Honestly, I think this deck can reach Diamond 1 this season, if Diamond ladder consists of so many Ishizu Tearlaments (maybe there can be a little adjustment). This deck is very f2p, since most UR and SR are staples that can be played in many decks as well.
For my Blue-Eyes deck(s) post new Tear pack, I'm gonna need some more time to test few cards, so stay tuned.

I gave up with playing Pacifis deck after they limited prosperity but this gives me hope. Also, we now have a replacement searcher for Megalo which is Fish Sonar (SR) , (because fossil dig is (UR).
True, Fish Sonar can be better than Unexpected Dai and Lv4 gagagigo monster. I just played them in the deck to make the deck cheaper, because essentially they are the same (to get 1 level 4 water to the field and trigger the Field spell). Still, if you have that card/excess SR cp, you can play that card instead.
Also, the good news for this deck is, these floodgates are very strong against ishizu tear, while no side effects to the deck, making the deck very strong lol.

@@Kineceleren 3 fish sonar to replace 1 dai and 2 gaga may be the most optimal, but just replacing 1 dai with 1 fish sonar is enough for now. FIsh sonar can thin the deck before playing pot, so it has its own advantage. However, too many fish sonar and/or level 4 water monsters on hand results on the same, so the difference may not be much.

Kinda 200 IQ, smart negate there effects, make them attack, pop there cards, have some form of defense for extra stuff.... and boom decks destroyed, nothing but tear in ladder and l was bronze..... lol
It's actually really smart, Tear cannot activate Infinite Impermanence to negate any floodgates since this deck does not use summon effect monsters.
The best counter is to not play them so they don't get to play with the cards they spent their gems, SR & UR on therefore killing their enjoyment

Great Anti- tear idea! I love Kaijus so might try a build like this with Kaijus as well!
Lava Golem goes pretty good with this deck, the burn effect of the golem triggers the field spell so you have a guaranteed token and search besides breking the board and you lock them into fire attribute if you flip a Gozen Match

Phantasms were always a fun budget deck
used to run it for every festival back when i couldn’t make any decks. watching them destroy their own monster because of sea stealth was always fun.

I am actually playing Umi Control Deck since I found it very fun and interesting to play. Tearlaments is very annoying but Dimension Fissure shut that deck down. I am playing that Phantasm Field Spell on my UMI Deck.

**the rest extra deck cards depends on you but I suggest monsters that can be special summoned by waking the dragons to caught your opponent off guard. I just don't have enough UR points to craft those cards for now.
I am also trying to play just 1 Tearlaments Reinoheart and 1 Tearlaments Havnis to add 1 Fusion Summon Tearlaments Kaleido Heart on the extra deck. These cards will actually work well with UMI deck since the two monster cards are water attributes. You just have to remove the dimension fissure on your deck and replace General Wayne of Ice Barrier with Tear Reinoheart. I enjoyed playing this deck because the set up is very simple without doing much. Top Tier Decks that rely so much on special summon to set up is easily shut down especially if you start the turn.
I just downloaded this game around a month ago and I am playing at Platinum 2 with my imperfect UMI Deck for now and I am still really enjoying it. I'm really happy that I found a fellow UMI control player. 😁
I’ve been playing the spell card heat wave in my Pacifis deck. I’d say it works pretty well.

Tried your list in a couple of games, it locks down Tears easily going first, but struggles a little going second if your oponent opened well

I think Sea Stealth at 3 is a must, the second most important card in this deck after the field spell and with so many millers in this meta sometimes the opponent is the one that helps you search the field spell by sending it to the GY, I won a game that way today, opponent just had to go to battle and I was toast but decided to keep summoning and milling and he sent Pacifis to my GY with his Ishizu stuff and everything crumbled for him from then on.
You have a good point. I may try that after trying some other decks I had planned to play.

Yeah, tears are really susceptible to all sorts of different counters lol. There are a bunch of cheap deck possibilities that utterly tie tears up in knots
And apparently, Yosenju Kaiju is one of them. If their end board is a single Rulkalod and backrows, tribute their Rulkalos for Kaiju and all of their trap can't activate
@@lasoren Yeah, the one I'm playing atm is kaijus with a ton of negate cards and it doesn't always win, but it always gets to double digit turns and always ALWAYS makes tear players pull their hair out lol!

To be honest this deck is alot of fun and the concept of a normal monster focused control deck is super cool to me, but I wish the deck was buffed somehow. It's not really special against anything other than tearlaments, and it kind of melts going second I noticed. Normal monsters are very weak already do some kind of concept like this is cool to introduce them into the meta again.
Maybe one day, Konami will support normal monsters to compete better.
I also upgraded this deck in my cheapest Diamond 1 deck, to go 2nd better and fares better against other decks.

fucking over tears is the funniest shit ever tbh. you can feel their rage. personally been using subterrors, it fucks so hard and i can feel their anger when i flip their fusion facedown then spin it and also necrovalley/d-shifter/soul drain/time-space trap hole (btw time-space trap hole is king shit against tears, definitely recommend recommending it as a budget anti-tears trap)

Gravity collapse is semi-viable depending on your deck. Unlike other tear tech it also stops pretty much all other decks

