The AOC VA is my new favourite; go watch my review!
@@TotallydubbedHD hey I'm looking for a new monitor and been watching all your latest videos, but im still uncertain because u praise the AOC VA while all the other people tell me to stay away from VA panels
I'm a highly competitive player playing csgo faceit at level 10, i don't care about how the game looks I need the best monitor I can get for around 200€-350€
@@glowNINE indeed, I'd have been one of the ones to also tell you to stay away from a VA panel, up until now.
However, in your case, if you just want the fastest monitor and really don't care about anything else, look into BenQ's range of TN panels. They're still the utmost best for hardcore gamers, but it's still not what I'd recommend for 90%+ of consumers. As most use their monitors for other stuff, incl browsing the web.

280hz on this monitor is utterly stupid and it's just a marketing strategy imo.
Aside from the frame skipping issue, it is available for 30 minutes only, wt actual f?
Anw, can you compare this monitor with its predecessor, Lenovo Legion Y25-25? ty
I wouldn't recommend its predecessor but would get this (running at 240, of course).
its weird and a bit worrying how i can barely find any reviews (let alone as in-depth as this one) for this monitor, despite it sounding premium on paper. any ideas on why that is?
No idea, maybe people haven't requested it? Or they saw my review and realised that there's an issue with this monitor?
@@TotallydubbedHD i saw someone theorize it might be using the same panel as the ASUS VG259QM, which you seem to have experience with. do you think this could be the case?

The Lenovo is 225 GBP and the ASUS is 300 GBP locally, and the others are over 300. In this case, would this Legion be a recommend?

I'm considering this monitor but I'm wondering if anyone may still have some suggestions, I can get this lenovo for 230€, and I'm looking for a tradeoff between image quality and response time/ghosting (as I do some work as well as play counter strike). This monitor seems to score well in colors (especially compared to some others like the AOC 24G2ZU), and I've seen very good reponse time results from it (at 240Hz but I don't care about 280Hz so that's good for me), so to me it seems like the best deal at this price, what do you think ?
Seems decent, if you're aware of the limitations.
@@TotallydubbedHD Just to make sure, the limitations you're referring to are mainly the frame skipping issues at 280Hz and perhaps like the annoyances of the settings when selecting sRGB ? If so then yeah I'm awareof those, it doesn't really bother me.
