One solution for blisters that worked for me, which isnt too obvious was using included shock absorber which I removed at first - powerslide next gets really narrow down the bottom and it was destroying my foot, simply using a shock absorber to raise my foot a bit above narrow bottom fixed most of the issues, a thick sports sock helped too, I tried special skating socks and it was worse than generic sports sock that has thicker material around the soles a bit similar to a towel weave (idk how to describe it otherwise) - it collects sweat and absorbs all rubbing from skates, wish I knew of it from the start
I got bamboo socks after reading about it on an inline skating forum. They're 73% bamboo viscose (which is a semi-synthetic material), 25% polyamide and 2% elastane. Unlike cotton, the bamboo viscose moves the moisture away and is also anti-bacterial which helps prevent body odor. It's a very soft, thin, and tight fabric that feels nice. I'm using those now for skating and hiking and haven't had any more blisters. When I learned inline skating as a child, the common wisdom was to wear thick socks and even two pairs. I know now that isn't it because it just causes more movement between the layers which leads to more friction. Better go with the thinnest socks and tighten the skates properly.

Really informative, thank you! As a beginner skater this comes at a good time as I’m just coming to the end of two gnarly blisters healing 👍
I use neoprene footies/socks over my regular socks. Cushens the pressure points and prevents blisters.
