    Hello. I wanted to ask if you have also tested the AI features on the monitor. According to the website, they should be available starting in August. I am likely going to purchase this monitor because it perfectly fits my needs. Currently, I am using two monitors, one 4K and another high refresh rate monitor from Zowie. However, I want to reduce my setup to a single monitor, and this one seems perfect for that.

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  Місяць тому

      @@florianrubner7906 I did test the ones you'll be able to see via the OSD, but much like the crosshair functions etc, I didn't like using them. Was a bit hit and miss too, but I didn't extensively test it.
      And yeah, seems like it's a good match for you then!

    if you have to compare this monitor to the MSI MPG 271QRX 360hz, which one do you prefer for competitive gaming and work.
    And in terms of the feeling of fluidity, which one do you prefer?
    and one last question, is there a significant difference between 1440p and 4K?

    • @XeqtrM1
      @XeqtrM1 Місяць тому

      If you have no issue with your eye sight etc yes the 27 inch is the way to if your monitor is close to you if the monitor is far away than this monitor is better since it depends on distance and your second question 1440p has 3.7 million pixels and 4k has 8.3 million pixels so when it comes to clearity 4k is way better so yes of you sit close to your monitor than chose 27 inch but if you sit bit far than 32 is Way to go and sorry for my English if any more questions ask away

    A nice idea and would suit people like myself who end up going down that rabbit hole of monitor research and can't decide which to opt for. I currently use 2k 27" which for the most part is fine but then I get that urge for in your face esport sweat gaming and prefer a 24" for that. It'll be interesting to see the longevity in the simulation as I expect it to have its problems. The price is obviously high but let's be honest, they're targeting an audience which has spent over £3k on a PC to achieve 240hz on a 4k monitor to begin with.
    A top review as always Dubbed, let's see if other manufacturers follow this trend.

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  Місяць тому +1

      @@brettbradley1855 thanks for sharing, and agreed it's aimed at those who can afford it; I still think most even with top end GPUs will still struggle to output 240hz at 4K lol.

    Running the monitor in simulated 24 or 27 inch will 100% lead to a darker rectangle with said sizes permanently burned into the screen. Black bars on current OLEDs is a dumb idea.

      @@HighestDepthyou’re right, but thats exactly where the issue is. Its called inverse burn in. The parts that are showing black are not being used, while the other parts are degrading. Eventually, when in full screen, the parts that were black bars would be brighter than the rest of the screen.

      @TotallydubbedHD I'm a physical media collector. I have a ton of blu rays and 4k UHD discs in my collection. Many of these discs display 4k content in Dolby Vision which looks amazing when using an external 4k player, which I have. A monitor capable of dolby vision gives me the capability of having a full media set up at my desk with a monitor like the Alienware. Most reviewers have missed the boat on this topic and only focus on windows behavior in game. A dolby vision monitor is ideal for a dolby vision and dolby atmos set up using the Earc port.
