to them back in like 2008. Saw my first show in 2010. And i'm in Wadsworth Ohio which isn't too far from Canton and i almost marched WGI at age 16 which was last year. For Norterdame. Uhhh one of SCV 2004 snares teaches there and he is friends with my drumline/personal teacher. I might do it this year and my senior year. Hoping to do coats, phatom or this guys at least..
just because he marched somewhere doesn't mean anything. One he asked me if either i'm dating that person, no. Sum and i were just having a conversation on where and who to march with and expirience we have. Clearly i'm dating this person.
I'm 17, even though my profile says like 30, i don't care much for the age on this site. And at the time i was dating a girl i loved since the day i met her. I was asked to be fourth snare since Johnny Mac saw me match a bluecoats video, with visuals. Wanted me to march for him in Nortre dame. I want to march dci once i've learned to how to do wgi drill and when i get more experience to music and perfomancing. Around age 19 or 20. Do atleast 1-3 years of corp if not. Maybe just one year.

Kevin is my instructor.
He is not in this video
Is he talking about the guy who is next to the center for 2011? Left of the center for 2011?

Yeah i know. he said his stance and technique annoys him so i got mad. And its not that hard to use thumb on flam 5's and cheeses.
Yeah the 2011 center's left.

Hi-moms are so cool when done in this manner
The ghosting at 1:14 is freakin nasty!
0:21 GAAWD DAMN!
Well yeah you expect a SCV player to make BD. That guy is pretty good too. Not gonna lie. He can use thumb on like flam 5's and cheesys.

there book is so spaztick, cant watch for too long, no flow to it
ewww those pearls sound terrible. but other than that this was awsome
gaaaaaaaadayum
only good part was the opening bass lick.
the guy 2 to the right of the center, is pissing me off. for some reason his stance, and his playing style annoy me.
I have a really good version of them playing Ditty. Check it out!!!
@Motowndrummer thats BD in a nutshell my friend. A lot of freckin notes with no real flow
