TLDR:According to my calculation you can kill it
Long Answer:
Snake have 30439 hp and Rykard have 59174 hp so in total of 89613 hp. You dealing 369 damage but let you buff your character and start dealing 801 damage. His total health divided by damage you deal give us exact number of Frenzied Burst you need to cast and it is : 111 Frenzied Burst.
Each Frenzied Burst requires 24 fp but if you have Incantation Scarab it might down to 18 fp. So 18 * 111 = 1998 fp required.
With 99 mind and Cerulean Amber Medallion you can have like 500 fp with rune it can be 575. You can cast 31 Frenzied Burst before need refresh fp. But let just remove 575 from 1998 and that is 1424 fp is the fp you still need to refresh.
+12 Flask of Cerulean Tears restore up to 220 fp. If we just divide those it give us 6.4 round up to 7 Flask of Cerulean Tears. So yep you can beat it only with 7 Flask of Cerulean Tears. You welcome.
Buut let say you cant deal that much damage. instead of 801 let say you deal 500 damage. You would need 180 instead of 111 that mean 69 more frenzied burst and that mean 1242 more fp.
You were need 1998 fp before now add that extra into it. 3240 fp. Lets ignore how much fp you have so you need 14.7 or 15 +12 Flask of Cerulean Tears. But let say you just have 220 fp so you have not much mind. 3240 - 220 = 3020 fp and divide it to 220 = 14 +12 Flask of Cerulean Tears. And if you have like 440 fp than you can beat him 13 +12 Flask of Cerulean Tears.
Also also also if you have Starlight Shards it would be more easy because 1 Starlight Shards gives you 120 fp back and you can have up to 10 of them so it mean up to 1200 free fp you can use. But let say you have just 5 and even that mean 600 fp. That is like almost 3 +12 cerulean tear worthy of fp restore. Soo yep you can do it
HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE TO KILL:
Time wise it would take you up to at least 30 min to defeat it IF you able to cast 1 frenzied blast every 10 seconds. or 19 minutes if you able to cast 1 frenzied burst every 10 secons. Plus you add up times where you run away from his attack and time to drink flasks and cutscene.

RE: draconic tree boy not getting staggered.
He’s one of the bosses that immediately resets back to normal if you hit him after breaking his posture, and since flame of frenzy is a multi-hit attack, you were probably just breaking him and then immediately resetting him before could even animate falling over.

Then there Is Malenia, which can recover from medium weapons stagger immediatly and has a defensive move of jumping away.

Fun fact - howl of shabriri actually buffs your damage by a decent amount for a short time. No idea why the spell description doesn't tell you that, but it is useful for more than just a bad madness buildup.

Gotta use the black dumpling hat. It gives you 10% extra damage when you have madness buildup. So anytime you cast a madness spell it instantly buffs you
I think it only works when the madness bar is full, could be wrong tho

@@grentriz5478 ye and then the buff applies, at least when I was testing it out, kinda hard to get madness to proc when it's the main part of your build and you wear armor/talismans to increase focus. But otherwise it's not a terrible option
No, it's the same as varre's mask. You actually need to fill the whole bar and take damage from madness.
Also has one of the lowest drop rates though, so grinding it out can be a pain.

Tip for further runs! That Golem by the Draconic Tree Sentinel can actually stagger and kill the Sentinel with his arrows. Really useful if you need it

I think theres enough spells, i wish there were more madness weapons. We only have Vykes and its good but would want more.

So a little fun fact about why a lot of bosses didn't dodge or close in when you use Frenzied Burst. It's designed so it's considered FASTER than a projectile so it doesn't trigger their 'dodge the projectile' switch that they all have.

It might be possible to beat the tankier bosses with Starlight Shards that restore FP over time, but I’m not sure they’re farmable so you’d have to play well (not that that’s a problem of course).
I wish that flame face was a helmet you could get from doing that ending. Would be so cool to run around like that.

I had no idea that Mohg was almost completely immune to fire damage until I brought my RL160 character down to kill The Omen with my Blasphemous Blade that was doing over 3k damage a weapon art to most enemies, only for it to do 400 damage to him.
I was doing a pure faith build and it was doing almost 3k for me when I fought him

About the holy damage the elden beast does, there's a physick tear (Crimsonwhorl Bubbletear) that converts damage you take for a while into HP. good way to survive those homing holy missiles

Flame of frenzy was an incredible tool for my str fth build throughout the game. If you managed to fully charge, and "shotgun" a boss in close range hitting most of the projectiles, it'll posture break any boss in the game in 2-3 castings.
Easy to get very early, low stat reqs and low fp cost, cast speed noticeably improves with Radagon's icon. Its a good incantation everyone

Dude, 25 minutes felt like 3. Your videos are fucking awesome. A little tip for the Elden Beast stars move: If you can spare a flask spot, get the Crimsonwhorl Bubbletear, it will heal you for every time the little stars hit you, makes it deal zero damage.
yes and as far as I know he can only do that attack once. the patch did change elden beast a bit so his attack triggers are now a bit weird (read: we think he's completely bugged on a lot of runs)

I did grab that when I was doing the Radagon fight but I ended up switching it out for the tailsman that decreases holy damage because I was getting all sorts of fucked up and the extra speed really wasn't making much of a difference in that fight lol
