Yup. Keeps them vital and engaged. The only true "sell out" in music, IMO, is when a band keeps regurgitating the exact same sound over and over, for fear of alienating fans. Everything the Warning does still qualifies as Rock, all they've done is add different shades to it, from Pop to 90s Alt, to Prog tinges and even Pop Punk. But it's still Hard Rock at it's core. Also what does "Alt Rock" even mean? It's literally "Alternative" and as such is a pretty big blanket. This is closer to the sounds form the mid 90s, L7, 4 Non Blondes, etc.. which is some of the music they grew up on.
I've watched them grow up on UA-cam, I support anything they do and wish them whatever success comes their way, they have paid their dues and deserve all that success.
Continue the journey down the rabbit hole with "Evolve" from the same MTV awards or try one of the new songs, "Hell You Call A Dream" LIVE from the Pepsi Center last month or "Automatic Sun" released last week. It is a studio version of the song dubbed over video footage from their Live debut on Easter weekend. Enjoy!!!
i have been loving what they are doing. the best time to experiment is when you have 100% creative control using a labels money. why i fell in love with this band is how they seem to know how to mix up genres and warningfy it.
Something to note is that the vast majority of that crowd had never heard of TW before. Also, while MTV gave all the bands performing on this "side stage" up to three takes to get it, TW nailed both theirs in just one. To your pinned question, while their newer songs (More, S!CK, Q+Q, HYCAD, and Automatic Sun) have a somewhat different feel to them, I don't feel that they're a different style; more like TW is just adding more tools to the toolbox. And yes, I still haven't found a song of theirs that I don't like.
MTV still shows music in Latin America, The Warning opened for The Foo Fighters in 22 and showed a couple of songs on the Latin America channel, Likely the producers there told the producers in Amercia they should check them out, I am just guessing but I can imagine it happening that way and the Prodeucer of this performance on MTV was caught on a hot mic say somenthing like Holy shit, I am a fan.
The new The Warning album will be out in July with MORE and also they've released several additional new songs from the new album. The music video for S!CK, the live at the Pepsi Center for Hell You Call a Dream and recently Automatic Sun with a studio track but over a live performance of the song and all are very good. They also released another new song but the title escapes me and it's in Spanish, both the title and the lyrics, but it's also really good even if I don't really understand Spanish.
Definitely funk. Pau recently said in an interview that funk was her latest jam. Toxic relationship for sure but relationship with what? Doesn’t really matter. We all have those unhealthy relationships with things in our life. & probably unrelated (but back to back on the album) ‘Que Mas Quieres’ is basically the other side of that ‘MORE’ relationship. It’s the antagonist saying “I got you and I know it”
QMQ being the "other side" of MORE is quite an interesting observation! Didn't look at it from this perspective, but definitely It makes a lot of sense 👍🤟⚡
The Warning is a live band per definition - show, presence, fun to watch, the energy they bring is incredible. They are all masters of their instruments. "Automatic Sun" has just been released - go for it!
The Warning... Fantastic Band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice reaction. I suggest Automatic Sun that just dropped. It’s amazing. Also He’ll you call a dream live from the Pepsi center is awesome. Thanks for the reaction
Nice reaction and analysis from both of you - spot on! No doubt MORE was specifically selected for the general MTV audience who was not familiar with them, as it's maybe the closest thing to pop that they've done. However, anything they do is more badass when played live.
I will admit it might not be the first song to show someone who hasn't heard The Warning personally, only because it's a pretty different genre than what they've done before, but that's just my opinion.
Thanks Ace....so not think they are branching out...just setting bar higher and higher in the Rock world...the talent amongst these 3 sister is off the charts and so is their music and writing. Maybe check out the newest releases from their up and coming new album in June, "Keep Me Fed". some of the best Rock music in decades IMHO!! Carry on.
@AceofBadeReacts the one when they were kids. Gave a thumbs up, I didn't know how to comment back then. Seeing a comment one day of a band covered Metallica was on MTV Awards of something so I watched. Whoa, what?! I looked into it, I'm better at my phone now, and of course I chose Enter Sandman for the Blacklist Album. And it's been a bad ass ride for 3 months now. ❤️ them. Queens of Rock!
This band is a gem! Actually, I honestly can suggest any of their songs and performances! But maybe I say: 'Dull Knives' live from the Warning Cave for deTour.
FYI, there is a documentary of the before and after this performance. And as they were coming off stage, the MTV stage producer said, "Holy shit! That was amazing. I'm now a fan." I understand they were the only band that needed only one take on both songs.
Great Reaction. Great job TwinklyTor. Please react to Hell You Call A Dream And Automatic Sun. You Don't know what you're missing if you haven't heard them!
Thank you so much for the donation. I have been in the process of moving so I wasn't able to say it sooner. Dream is on the list, but I'll add Automatic Sun to it as well
No recuerdo quien lo dijo, al parecer fue un periodista español al opinar sobre The Warning, "Es musica que se ve" confirmo es diferente cuando veo los videos a solo oirlas.
Something most reactors don't mention very often is these, amazing, young ladies don't really do covers. (95-98%) of their music is their compositions. They write all their own stuff....
I mean even if they change some of the stuff on an already established song, a cover is still a cover. Disturbed's Sound of Silence for example. But yes they have done quite a few covers starting off and now they have 4 albums of their own material
Who is your guest? She seems to really know what she's talking about. And she is gorgeous. No offense to you, but come on. She knows what she is talking about.
Are you a fan of them branching out into different styles like this?
Yup.

