Honestly one of my my all-time favorite Marvel movies easily. Guardians of The Galaxy was such a breath of fresh air, very creative and original, funny, emotional, well cast, great plot, amazing characters absolutely top notch music. Brilliant film.
Regarding the second post credits scene, Howard the Duck is an infamous character in Marvel history because in 1980s his film was one of the company’s first attempts at theatrical films for its characters and the film was horrendously bad and is considered one of the worst of all time. So his appearance in the MCU could be taken as a shout out to the Lowest point in Marvel’s history and an indication of how far their films have come
Howaed the Duck was supposed to be an animated film, but George Lucas (yes, that George Lucas) owed the studio a live action film and the original satire and absurdism of the original script was lost in translation.
@@TheRubberDuck77 Well, Howard is a movie you have to be in the right frame of mind for. It's...strange and you just have to let the movie be what it is instead of trying to force it to fit into some predetermined mold. If you just relax and embrace the absurdity, it's awesome. If you can't (and a lot of people can't) it all falls flat.
Ya, I heard how bad the Howard the Duck movie was so never seen it. I tried watching it about 4 years ago (knowing it was going to b bad), but I don't think I made it past about 35 mins... I DO find his appearance in the end credits... suggesting to me that Howard was one of the 'things' that were collected and entrapped by the Collector until the explosion freed him
What amazes me about these Guardians films is that a lot of the time they’re laugh out loud hilarious, but when they get serious they really get serious and we end up witnessing some of the darkest and most mature content in the MCU.
Fun fact: the woman who played Quill's mom, Meredith, also played in the first Captain America movie, which she played a fan that wanted Steve's autograph during the stage play scene. James Gunn confirmed that her character is the mother of Meredith & the grandmother of Quill as well.
When I went through the MCU movies for the first time, I had no clue about this movie. Heard it was a great movie, but I kept thinking... no Avengers in it. Now it is one of my favorites. I have more comments regarding certain characters, but they risk spoilers too much. The music as stated in tons of reviews is so fun and great soundtrack.
Supposedly James Gunn pitched this to the MCU counsel deal that had with Feige and Joss Whedon and others. Joss said that when he heard about this pitch he thought it was gonna be horrible and would never work on screen, but apparently Gunn sold it and he said he was shocked at how good it was. James Gunn has knack for making some really weird things actually work.
That 'cool ship' is called The Milano, after Alyssa Milano, a crush of Peter's when he was a kid on Earth lol. The Power stone confers upon its wielder nigh invulnerability, exponentially superpowered strength, and the ability to fire pure energy blasts. This is why no normal being can just hold it, it's far too volatile. Groot's species' vocal cords harden over time as they grow older, so that the only words they can speak are "I am Groot", but those who have been with them a while can pick up on the subtle inflections used to determine what they're ACTUALLY saying. Also, Denarian Garthan Saal is known in the comics as Supernova, who contains the power of the entire Nova Corps within him. He flips between being a good and a bad guy, and I'm interested to see if they bring him back for new stuff in the MCU. Howard the Duck is another oooooold Marvel property, there was a film in the 80's about him that you should check out lol
The orbs doesn't tell them where the infinity stones are. The collector was just explaining how many stones are there and how they came to be. The orb contained that infinite stone as it cannot be touch by bare hands, that why its contained in the ord. Only some really powerful being can hold this infinity stone (not all the 6 six stones are deadly when held) without dying.
Fun facts: Vin Deisel voiced Groot in all language versions of the film. The dog at the end supposed to be based on Laika the dog sent into space in the 50s. He's called Cosmo the Space Dog in Marvel Comics. The duck is Howard the Duck a comic character. He also had a movie from way back...don't watch it.
@@TearDownGenesis It really isn't AS bad as everyone says. If you've ever heard what legendary film critic Joe Bob Briggs says about Howard The Duck, I actually agree with him on it. It's a really fun movie if you know what you're getting into and don't compare it to a masterpeice of film or even expect one with a title called "Howard The Duck".
The Collector is an Elder of the Universe. Elders are generally an entity that has a strong drive in some field or pastime (for example collecting) and outlives the rest of their race, thereby being the last of their kind. We have seen 2 and half Elders in the MCU films (one is described as a Celestial, even though he is usually described in the comics as an Elder...but he is a special case).
