Jason, when i first started bowling, a Good Guy named Tom Kavanaugh had a pro- Shop in Yonkers, ny, and was a PBA member. Tommy told me that a bowler should know how to drill their own equipment, and that having a 200 average is not enough to go pro. I totally agree with Him. I was not too well informed on Pitches of.fingers and thumb. Hope You are Bowling Well Jason.

I turned 47 yesterday, 2-hander. The last few years I have looked into your release Belmo. I was really pushing off hard and getting low on that knee to where some days I paid for it. I decided to try more fluid and controlled....and a little higher up off the ground. It made a HUGE difference on strain, I warm up faster in practice, I'm more accurate, speed is consistently where I want in in the low 16s (house shot), and revs are actually much higher.... Yet all with half the effort now. So thanks for being on TV where I could get some ideas here lol. However, my spare game went downhill with all the changes!! I miss left a lot and need to find that new target zone for my eyes.

Jason, has there been any data.relating to injuries to 2 handed style bowlers as opposed to the one handed delivery? I am a retired bowler who gets.aches.and pains in my left knee from bowling right handed. I am wondering if the 2 handed delivery will cause back injuries in the long run?
I know that during bowling season they sometimes have games that are different from regular bowling like "strike derby". I think there should be a bowling match where all players that normally bowl 2 handed have to use just one arm and all players that normally bowl one handed have to use both arms. Another experiment I want to see is a match where all left handed bowlers have to bowl with their right hand and vice versa.
Hi belmo. I am currently in the process of going frome one handed to two handed, due to some wrist pain issues I have been having. My question is that after finding my new PAP, I still am tracking over my middle finger on some shots, not all. Any insight as to what could be causing this? I've tested a few things and have discovered that if I can remind myself to wait on the ball longer and it seems to get my track away from the fingers.
Change your finger pitches. A positive pitch in your middle finger will help you keep your hand in the right position at release. Should move your track away from your middle finger. It helped me.
Can you tell me what your thinking (going thru your mind) when you get on the approach and start your release? Especially when the pressure is high.. For me I focas on hitting my target.. I'm sure there is more to it. Thanks Ricardo

The one handed question in most cases is back handed shot at you as a two hander. Do people ask E J Tackett and back in the day, Walter Ray Williams, Norm Duke and Parker Bohm what they would average 200?

I know the big Elias Team Tournament is coming in September and I have certainly pinning my hopes on you being the the US to bowl......Once again though, I ask.......Are you coming over for the regular season when it starts? It is just not the same game without you.....Please let us know.....
