    I am not sure if it just me or someone else having the same issue, sometimes my y25-30 will disconnect from my gaming laptop, and won't connect back, it basically can't be found from the laptop setting, the way to solve it, at least the only way that I found is to disconnect the powercable from the monitor to make it force shut down, then put the cable back on to reboot the monitor

    These are basically the y25-25 refreshed with a heavier oc. Heads up to anybody getting "black screen" when switching to these, it's usually a discrepancy between g-sync on the system freaking out as this monitor only has Freesync (so if your coming from a monitor with its own g-sync module the drivers try to talk to the older monitors module that is non existent on the Lenovos.).

    Hi I'm currently using the Samsung G4 but its minimal height is too high for me, so I'm looking for a replacement. I've come across this one (Lenovo Legion Y25-30) the AOC 24G2ZU/BK.
    In this video you said this Lenovo has suprisingly good HDR and is performing as one of the best in the 240 Hz class in terms of response times and input lag. The HDR component looks like a advantage over the AOC 24G2ZU/BK, which you also reviewed. Which one do you think is better?

    Samsung Odyssey G4B 24 or 27 both are @ 200 €

    Is this a good deal for £200? Also, If my games run at say 120-130 fps, is it worth me getting a 240 hz monitor for future proofing? Or would it affect my experience in any way?
    Could I set the refresh rate to 144 / 165Hz in Windows to cap it?
    Or should I just buy a 144 / 165Hz monitor?
    Thank you

      @shadowxbounce1647 Рік тому +2

      for £199 its not a bad price with its original being £300. If you are expecting to upgrade your pc in the near future it would be a good investment. You can set this monitors refresh rate to anything you see fit, 60 hz, 144 hz and so on. But, you may want to look into getting maybe a 144hz 1440p monitor for now, as your computer does not currently run at the same fps as the refresh rate of this monitor.

    • @Cryptolorian
      @Cryptolorian Рік тому +1

      @@shadowxbounce1647 I appreciate your time and response pal, I ordered the RX 6600 XT which is coming tomorrow and I have also ordered the AOC 24 inch 144 hz 1440p monitor as I need the higher refresh rate more for work as 60 hz gives me headaches scrolling.
      I will still be gaming at 1080p on the AOC 1440p monitor by setting the in-game res to 1080p, but I'll leave the refresh rate to 144 hz. I hope downscaling (if that's the correct term) to 1080p on a 1440p monitor won't make the game look too bad/blurry etc.

      Thanks. I have decided to purchase this monitor. It costs exactly 260 euros in my country. Unfortunately, my LED monitor with a TN matrix has started displaying a strange white strip at the bottom of the screen, right where the Windows taskbar ends. This phenomenon is called "image retention," and unfortunately, it bothers me a lot. I tried to burn it by playing videos on UA-cam, but it only made things worse.