When Gamora confuses you with her Kevin Bacon reference it's from when Peter introduced her to his music & 'Well, on my planet, we have a legend about people like you. It's called Footloose. And in it, a great hero, named Kevin Bacon, teaches an entire city full of people with sticks up their butts that, dancing, well, is the greatest thing there is.' Not only watched it a lot of times, looked up the quote.
It's too bad they couldn't get Kevin Bacon to appear in one of the Marvel films, (although he was in X-Men first Class so maybe he figured that he served his time in a comic book movie and and doesn't want to do anymore!)
As a character, Groot will go grow on you too. Is final speech about family and togetherness is both enlightening and captivating. It feels like a giant warm hug.
That was Howard the Duck at the end (voiced by Seth Green) Howard is one of the stranger Marvel characters, and had his own very under appreciated movie, back around 1980 or so.
1986 actually. Produced by George Lucas and Lucasfilm no less. Even though it was released through Universal Pictures, it's interesting that since Disney bought Lucusfilm, Howard the Duck informally came back to Marvel.
I didn't look into the name , but Nowhere is the head of a being called a Celestial. These things are HUGE as you can see; and I think Nowhere may actually be one of the smaller ones. I think it's in the Guardians Vol 2 that we get a deeper explanation and they feature in eternals, but THIS head I don't know anything about it. It's just HUGE and likely the size of the alien ship in the first Independence Day. It looks that big anyway.
The Collector isn't evil. He's amoral. He just does what he wants. He's an ancient being (like some others I don't want to spoil) that simply decided to have the most unique collection in the universe. That's an oversimplification, but it's him in a nutshell.
The difference is the intent. The Collector's actions are often evil, but his individual actions can also be good. If he helps or hurts, he doesn't care. That is amoral. Evil actively seeks and desires what is wrong and harmful. If The Collector's pursuit of a rare piece saved millions of lives, then he would do it. If his pursuit of a rare piece destroyed millions of lives, then he would do it. He's very much like Hollywood in that regard.
@@Scott-ec4cs I disagree with your definition of evil. Being willing to harm innocents in pursuit of your goals is textbook "evil villain" behavior, regardless of what those goals might be. I don't care if it's a 100% necessary step to curing cancer, if you're burning down an occupied orphanage you're evil, period. And even by your own definition the Collector would still be evil, unless you don't think "Kidnap a living sapient being and turn them into an unwilling exhibit." is a "wrong" or "harmful" goal.
An amoral person often does evil. Yes, individual actions are evil, but those individual actions don't determine what he'll do going forward. You're confusing an action with an attitude. A moral person commits good deeds. An immoral person commits evil deeds. An amoral doesn't care either way. He can commit good or evil. The actions you are mentioning are evil. But I was explaining the nature of the character based off of his entire history. The Collector is amoral which means that many of his actions, such as enslaving sentient beings, will be evil. Some of his actions, such as negotiating a large amount in good faith and dealing honestly with your client instead of using deception or brute force to get what you want, could be considered good. The Collector has a long history, of which we get a brief glimpse in Guardians, the end credits scene in The Dark World, and Infinity War.
One of the ones that I've been looking forward to. 😊 This one is my absolute favorite of the two. The second one is good as well, but this is my favorite. Both with EXCELLENT soundtracks! Congratulations again on reaching 100K! 🎊🎉 Looking forward to your next reaction. 😊
Post credit scene that Duck is Howard the Duck, they probably won't give him another movie hence him being captured by The Collector but he did have one in the 80's called Howard the Duck.
Because I'm all old and stuff, I was the only person in the theater to recognize Howard the Duck. I saw him in the comics first and then, the 80's movie.
The Sony Walkman was the first cassette-based personal stereo system to hit the mainstream market with a relatively slim footprint and low price point. It's one of those electronics devices that changes markets. Iconic. And very much with the vibe of the character. (And yeah - one can compare it to the iPod and then go on about how neither the Walkman nor iPod were the first of its kind and dive down the rabbit hole of why they were successful where predecessors fell short... but that's not the point.)
By 1988 (when MCU Peter Quill got abducted) the Walkman had been around for nine years, though, so there surely were other pocket cassette players around (though Sony's were probably still among the best)...