Tried building this deck, then ran it through the ranked battles. Sure enough, first player I faced was using the Ishizu/Tear deck, and he did not even bother placing cards.
Second one was a bit of a doozy as he played Dinomorphia with a side of Z-Arc. Lost that one due to lack of pots.
Third one, another Ishizu/Tear player who had a backbone to fight (bcoz he was going first.) Bozo started milling my deck til I got to about half; what he didn't realize was he milled 2 copies of Lost Wind (which GY effect is similar to the UCD trap card from the Blue-Eues archetype.) Guy ended his setup on Rukalos, Kitkalos and a diviner, with two TearScream spells active. On my turn, spammed both Lost Winds on the Tear fusion monsters, dropped the Megalo, which prompted him to trigger the Scream Mill, and sending Kelbek to GY. Triggered Havnis and Merill to summon Dragostapelia and another Kitkalos.
My response: set Macro, Gozen, Soul Drain, and Sea Stealth, and attacked the Diviner. Then passed. On his turn, when he fired u Kitkalos, cue this chain: Gozen>(his) MaxxC>Macro>(his) Rukalos>SoulDrain>SeaStealth in that EXACT order. Pacifis gets set, Rukalos gets negged, every one of his monsters (save for Rukalos) gets yeeted away, Rukalos yeeted for Reinoheart. Then Scream>Reino chain, which I respond by yeeting Megalosmasher. Pacifis triggers, and summons a token (second effect gets ashed for some reason,) then he sets a face-down monster in def and ends.
Draw Phase gets my Megalo back on the field, then he scoops.

The weak point of tears is the gy! Take away there grave ( even for one turn) and you weaken them. Additional use skill drain and the UR ( which most pure runnick decks use) the permanent trap which only allows only one monster of each type on the field ( i forgot the name). And you can stop them

I always have this deck ready for meta, but it gets bricked too often. So i added the kairyu-shin for the search. It Works for me, also i got the umi Lock for other decks that may appear.
The dark magician deck does pretty well if you can go first🤣🤣 piercing the darkness has saved me SO MAMY TIMES!

Fish Sonar is the best ROTA for your Megalosmasher X. You can cut the other 2 additional vanillas and Unexpected Dai for it.
True, both the vanilla and Dai are the more f2p options, since they are free (vanilla is low rarity and Dai is from starter pack)

yes, you can. Just remember you can only use each effect of titanocider once per turn, while there is no limit of activation for lost wind. Overall, I think lost wind is better, but you can try titanocider.

what can i use if i have no pots? Is there a way to incorporate some of the cards that i have like branded fusions, or dark magician? Im thinking of adding super poly x2 for the chance to fuse in case i dont draw fissure. I also bought all the special packs that come with promo staples like nibiru, ash etc. So any tips appreciated! Lastly what do you think of Chaos Trap Hole? Seems like a good card i can use if i have no pots for now.

if u draw fissure and then u draw branded fusion or DM cards then those cards will be bricks. U need to draw more floodgates into ur already stablished floodgates so that if the enemy destroys/bounces one of ur floodgates u have another one to replace it immediately, otherwise you'll auto die. Ppl complain about this deck and say its bad cause they dont embrace the true nature of it which is just floodgate rain + sea stealth attack powered megalosmasher/token beatdown. Sure u could include strong extra deck monsters and throw in an engine but that would just make ur turn 1 floodgate board weaker which is the main advantage of this deck. Also super poly would be cool but imo if u start second the preferred board-clearing options would be more floodgates like there can be only one/evenly / gozen since u dont have to discard to activate those and i think one of this deck weaknesses is that u cant draw that many cards so every single one of them counts
The cards I played are well played alongside Phantasm Spiral actually, rather than branded/dark magician. Fissure is a portion of the deck's strength on the first duel, only to show how that card works against Tear. Watch the rest of the vids and see the deck is phantasm spiral

ishizu tear isnt really scared of maxx c. and evenly matched can brick you, since you play lots of face up spells/traps. but, you can try it yourself to see how it goes.

Yes, ladders are mainly Ishizu tear or other decks built to directly counter it. If your deck is in the middle of this crossfire, you wont have fun (I know, because my Blue-Eyes suffers greatly haha)

this deck is insane. I am a low ranked duelist who enjoy dueling with my waifu against variety of deck, but when tearlaments come, every single duel are vs tearlaments. But, the last 10 game i played with your deck, none of them are tearlament, idk wtf is going on

no hate but only 1 replay going second tells a lot about the deck, you really rely on coin toss streaks to break through to the higher rank. This strategy works for climbing but i guarantee you it wont be fun.

maybe, URs like dimension shifter/solems cards may be good, but needs more testing for ratios.
All they have to do is bring some card to destory your trap and spell cards
sea stealth attack can protect my cards, and also if you see ishizu tear decklist, they hardly play any backrow removal. at most they only play 1 tearlaments heartbeat. so, opening 2 strong floodgates win you games already.

4th duel (and the longest one) 02:58 vs Ishizu Tear (Go 2nd), shows how to deal with that problem. Literally went second and didnt open dimensional fissure, but still won the game.
Why not try tenyi counter trap since you don’t run effect monsters?
I didnt think a single negate is enough against lots of GY effect. That card is good tho as an alternative.

Eeeeh......this deck will lose hard if you dont draw into the fissure/cosomos. Gold/plat at best, plus its not like every person will be playing tearlaments. Plus with tear being a thing and all, how are you going to counter the stronger anti-tear decks with this?
The 4th duel literally didnt even have either macro cosmos/D fissure while going second, yet still managed to win against Tear. My diamond match had a lot of Ishizu Tear tbh.
