Comparing Old Seed vs New Seed, What Germinated? / Seed Starting Update!

About 12 days ago I planted most of our vegetable garden seeds. Seeds like peppers, tomatoes, and tomatillos all were planted and put under lights to grow. I also planted a few of our herb seeds like oregano and basil. Some of the seed i planted was from several years ago, I just hate wasting seeds! Some of the seed was freshly purchased this year. In this video I talk about what seeds performed better. It's pretty obvious whether the old or new seeds would do better but to what extent and how long are the old seeds viable for?
