I’d drill a hole through a inch long key stock. #21 drill .159 dia. Which is a drill guide. Clamp key drill guide in key way Drill and tap the broken key And slide hammer it out. Do you ever braze flywheel crank shaft Hole and rebore flywheel?
If it was up to me I’d take it to you because I know you know how to get it out. Or I’d watch your next video then I’d know how but since you asked I’d probably weld something to it and let the heat help the penetrate work it’s way in and use a punch and hammer it out.
I remember you explaining that gib key puller many years ago, I can't remember if you pulled a gibless gib key or not. Drill it out, drill and thread it, lots o' heat, blastin' powder, a Siemens sky hook??? I don't know, but you'll get it out.
I'd first give the flywheel a bit of a touch up with a blow torch and give it a few taps toward the rod journal to try and loosen the taper grip of the gib key. Then try to lift the key with a small screwdriver and vise grips.
that engine can crush rocks mr sam.

,,, let's get this one out the easy way
Maybe an old tire would work instead of a box just saying love your videos!
Drill and tap it, thread in a piece of threaded rod and use a slide hammer to pull it out.
I was going to say call in 20 men with pick and shovel... But I like your idea better. 👍
seems like all that drilling and tapping is a lot of work,,, let's get it out the easy way
can you define how to fix cracks on the engine?
A little threaded rod and a mig welder.
Thanks
I would leave that key in there why do you have to take it apart? Thanks for show
,,, if you don't replace it, you will always have an engine with a broken off gib key

I think you’ve been freebasing the rust remover.
We choose to do these things not because they are easy but because they are hard. JFK
,,, well, I did take the easy way on this task
@@shopdogsam well you made it look easy.
Far out...
You take longer to do a simple job than 3 man combined!
,,,, and ,,, most of the time I am redoing what them 3 men did not take the time to do the job correct, just saying
