I went fishing at a new canal today and there’s a couple people fishing there. Me and this guy started talking and your channel came up I was like I’m fishing this canal because of pig patrol because it reminds me of the way he fishes. We caught a couple of walleye.

I fish around that boat dock year round from the bank. You can get whites,wipers, small mouth, flathead, crappie and walleye all day long and that spillway is AMAZING. The small pond to the north of that parking lot gets stocked with rainbows. The larger lake 30 mins to the north has a phenomenal spillway and crappie fishing as well. Always good to see you in ks

@@lanecalaway6733 I hate the old mentality of keeping spots secret, there's too many people out there that miss out on how amazing fishing is, just because no one will teach them for free. I 100% get why people with thousands of views need to censor that kind of info in their videos (lake names, landmarks etc.). But if just one person is able to add my fishing spot to their rotation because they have caught a lot of great fish and made a good memory, then I'm content.
@@stevewheeler8532 I am going on a charter tomorrow to get my buddy a new pb largemouth. I got him back into fishing a couple of years ago. I taught him everything I know. When I caught a 9lber, I took him to that pond and taught him the bait I used. I'm the same as you. It's not as fun if I can't share it with people.

Great video bud. I had a similar day on the water snow 8 years ago only it was my buddy's boat. From the back I caught 4 perch over 14" and 1 over 15". After the second one he was visually and a little bit audibly showing his frustrations. At the end of the day he never caught a fish over 12"! He was PISSED! We talk and laugh about it now, at the end of that day I wanted to rub it in... but he was WAAAAY too irate.

Don't get me wrong the fishing down here is out of this world but don't have the types of fish you guy's have up there!! Be careful with that. I’m a retired LEO and if you tie one on the night before until say 2:00 am, you are likely still legally impaired until as late as noon, 1:00 pm. I wrote many impairs up the morning after the party vs the night of. You would be surprised. Breakfast, sleep, nothing really changes the rate at which you metabolize that booze out of your system. Just a friendly reminder. I’m retired now & don’t much otherwise care. Impaired operation of a vessel (boat) has the same consequences as driving a motor vehicle in most jurisdictions & all of Canada.
Don’t drive impaired though, please.
We were just hungover bud. Not half in the bag. People get hungover and still function the next day. If we were still half drunk, we would have been sleeping, not fishing.
@@KansasAnglingExperience - You say that. I’m trying to be nice and warn you, not be a dick. Hangover generally is a sign you are still drunk and feeling the effects, you just don’t know it because you aren’t as drunk as you were the night before. That or a bit of alcohol poisoning,,, I have been hungover and seriously hungover. Get a cop buddy to teach you, or if you get some cops onboard, ask them what time of day DUIs are handed out, morning afternoon or night. Statistically it’s mornings, (after 6:00 am) .
Don’t listen, don’t care. If someone were to put a roadside devise on you and you blew I guarantee it would be a warn. Arguing with me on this is like me coming to tell you how to catch stripers. I’ve never even seen or held one. Just on videos like this,
Regardless, I’m subscribed to PigPatrol. I like the guy. Changes nothing, before I was a cop I did what you guys did here dozens of times myself. It is part of learning & growing up. Just think though, if you are taking paying clients out on the water,,,, shut it down early the night before and don’t go hard on it.
I had to charge a driver at noon one time. He & his buddy drank seriously the night before, packed it in around midnight after the hotel threatened to throw them out. They got up, had breakfast around 10:00 am and I stopped them for erratic driving around 11:30 am. At noon he was in handcuffs and the tow truck was coming for his vehicle. His buddy couldn’t drive as he was still drunk as well. Both bigger guys around 6 ft and muscular.