@@mbpoblet absolutely. And Sony was producing refined models by then. Walkman was still the standard (while becoming a culturally generic term for that tech form factor). Having said that... what we see in the flick looks like a later run of the original model that started it all. A model that was still being produced up to 2010 if I remember right. But again. If we want to talk about cultural touch-points in the 80s... "Walkman" invokes one of them. Including some of the pearl-clutching that mobiles invoke today.
@@mbpoblet Yeah, in 1988 personal cassette players (the technical term for them) were a dime a dozen, but Sony was considered higher quality. That also happened to be about the year I bought my first "Sony Discman" CD player which I still have. (But haven't used in decades.) While advertised as a "portable" music player, it wasn't really equivalent to a personal cassette player. You had to hold it very still, or preferably sit it on a table, to keep it from skipping. However its construction was much better than most cheap cassette players. It just feels like quality, and is actually quite heavy. (Search for "Sony Discman D-90" for pictures.)
Interesting fact in regards to what Drax said after their records were expunged: Dave Bautista also played a kryptonian villain from the Phantom Zone in the TV Series Smallville. His method of defeating his foes... removing their spines.
The reality of getting old: She saw this movie a "long, long time ago" and it came out in 2014. I saw a movie "a while back" and it came out in 1984. ;-)
After credit scene is Cosmo the space dog and Howard the Duck... Cosmo was a Soviet space dog during the 1960s. He was launched into Earth's orbit by the Soviet space program as part of an experiment but was lost in space, arriving in Knowhere and at some point being mutated by cosmic rays, he eventually came to serve as the station's security chief. Cosmo has psionic abilities, including high-level telepathy and telekinesis. In the Guardians of the Galaxy game he has some kids too, but a lower voice then in the Xmas special, which suits him better maybe. 😸💫
Most people don't know, the Talking Duck in the End Credits is HOWARD THE DUCK from the 1986 movie from Lucus Films. Howard the Duck is a Marvel Comic Character hence why he was in a Marvel Movie.
One of the things I love the most about this movie is that Peter and Gamora have a mutual respect for each other by the end of the film. She starts calling him by his first name instead of just his last name Quill. Another thing I enjoyed is the music. The sole fact that we had an Awesome Mix Volume 1 and then got Volume 2 (Meredith's parting gift for her son) was all the more reason that this movie needed a sequel. Just a little heads-up: Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 is part of phase three, but in the timeline it takes place only a few months after the first film. A fun fact about Groot: for this film, Vin Diesel voiced his line "I am Groot" in 15 other languages including French, German, Japanese, and Spanish.
Enjoyed your reaction to your revisit of this movie. Just for general info: this is not the original Guardians lineup. The dog you see in the Collector's display, is Cosmo the Space Dog. In the comics he's a member an earlier lineup of the Guardians. Yondu was an original member of the team, not the merc ravager you see in the movie. Finally the duck you saw in the end credits, is Howard The Duck. Also from space, & arguably one Marvel's weirdest quirkiest characters.
Saal was played by British actor/comedian Peter Serfinowicz. Aside from being hilarious, he was also the voice of Darth Maul in the Phantom Menace. His impressions are brilliant, particularly his Kevin Spacey.
2:21 it’s a common story structure that a childhood traumatic event is the catalyst for a fantasy adventure story. The subtext being that a child retreats into their imagination and creates a fantasy world-to escape the harsh realities they are facing in the real world
"Who has a favorite child?!" Publicly? Nobody; that's seriously messed up. Privately? Only every parent who has ever had more than one child. Some are just better at hiding it than others.
Best part of Vin Diesel as Groot is he is Groot in every language. I remember seeing a behind the scenes video of him recording all his Groot lines in every translated language! Yo soy Groot!
Everyone loves the Guardians. Their main guy demanded he be in on the crossover movies so he could still write them instead of handing them over to The Mouse.
In the 80's there was a movie called Howard the Duck. Which as it turns out was a Marvel Comics property. That's who the CGI duck was with the collector.
While the power stone would kill most normal beings (like a normal human, Kree or Xandarian), ones who are exceptionally strong members of their race are able to wield them briefly. And Ronan was far more formidable than the average Kree, he was basically super-soldier level for his species.
