My sister works in a local TV station and it's scary how much of this movie actually depicts her workplace... XD Minus the 70's feminism stuff, the female newscasters are just as weird as the male ones these days.
This movie has the best performances from every individual actor. All of the channel 4 news team gotta be some of the funniest characters ever in a movie.
My grandmother and I were channel surfing once when she saw _Anchorman_ on the guide, and before I could explain to her why she wouldn’t like it, she clicked on it. I got about "it has very crass humor that you probably won’t-" out before it loaded on exactly 3:00. I honestly couldn’t have timed it better if I tried.
