Lauryn did not fall from greatness. She walked away. The amazing thing about Lauryn is if she pulls up to NYC right now to put on a show, a swarm of fans will turn up and she can bring the house down like she did back then. There's still no other artist who can sing and rap like L Boogie to date.

Right. She didn’t get booed off. It’s actually a great thing to witness because the crowd did indeed start to boo. However, Young Lauryn did not let that overpower her will and she didn’t allow the crowd’s initial response to decide her fate.

I remember the controversy surrounding what Lauryn Hill allegedly said about certain people buying her music. But, just to give some context - a radio personality had been playing her music during a segment of his show, and made the comment, "No wonder Black people are being dragged." It was a reference to the dragging of James Byrd, with chains tied to his legs behind a pick-up truck by two white men in Jasper, Texas. People were still struggling to get over the shock of that. I would imagine Blacks in particular, and rightly so. In that context, when a radio dj has the gall to joke about it, anyone would clap back from an emotional place. Not saying Lauryn Hill made the comment she's blamed for, but, again, in that context, making a light-hearted reference to that heinous crime, essentially a modern day lynching, if she did say it, she gets a pass.

One of the most talented artists of our time is a major understatement. She is a goddess. Probably the most talented for generations to comes. It sucks she had to walk away from fame. Nas got her out of hiding for his latest album and blessed us with her beautiful voice.

of course she can git back in the game, when the music flows spiritually from your DNA as a direct gift from god ,after that the only one can stop her is lauryn hill . and those of us who know and remember her will always be waiting with open arms, shes a very unique talent and all entertainers can re-invent they self as ,we git older we git wiser. COME ON HOME LAURYN, ITS NEVER TOO LATE!

Crazy, as in thinking that a man who cheated on his real with her, would somehow be true to her. Crazy, as in abuse her own daughter because the daughter is prettier than her. Crazy, as in a maker of illogical decisions. Truly a typical representative of her kind.

She was heartbroken when she wasn't chosen and ran to Marley.
When you hurt, don't jump into a new relationship. Take time to heal. Then she had Zion.
Her daughter said she use to beat her hard. She was very angry and not over him.
Why you need to forgive and let go of that man who just don't want you.
Her album to this day is 🔥.
The sweetest thing I've ever known, helped me heal my heart break back in the day.
Perhaps some hoodoo went on too.
    I have Haitian friends.
    I know.

In my humble opinion, her MTV unplugged album is the perfect follow up to Miss education because she’s speaking so much more profound truths. Far too many people snapped on that album to this day. I continue to play it on rotation often times listening to that album exclusively for months on end.

Lauryn’s experience is a true testament of exactly what happens when a person becomes aware of their eternal greatness and posses the courage to liberate themselves by WALKING AWAY from “the machine.”That is what she did WALK AWAY NOT FALL. She liberated herself spiritually by refusing to conform to the religious factors of the entertainment industry and allowed her spirituality to rule. The gatekeepers of that paradigm see you coming when you are magnanimously anointed for superstardom/ greatness and they’ll stop at nothing to destroy you if they know they can’t control you.
Lauryn still has my full support and I believe she would pack the house out anywhere if her appearance is announced!!! 🎯💯❤️👊🏾🇪🇹

Lauryn's MTV Unplugged was not a fail. Her performance of "Jerusalem" let me know she fell on some true knowledge and wisdom about who she is and we are in "Black" America. It's hard trying to live truth surrounded by the lies and demonic industry of the music industry. Pure people don't last in it long because they not willing to give up their souls for fame.

Lauryn Hill is a LIVING LEGEND and an ICON!! There hasn't been someone as GREAT as her come along yet. "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" OMG that's the greatest album of all time, hands down!! I loved every single song on that album. Her talents are unmatched!! That's a fuk'n FACT. 🤞🏾🎯🤞🏾💯 She never fell from grace. She gave it all up, and to me that's what shows how much integrity she has and her morals!! ✅ She was so ahead of her time. The things she was singing about back then are still going on today. That album is timeless, because if you listen to it right now you couldn't tell if it was new or old. That's the thing about timeless music, and not trendy following the wave music. She music spoke to the depth of my soul. 😩💐💐💐