@@ianburns1167 Ronan the Accuser is a Thor level threat. He uses the Universal Weapon of the Kree, and his role in Kree society was only subservient to the Supreme Intelligence. Korath the Pursuer was tasked with chasing down fugitives who fled judgement by Ronan.
One of the better things I like in this movie is the fact the music is IN the story. Not only "outside" music, but part of the action... Thanks to this pop-music fangirl of Quill's mom!
The one thing they all had in common was they didn’t have friendship in their lives and it is the very thing that ended up saving each other both literally and figuratively. Great actor choices. The script made this movie both compelling and entertaining. Nice reaction. You obviously enjoy movies and what goes into making a really good film. When all the ingredients come together it’s magic
We are Groot! Easily the best of the Marvel movies, soundtrack is epic, story is solid, comedy is top tier. Amazing that the comic it is based on is one of the worst selling titles in the line up. You should do more comedies, Mel Brooks or Monty Python films are a great laugh!
That was Howard the Duck at the end which was an actual movie in the 80s and in the comics I believe. Guess you will have to Gaurdians vol 2 to find out about Quill's dad. ;)
The duck in the End Credit scene is Howard the Duck. He is a small Marvel character that has his own live actin movie (old), that currently has nothing to do with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It looks like you missed an awesome moment where Rocket mocks the Collector after the Power Stone is revealed (14:30), he doesn't care for exposition, he just wants the pay-off!
Addional scene has 1: Cosmo the Dog, from the Guardians of that galaxy comic, 2: Howard the Duck, (a marvel character), whose movie came on the say day as GOTG. his movie came out in 1986.
This movie was the biggest surprise in the MCU. Only few people did even know who the GotG were and almost everyone went to the cinema just to watch the next MCU movie just because it belongs in the MCU, but left the cinemas stating that this was probably one of the best ones in the MCU. Totally a breath of fresh air and easily one of the most rewatchable ones.
vin Diesel not only did the English voice of Groot - he did the voice in all the languages the movie was dubbed in. There's videos of all versions of "I am Groot". :)
You: “How come when he grabs it he doesn’t die, but when the girl grabbed it she did?” The Collector: “-then the universe exploded into existence and the remnants of these beings were forged into concentrated ingots. Infinity Stones. These stones it seems can only be brandished by beings of extraordinary strength. Beautiful.”
V, the duck at the end was Howard the Duck, in 1986, George Lucas from Star Wars made the second or third Marvel movie, after Dr. Strange (1978) and Spiderman (1980), he got a golden ticket from Hollywood after making Star Wars, so he picked the weirdest Marvel character, because he figured that they were going to make movies about the Hulk and the X-men, but probably never about Howard the Duck so he decided to make one himself.
If you wanna know who was his dad, check out Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2! Hey, VKunia! Have you ever thought about doing a collab reaction with another UA-cam reactor?
U mean the player or the cassette? I didnt throw out all my 80's cassettes until about 10 years ago. They all still worked. But, I also had them stored in their original plastic cases and in briefcases that were designed to store cassettes
The more powerful you are, the longer you can hold the power infinity stone before you eventually explode. Ronan knew he was powerful enough to handle it long enough to transfer it to his hammer.
The ending credit with The Collector, Howard The Duck is a Marvel Character but not as a big character as everyone thinks. It’s just showing a cameo. He is basically like a cult classic character. In regards to Groot, yes he can regenerate however, that Groot dies. This new baby Groot is a reincarnation of Groot.
To go with the end credit scene with Howard The Duck, you should check out the old school cheesy pre-MCU era movie, Howard The Duck. Many cheesy laughs to be had.
the thing you didn't understand was just that it was Howard The Duck in the end credits scene. it was just a fun little nod back to the first real marvel movie, way back before the mcu.
About the end tag, Howard the Duck is a very popular character. He actually had his own solo film in the mid 80s. It was the 2nd theatrical Feature ever for a Marvel character. You should watch it.
Denarian Saal, the nova corps fleet commander was played by Peter Serafinowicz who was also the voice of Darth Maul in Star Wars Episode 1, he's also very well known for various projects with Simon Pegg. On that note I highly recommend watching a British comedy series called 'Spaced', it's only two seasons but hilariously weird.
the end credit scene with The Collector featured Howard the Duck and Cosmo (the dog). Howard the Duck was an old Marvel comic title that had one (so bad it was good) movie, that barely touched any of the real source material. Cosmo, the Space Dog. He was part of a USSR space program, and his rocket was discovered by The Collector way back when. IIRC, he was introduced in the 60's.
