We're actually looking to move as a group - just haven't decided on the game. QI is being rec'd as an insult to GvG players since this is clearly nothing like it.
Changes always cause some # of players to leave. In the case of gvg, though, we're talking about very few people. I expect 10-15 from our server to have a similar reaction. I also expect others to celebrate their departure.

My GUESS is that the new QI will hit Beta around the end of January. They've made us wait a couple of months already so far though, so it might well be end February instead. The question is how many OTHER updates they will be working on at the same time. We'll be getting a St Patrick's event (probably?) on live in late Feb, so probably starting in a week or two on Beta. There's also another anniversary event in the pipeline for after that. On top of that, there is a new "Space Age Space Hub" technology era in the works (probably?), which I'd guess might hit Beta in March or April sometime. That said, you want to try minimize the number of changes being tested at the same time, and the programmers doing the back-end work DEFINITELY want to have as few different system changes in progress as possible, to minimize the number of bugs and issues that they need to work on. Who knows how the timelines of all these updates will really turn out...

Or if you need to donate 1,000 goods but your treasury is empty. Bots are good for ultrafast clicking but quantum incursions is not about fast clicking, quite the contrary.
Maybe we should talk about Inno’s complete and utter lack of planning and forethought. Take their recent GBs. The Flying Island was billed as a partner building to the cultural settlements. However, you can’t get it (without trading goods with advanced players) until SAV. Anyone needing the FI at SAV, has missed the point of cultural settlements a long time ago! It’s a total waste of GB space at this point because Cultural Settlements have been more of an afterthought than GvG at this point. Come out with a new GB then don’t do anything new to make it useful!? Come on! Then take SAT Pegasus. Same exact thinking. It’s a GB that gives support pool bonus (like OBS) and then end GvG?! What’s the support pool for?! Complete incompetence at INNO. Why make GBs like this with rewards that are going to end? I know there are other bonuses to the PEG, but again complete lack of forward thinking. It’s like the hand isn’t talking to the foot and they are both trying to do the job of the ear. Add to that all the power creep or power race to the moon in these new buildings (another lack of simple logic!) it makes one wonder who is in charge there. I expect nothing less of Guild Raids / Quantum… oh whatever Incursions. Again, not ready for Prime Time. Hey that could be INNO’s new motto!
The reason Pegasus has support pool is because all GB that give city defense give support pool. It will be replaced with something else when GvG ends, supposedly.
Kinda makes the point doesn’t it… why add support pool if you’re going to not need it. It’s useless like the FI for anyone advanced enough when it comes out to build the thing. Lack of planning. Once I did the 3 Cultural Settlements that I had interest in doing, I saw ne reason to keep my FI in. I sold it, since it was very low level - under Level:10. I'm in Titan but have not/will not build any GBs from that era. I refuse to waste my goods to unlock each and every level after Level:10. It sets a huge prescident over any future GBs. You can expect this from here on out. Even if you do some unfair trades, to help a lower guildmate put them in, you will have to continue to breastfeed them for all of the levels. Those of us - in Titan have always had to wait for new eras to be added to the game. But, a player, who begins the game today has every single GB open to them to build. This game is not geared to old players - like me. They don't give 2 shits about us. Every point that you brought up, I feel ya' i agree, yet they won't redo bad things. They will make good thing bad - or take them away from us. I won't even say a word about losing GvG, which I participated in since THE DAY IT WAS INTRODUCED TO THE GAME! this is already very long, so let me just say that Level:5 GE is a crock of shit as is the revamping of GBG.

The only thing not at 100 at my SAT GBs. It will take a while with all those goods. Only thing I care to build is CF and AO (for attrition). Will really miss GvG. Clunky though it is, it’s the best part of the game regardless of what all these “experts” say. If I had a dime for every expert in FOE… well, I’d probably have a ton of dimes, that’s for sure!
I didn't realize quantum excretions was a replacement for guild raids, I thought they abandoned guild raids and are using this as filler while they rid us of the fun part of the game.
I don't know. Do the developers actually play FoE? The change they made, where the "Currently Selected Army" grid shifts around all the troop units after every battle makes very hard to know which troops need to be swapped out for fresh. I mean, you can see which ones are damaged but since they've all shifted places on the grid, you have to check pretty closely to make sure you're replacing the right units. It seems like someone who actually plays the game would never make such a change.
Doesn’t it re-order them based on health remaining? I understand your point but have found it handy to quickly change out those with the most damage taken.
@@ywills7890 In CE, the Missile Artillery units look a lot like the Heavy Tanks - especially after multiple eye surgeries. If they stayed where I put them in the grid, it would be easy to know which units were damaged but they shift around so it's almost easier to click 8 times to clear out the whole grid and simply add all the standard units back to the grid.
Betting they don't or things would be very diferent. Mods - some do most don't and don't have a clue. Sure they'll have a city, do the usual stuff but how could they based on the canned replies to tickets?
That is correct. You can buy a golden event pass. Free to play players can win free chests. I think that it will be like events: if you pay for an event pass you get extra chests in addition to your free chests. Maybe even exclusively golden event pass rewards
I never played GVG it doesnt have the rewards and for what i saw mechanic is bad it is only good for huge guilds with massive surplus of goods. Maybe they shouldnt remove gvg but sometyhing new like this is really nice and they should add more activities to the game to make it more entartaining
they should make a gameplay mode without end but to make it harder for bots this you can play 24/7 but its hard and you have to think to finish and win i think like reward some building parts or forge points something fun or GB that plans are only obtainable by this mode without plans in investments
This abomination has been cobbled together as an excuse to ditch GVG the money inno gouge out of us has been going up and up with silver gold and apparently a platinum lvl on event buildings. What is the betting they will make it spend diamonds to advance. So a new earner compared to no diamond spend in GVG. I don't have an issue ending GVG if they won't spend on GVG fixes
We don't know exactly when you will unlock access to this feature. My guess would be the Iron Age though, as that's where we get access to all the other guild features.
In the game files there is a tooltip text that says that you need to research Chain of Command (an Iron Age technology) to participate in Quantum Incursions. So Iron Age campers will be able to compete as well
GvG needs to go away ASAP! Literally anything would be a good replacement for it as it's a complete waste of time that only costs a guild goods, and it's members tons of units with no real reward. It's only available on browser as well which just puts more pressure on those not playing on mobile. QI will be an excellent replacement for GvG.
Personally, I've never cared about GvG, since there's really no worth reward for participating in it. I liked what I've seen about QI so far, let's see if it really will be a good addition to the game
GVG was the main collector of crowns, which is guild level. Is your guild lvl 100 yet? The reduced costs of literally everything is tied to guild level. 🤷🏼♀️
@@mantaray357 how much guild power do you collect from gvg? 10k daily? From GBG you get 500k in 2 weeks. I know an example of a guild which made lvl 100 in about one year without gvg, just winning almost every GBG and collecting power from guild buildings like hall of fame, statue of honor etc.

I'm surprised at how many people stopped playing the game after GE-5 was released. A good percentage of my Friends list just went dark over time.

this gb could give attack boost which would be great for starting players and make it available from even bronze age
