Having tried these, I have to say your assessments of these, both individually & collectively, are completely spot on and accurate. You are the eyeshadow expert, for sure!!!
What a fun video! So, I had found these at Bed Bath & Beyond and purchased Truffles (after seeing the lovely pro MUA Carolyn Barnes' delightful video featuring two looks -- one on each eye with this little palette), because I was looking for something tiny & excellent to have in my purse for touch-ups while at work. I also picked up Rose Water because the shades were pretty. The foiled shades in Rose Water are actually chunky and have a lot of fallout; although that dusty mauve-y matte shade is so lovely it alone might be worth the $3. Truffles was very good and the black is outstanding, but I really thought both palettes needed a base shade like WnW Brulee and a more neutral blending shade. In the end, they weren't the standalone travel palettes I was looking for, and I just don't need $3 dupes of shades I already own in other palettes, even if they are of decent quality.
Depending on our skintone some shades may not work and we would hope and need to pull from other palettes or singles. Unfortunately these mini palettes aren’t made for all and that’s ok. Maybe they can work as a companion palette for you
@@AlejandraLisette Yes, I totally agree! They probably work for most other people, and it's okay that they weren't exactly what I was looking for. I still think lots of people will adore them. I forgot to mention I'm just trying to be strict with myself on what new makeup I bring into my stash because I want to break myself of the habit of buying eyeshadows that I never use and end up trying to give away to my friends and relatives or just throwing away.
These little palettes are cute and such a great price! If I was in the market for eyeshadow, what stood out to me is Cream and Sugar, Pumpkin Pie, Rosewater and Berry Bad. Can’t wait to see how these are when you try them out!
@@AlejandraLisette I first bought the Rubies palette and the mattes have quite a bit of kickback but they are so pigmented same as Emeralds. I also got their eye primer on a whim and it's great, not overly drying like the wet n wild one but not sticky either and holds up on my oily eyelids.
Great info Alex! A few of these neutral ones are definitely peaking my interest! I’ll keep an eye out for your thought after you use them on your eyes!
I've been wanting that Rosewater one but it's been constantly sold out on the UK website since they launched so I haven't grabbed it yet, hopefully it'll be restocked once all this stuff is over 🤞🏻
That’s so kind. I have never been interested int them since I know some of those shadows may be hits and misses. I would rather have the quads that take up less space and chances of me skipping shades are slim if that makes sense
Alejandra Lisette Yes, I see what you mean. I feel like they improved their quality in comparison to the past, and these quads are fun. They remind me of those stick packets of wrigley’s gum that they sell 25 cents because of the compact size.
I've been ruminating over these palettes for months for really no reason because they're so affordable lol Edit after watching: the dark shades do look a little patchy requiring more work to blend
Pretty lady, i have the acai - blue & the cream & sugar. The cream & sugar is lovely - the blue is very nice even though it's not as intense as other blues i have. Which works for me bc i can wear the acai to the office too with the cream & sugar. Thanks for party. Hope you & yours are all well. p

Aww thank you. I’ve been playing with them the last few days. Will come back to update everyone how they wore on the eyes 😊

Great swatches love how this was done honestly. I know swatches don’t look the same as the eyes but gives the color or shade idea.
Thank you. I did my best 😊

You picked the ones I would have gone for as well if only choosing the best.
I have Berry Bad and Truffles. I wanted Hot Jalapeno but for $2 more I got the Profusion 10 pan Emeralds palette instead and it's great!
I have only owned one profusion palette and I wasn’t a fan. I have been told they have gotten better so maybe I’ll look into them again.

I love the size of them!

Thank you!! I hope to be able to use them all this week. One I used today 😊

I hope so too!! I like how different it is from every other one
I was kindly gifted the earth and ocean elf palette and I do enjoy it! I’m good with my earth and ocean palette so I don’t feel like I need these. 🙂

I have Jalapeño and Berry Bad. I def want a few more!
They are good for the price. Some crumbly vs others but still good

I don’t expect a lot from a quad that is only $3. I’ll test them out to really see if they are patching and hard to work with on the eyes. 😊

That’s what I call my oldest, pretty lady 💖 you are right about the blues.
these are pretty mediocre in quality in my opinion (i have 3 of them) but for $3 i cant complain too much :)
You are right. So far I have used 3 of them and have very detailed observations of them. I’ll update everyone soon