VKunia ! You have just proven you have the biggest and softest Heart. I think this might be a record for how quick you cried for someone' anguish. It only took 35 seconds for your tears from both eyes to run down your cheeks. I loved it that you didn't edit it away. We feel it with you. As I said...... You have the biggest and Softest Heart.
17:24 Yondu's smile says it all: he was counting on Quill talking his way out of this. Yondu had to go after Quill to maintain his leadership of the Ravagers but he didn't want to actually kill him.
People had no idea what they were in for when this was announced. But I was totally on board for a space adventure even though it wasn't the original lineup. It had Rocket Raccoon and I liked his miniseries and was interested in seeing what they would do with him. Gunn's humor is top notch here and the way the characters interact are the best thing, plus bringing Ronan in was so cool and I love how they stuck with his look. Seeing the Star Corps meant that Nova wouldn't be far behind. Yet, we wait.
More than once when I had friends that weren’t familiar with marvel movies and didn’t want to watch anything too deep or emotionally heavy I suggested this and completely forgot about that beginning. When she flatlines I’d look over and they would be glaring at me. But they ended up enjoying it each time and watched the second one as well.

That was a joke apparantly.
George Lucas was executive producer for it as well as star'd Lea Thompson, Jeffrey Jones, and Tim Robbins.
The Power Stone
Fun facts:
Vin Deisel voiced Groot in all language versions of the film.
The dog at the end supposed to be based on Laika the dog sent into space in the 50s. He's called Cosmo the Space Dog in Marvel Comics.
The duck is Howard the Duck a comic character. He also had a movie from way back...don't watch it.
No, Howard the Duck MUST be watched. I watched it just last weekend, and it my 4th or 5th time.
@@Moxx3 If you like train-wrecks.
@@Moxx3 agree its a fun film to watch
It´s so bad and messy that it is good.
Possibly my favorite line in this film is "I don't know that I think ANYONE is 100% a dick." Such a perfect picture as to his character.
10:30 we have another Drax fan. I can never say it enough, but Dave as Drax is so perfect 😃
I love the MCU but every time I come back to this one I "Marvel" at how utterly creative and well done it is. One of my most favorite.
These movies have exceptional soundtracks. Pretty much every track is a banger at the pub.
As a character, Groot will go grow on you too. Is final speech about family and togetherness is both enlightening and captivating. It feels like a giant warm hug.
That was Howard the Duck at the end (voiced by Seth Green)
Howard is one of the stranger Marvel characters, and had his own very under appreciated movie, back around 1980 or so.
...and the dog was a Soviet cosmonaut/test subject from the Cold War. The dog had an origin and has teleportation and telepathic powers.
If Marvel is smart ( and I know they are) we'll get the story of how a celestial was beheaded.
It's the head of Unicron. Transformers were Marvel once
@@revolg9 No. It's not Unicron. Go and Troll somewhere else bruh.
The Collector isn't evil. He's amoral. He just does what he wants. He's an ancient being (like some others I don't want to spoil) that simply decided to have the most unique collection in the universe. That's an oversimplification, but it's him in a nutshell.
He has a dark elf in one cage
Doing whatever you want no matter who it hurts is, in fact, evil. As is keeping slaves and kidnapping people to use as display pieces.
This one is my absolute favorite of the two. The second one is good as well, but this is my favorite. Both with EXCELLENT soundtracks!
Congratulations again on reaching 100K! 🎊🎉
Looking forward to your next reaction.
I'm so glad you're watching this one again knowing what you know now will make this even funnier than before you're awesome
"We're just like Kevin Bacon!" Footloose reference.
The blue alien that gets Groot's fingers shoved up his nose is voiced by Nathan Fillion
The subtext being that a child retreats into their imagination and creates a fantasy world-to escape the harsh realities they are facing in the real world
The duck in the end credit sequence is Howard the Duck. Absolutely a worthy movie.
"Who has a favorite child?!"
Publicly? Nobody; that's seriously messed up.
Privately? Only every parent who has ever had more than one child. Some are just better at hiding it than others.