They've always experimented, with some songs going towards metal, grunge, punk, new wave, rock ballads, etc. and they even put some k-pop elements in.
Yes I am. That does not mean that I will like what the experiments produce, but I like that the girls are willing to do it.
Absolutely! This is truly funk groove rock… but still heavy as hell at times.
I've watched them grow up on UA-cam, I support anything they do and wish them whatever success comes their way, they have paid their dues and deserve all that success.

Oh cool. I haven't heard about that one yet. I did react to Evolve if you want to check out the playlist
Wow! Your guest today was EXCEPTIONAL at music and performance analysis!!! She adds so much to the channel, which was already a great channel
haha thank you
They melted this stage with Evolve...New songs.. AUTOMATIC SUN(Studio version). HELL YOU CALL A DREAM LIVE AT THE PEPSI CENTER CDMX💥🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑💥
Be sure to check out the playlist of The Warning songs I have reacted to
The new album is them experimenting and having fun. So far I'm all for it!
That's awesome. That means they get to add to their repertoire
Love Ale's bass in this one and also hearing her sing is always a treat. BTW, nice to see you're warning more people.😁👍
Yeah I'm giving them a heads up
Best band out there ..🤘

What do you mean takes? Like these were filmed for tv or something?
@@AceofBadeReacts Yes. This vid of More, and the similar one of Evolve, were taped for the MTV Video Music Awards.

Yeah it's quite possible. I have to assume the producers all work together in some form or fashion
These girls have been my favorite band for a couple of years.Love watching people react to them when they don't know a whole lot about them
Almost every person I've reacted with on this channel I have introduced to The Warning

The short version in a radio studio is the best. *The Warning | Qué Más Quieres || en Exafm*
@@TheUnderdogDe cool
Oh cool. I didn't know it was coming out in July
I have been listening to heavy rock for 50 years. TW are my favourite. Ale is my all-time favourite musician. Born 13 December 2004.
This Band will be a Headliner ? It already should. All their material is superb . Quite a collection of Gems .
Definitely funk. Pau recently said in an interview that funk was her latest jam.

Interesting. It's always cool when a band has a sequel song of sorts
Great Job TwinklyTor Your addition and Comment's was great. Great Job Guys. The Warning are Rock Stars!!!
Great reaction! Please take a look at 23, a beautiful song that gets overlooked
It is on the list to check out
Excellent my friends... excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Warning... Fantastic Band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Warning is 100% 🔥 !!!🎵ole ole ole oleeee Warning Warning🎵¡¡¡. Greetings from Argentina.
Nice reaction. I suggest Automatic Sun that just dropped. It’s amazing. Also He’ll you call a dream live from the Pepsi center is awesome. Thanks for the reaction
They are on the list
They were the only band to perform that night that weren’t up for an award.
The releases from this fourth album has me looking forward to the fifth album, as well as returning to the first three albums. 🤘🏻🙂
10:45 Well, you just did 😁I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself.
I see what you did there
@@AceofBadeReacts Seriously though, there's a LOT more, so take a deep breath, and continue down the TW rabbit hole.

Regarding when Ale was born, she was born in December 2004. Dany was born January 30?, 2000 and Pau was born February 5, 2002
Maybe I had a typo on Alejandra's
Pau beats the drums like they owe her money!🎸🎸

Queens of Rock. This was my re introduction to the Warning. ❤❤
What was your first introduction to The Warning?
@AceofBadeReacts the one when they were kids. Gave a thumbs up, I didn't know how to comment back then. I've taken to calling The Warning's style "Groove Rock".
Hi Ace, the song is a rock song, but they are really good at putting together their own sound instead of sounding like someone else. Thankyou guys.
Their new song live at Tecate Pal Norte is their best ever
☀️ Automatic Sun☀️
🔥👸👸👸🔥
Best 3 piece rock band in the 🌎🌍
Rock 🤘😎
@Ace Reacts 🤘
This song is about Addiction to anything.
I'm getting mixed answers
This band is a gem! Actually, I honestly can suggest any of their songs and performances! But maybe I say: 'Dull Knives' live from the Warning Cave for deTour.

That's freaking awesome
Ale's backing vocals ... 🔥🔥🔥
Don't get hung up on genre labels. Irrelevant when it comes to The Warning.
While understandable, I respectfully disagree. It's great to look at labels to see what a band has done and what the band can do
Good reaction.
You would have loved "Evolve" more.
Your friend is absolutely stunning. I'm glad she liked it.
I actually did react to Evolve a while back. Be sure to check out the playlist
Great Reaction. Great job TwinklyTor. Please react to Hell You Call A Dream And Automatic Sun. You Don't know what you're missing if you haven't heard them!

Evolve makes More sound like a lullaby.
I think it's just 2 different genre of songs is all, but yes Evolve is heavier than More
Please React to The Warning "Hell You Call A Dream Live" and "Automatic Sun". Amazing New Songs......
Thank you so much for the donation. I have been in the process of moving so I wasn't able to say it sooner. Dream is on the list, but I'll add Automatic Sun to it as well
Alt rock? Grunge? Hard Rock? Nah...Warning rock.

Now watch them bring down the house at VMA's with "Evolve"...Now just watch them rock with new song/video "Automatic Sun...they rock it hard,,,"

Not the best introduction song. Just sayin.
It wasn't. But I try to pick songs that my guests haven't heard and ones I haven't heard yet either.
