Hell yes I ordered a HD7582 for my 05 Sierra Denali. My goal is 10:50s at full weight. The truck is awd and has 4.10 gears factory. Im hoping the setup will be punchy on the street and still have enough turbine flow to push the heavy truck into the 10s.
I really like this combo on the street, I have a very stout engine, 6.0 with a single plane high rise intake and 620"/620 - 230/230 cam so its got a lot of motor, but I love driving it around!
@@robertyoung6626 thats awesome my setup is a forged rod and piston 6.0 with trickflow 225 heads and a BTR stage 2 N/A cam 227/234 duration 613/576 lift. Its stout N/A so I figured it should be pretty nasty with another atmosphere on to of it. I cant wait to get it done.
@@forcedperformance768 75/82 thanks. So I have a t4 setup on my 5.3 hsv Holden commodore and I went with t4 cos I was told being a t56 manual trans car a little t4 back pressure was better for me set up? I don’t know if this is correct but if the 75/82 is in t4 config and unless you recommend I do something else setup wise....I’d like to try one.
@@robertyoung6626 one of the reasons I sold my chrome bumper cars and jumped into an ls combo...the ol street machines were becoming worth enuff money to make me nervous lol. This stuff is way more fun.
@@clint.garage.6092 in my case I run 13-14psi boost and see the EMAP creep up to 22psi in the upper RPM, and the power just keeps climbing to 7000rpm for me.
@@robertyoung6626 ya man. Don't get me wrong, I'm a child of the sloppy. But I've gone to great lengths to keep my swap as mint as possible. Mostly because none cares to remake interior parts for a 92 ranger. So once I shit can something, that's it...there is NO going back lol
Have you and Mitchell coordinated running the Boosthoe and Uncle Rob at Yello Belly? Its gotta be about the same distance from you in Anna as the new strip you were at, give or take. Plus they have printed timeslips lol
For fueling have you ever tried the Holey fuel mat? I have heard great things about it but mostly in a lab type environment. I want to use it myself on my cars.
I have one, but Im lifting out of the stock tank thru the factory location, and for a while I had a leak in that pickup tube and didnt know it, and Im still not sure exactly what is going on insdie that tank.. Gonna all come out and do something different now. Might put a circle track tank where the spare tire lives now and try to keep the factory gas filler neck in place.
I love how every sleeper video has some dip shit in the background yell talking to some one at the line (it's twin turbo ) cause that's all they know is twin turbo and the other guy is always like oh really when in his head he's like ya I know it's single turbo so you sound stupid
Robert please keep making content. This is awesome 👍
I hope it was clear how much fun we were having, we'll be making more content for sure!
thanks! You can count on us keeping it up :)

@@dalethomas9307 that engine combo sounds a lit like mine!
Robert you should do the GMT900 front brake swap on that thing. Massively improved braking just with the caliper/rotor swap 👍👍
Im gonna check that out, thanks!
Thanks for the idea, I have now added the 2020 front brakes, they are YUGE!
Rear blew up because it wheel hopped you can hear the tires grab and release. Need some suspension work. That is impressive for a heavy vehicle
Love it. How about a Suburban?
Definitely been done a bunch of times! Check out Mitchell Stapleton's videos!
I was the first car in this video (67 blue Camaro} That thing is fast.
No way! Your car is beautiful and not exactly a slouch! You had us on ET for sure, but we were up a few mph. Rematch when the new axle goes in?
howdy and thanks for the comment! I have a feeling we will get a chance to line up again someday this summer :)
So good seeing someone break shit but have fun doing it....good times....no fucks given. I need me some HD 75 80 woteva it is action.
HD7582! Things will always break, but the glory lives on.
it is very refreshing to race something that doesnt cost a bunch of money to repair or require obscure hard to find parts!

Roberto... that was awesome. Never seen an SUV that quick. Congrats man!! Sorry to see that final run flop though...
There's no success without failure! We knew it was coming soon.
Thanks Bart!
Spend the extra time and care, keep it a caterpillar. You won't regret it. But once the sawzall blades come out.....
We'll see how it progresses...
I hear you, once you start cutting it up the slope gets very slick.

Haha, 10-bolt strikes again
The ol 10 bolt got both the Tahoe and the white truck LOL
Love your turbos . I have an hta 68 . This project is amazing!
That's awesome. Looks like you had a blast.
Need to adjust the rear hatch door, that interior light comes on when I launch lol. Harder I come out the more the light stays on!
Babysoft launch is the key!
What transmission is in the Tahoe?
we changed from the original 4L60 to a 4L80.
and we are about to change out the original 10bolt rear axle to a 14bolt