Best part of Vin Diesel as Groot is he is Groot in every language. I remember seeing a behind the scenes video of him recording all his Groot lines in every translated language! Yo soy Groot!
Everyone loves the Guardians. Their main guy demanded he be in on the crossover movies so he could still write them instead of handing them over to The Mouse.
"You can't start off a movie like this." Have you seen Up?
Who would have thought that Batista of all people would have such great comic timing?
In the 80's there was a movie called Howard the Duck. Which as it turns out was a Marvel Comics property. That's who the CGI duck was with the collector.
I can not describe how much I was smiling when she mentioned borderlands I just love borderlands so much
While the power stone would kill most normal beings (like a normal human, Kree or Xandarian), ones who are exceptionally strong members of their race are able to wield them briefly. And Ronan was far more formidable than the average Kree, he was basically super-soldier level for his species.
I always call Ronan the Kree Captain America. The comparison holds up surprisingly well.
Wasn't expecting Dr. Steve Brule to be referenced, but incredibly happy that he was
The one thing they all had in common was they didn’t have friendship in their lives and it is the very thing that ended up saving each other both literally and figuratively. Great actor choices. The script made this movie both compelling and entertaining. Nice reaction. You obviously enjoy movies and what goes into making a really good film. When all the ingredients come together it’s magic
This is my second favorite Marvel movie after Thor Ragnarok so I’m super glad to see it
We are Groot!
In case you were wondering the Duck was Howard. There was actually a Marvel type 80's movie named "Howard The Duck" So that was a little Easter Egg.
You: “How come when he grabs it he doesn’t die, but when the girl grabbed it she did?”
The Collector: “-then the universe exploded into existence and the remnants of these beings were forged into concentrated ingots.
"Who has a favorite child?" Just look at me and my sister. Parents always have favorites no matter what they say
Rocket has had many names (hamster, rabbit, buildabear) 😹
drax just being drax is always funny moment in guardian movies
The most unbelievable thing about this film is that a cassette tape would last so long.
I think it's more the batteries than the cassette tape.
Thumbs up for the line "pelvic sorcery" though.
Fun fact the guy in the pilots seat next to Quill when rocket was going to blow the ravengers ship up was Rob Zombie
"Who has a favorite child??"
All parents. All of them.
You will know more about Quill’s family history in “Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2”.
About the end tag, Howard the Duck is a very popular character. He actually had his own solo film in the mid 80s. It was the 2nd theatrical Feature ever for a Marvel character. You should watch it.
Absolutely my favourite MCU team. These guys are so hilarious. Also happy to see VKunia watching something positive after all those war flicks! :D
8:45 "Who ha a 'favorite' child?! And he saw [the other] sitting right there."
You're right -- he's _definitely_ going to be a bad guy.
the end credit scene with The Collector featured Howard the Duck and Cosmo (the dog).
26:17 You're right. Groot's thing is selling merchandise.
Sony needed that product placement to push those casette-Walkmans ;)
"Star Lord" wasn't kidnapped, he was Rescued... from living a dull life on Earth.
17:24 Yondu's smile says it all: he was counting on Quill talking his way out of this. Yondu had to go after Quill to maintain his leadership of the Ravagers but he didn't want to actually kill him.
I always thought of it as a "That's my boy" moment of Yondu being proud peter got one up on him.
Grats on 100k. I knew it was just a matter of time. You're very sweet and emotive
*When Groot sticks his fingers inside the blue guy's nose* I feel your pain blue guy -_- I was just in a hospital with my nose XD
This movie has the single greatest opening of the MCU.
21:20 he can whistle. He demonstrated his skills at a comic con.
The end credit scene is about "Howard the Duck"(great movie) and the dog is from "Air Bud (space buddies).
Legit laughed out loud half a dozen times just at @Vkunia 's observations watching this.
Back to being my favorite reactor. :)
3:40
Peter: *kills someone *
"Oh that's not comfortable"
More than once when I had friends that weren’t familiar with marvel movies and didn’t want to watch anything too deep or emotionally heavy I suggested this and completely forgot about that beginning. When she flatlines I’d look over and they would be glaring at me. But they ended up enjoying it each time and watched the second one as well.
You didnt know the completely CGI'd character was played by van diesel? Perfectly suited to his acting talent.
I would also recommend Cine Binge Reactis. Simone and George play off each other quite well.
