Back again for another Elden Ring challenge video nobody asked for.

Lmfao so I got a few comments asking if I sped up my voice in this video and I just watched it and it totally does sound like I did. I don't know if something got messed up when I was rendering or if I just really talked that fast without realizing it but I'm going to attempt to talk a bit slower in my next video 😂

Hey Tye, love the vid, just wanted to let you know in case you weren’t aware; I’m pretty sure the beast talisman and spells both scale with strength, so you’ll do the most damage with beast spells on a strength build
Gurranq's spells are so funny to me:
-dragonic spells: transforming into a dragon and using lightnings.
-godskin spells: using the fire of death
-gurranq: me angry, me trow rock

For anyone attempting this challenge I would advise going to pick up the Cinquedea dagger. As it passively boosts beastial incantations. Just put it in your off hand.
Is it better than 2 handing the seal though since that also boosts your str

I believe two-handing the beast seal actually buffs it because of the strength scaling

Fun fact: If you have another seal in your other hand, if you alternate the casting hand, it speeds up the release of the sling between 8-12% so you can get more damage in an attack cycle.
I think you can use that knife gurranq uses to further boost it too

There is a dagger called Cinqueda that you can find by parkouring out the back of the beast temple that buffs your beast incantations.

@@Xishnik94 nope, the dagger exist since the game launched, but in the 1.03 for some reason was a killbox in the way to the get the dagger, making impossible to get

Hey man, 2 bits of advice of you ever use beast incants again: 2.) Twohanding the Beast Seal increases damage, as it’s Incantation scaling is boosted by strength. And 1.) There’s a dagger that boosts damage of beast incantations by 10%, and the effect works if you have the weapon in your left hand while duel wielding the seal in your right

If you want to see something funny try bestial sling into honed bolt into black blade.
Forget the dagger, the best setup for beast incantations is running a pure faith build, casting with the erdtree seal, and holding the clawmark seal in your off hand. You get WAY more damage that way.

I would recommend getting the radagons seal in fort faroth. It's just a better version without a boss fight guarding it. Just use the teleporting chest to take you to caelid and run to fort faroth.
Can also run from Gurranq down and use the spiritspring to jump almost straight there.
Better go from Gurranq as it's closer, you just gotta run past Greyll and Putrid Avatar. It's not that bad.

What I love about beast sling is it’s more the speed than it’s raw damage that makes it good
You've earned yourself a sub my dude! The intermittent jokes throughout that sometimes seemed to come out of nowhere because of subtlety are really what made this the most enjoyable! you can jsut rush for a radagon +5 seal since it is close to a big ass dragon, besides that you can 2 hand your weapon for more dmg and parry would have been quite good for some bosses

@@rinek4268 Most incant scaling gives high faith + erdtree seal, so it doesn't matter if he carries the clawmark seal or the dagger in the other hand. What gimped his dmg was casting with clawmark.
for this build, if you go behind the beast clergyman's building. parcore down the cliffside. you can get his dagger that boosts beast incantations

@@TyeTaylor frenzy powers are FUN and you can grab some of them without having to kill anything which is a bonus.
@@julianadams3710 well, literally the basic one spell (flame of frenzy) deals really massive damage, has an AoE and costs low-to-no FP thus being the most fp-effective incantation in the entire game

I did a run close to this. I basically cosplayed a beast clergyman. It was hell during the last three bosses. But I did it and despite the hard time i had it was a fun play through.

Im pure faith build and the beast sling is actually freaking amazing in pvp. I use it when people try to heal on me. It casts very quick and does a moderate amoint of damage.
The moment I got Bestial Sling I realized that spell is a monster
Insanely fast poke tool that costs very little and can be casted from dashing or jumping? That’s a lot of flexibility you have and it’s amazing
@@muttonsword spamming it though is bad because the people you fight (if they actually have a brain) will be expecting it and will be watching your animations closely to see if you try to do it.
You do know you can charge beastclaw right? And the circular one too? Also holding it 2 handed would've uped your strength by 1.5.... oh well, good video, I like these incantations a lot
Edit: it would've also let you use it on horseback without swapping

You can't charge the circular beastclaw spell. Unless I'm doing something horribly wrong (although I don't think I can do anything wrong about holding R1/ L1).
@@TyeTaylor The cone beast claw feels a bit meh to me. It's nice to AoE down mobs with but on most bosses it's useless. Although on very large ones it can deal a double hit (not sure if you have to charge or not). The circular one feels just undertuned, can't find a use for it. Theoretically it's good when you're surrounded but when that's the case you'll likely get interrupted before you get the cast off. This is all PvE though, maybe there are PvP applications I'm not aware of.

@@rodplays3726 it says it in the loading screen tips about two handing. When you two hand, your strength stat increases by 50%, so if you have 26 strength your strength will now have plus 13 so it becomes 39. This is why two handing eases strength requirements for weapons, but not other requirements. For the claw mark seal, because it scales so heavily with strength, that extra 50% strength stat will mean your scaling for the seal increases greatly, usually around 50-75 incantation scaling points when I’ve used it. So yea, two handing seals actually does help, it just doesn’t make a difference to other seals like it does for the claw mark seal. Btw this also works with the Demi human queen staff if you wanna give that a go for sorceries.

@@rodplays3726 it doesn’t always increase damage. It increases damage more for weapons that scale better with strength, cause all it does is increase strength stat. Two handing a weapon like a regular staff wouldn’t do much, but Demi human queen staff scales with strength so it would do a lot with that.

Well technically you could summon the wolves for the black knife assassin. They constantly stagger and basically lock the assassin in place while you sit back and heal. Also if you were sadistic enough you could use the clawmark seal to strike down the next enemy with summons to get the next deathroot. The tibia mariner in Limgrave would be the weakest I'm guessing.
