What a fine rooster. I've seen a fully grown Ayam Cemani close up as my neighbor has one. Gorgeous. Roosters don't only increase the flock, but are good at looking after the hens. They keep the flock together and look out for danger. I've also seen my rooster point to grubs and let the girls eat them, just like hens will do for chicks. You's will probably develop a full crow. Sounds like he is still finding his voice.

Watching the chickens was better than a Disney movie. It was way too fun to watch.
Now that my SOURCE-Water panels are fully saturated I average 7-10 gallons a week. They run 930 am to 530 pm and 1130 pm to 730 am for a total of 16 hours a day

Gregory Peck is a keeper. My South African bantam rooster was called Rod Stewart. Soared with eagles and had monster spurs, and fought as good as he flew.
That rooster wants to meet the girls. The hens will be jealous of each other at first but they will work out the pecking order. This is exciting.
Chickens, although lousy house pets, are exemplary yard birds. Eric Clapton was a Yardbird.

One reason why I want to leave the city is they don't allow backyard chickens. I had a flock of fifteen for a long time thinking it was okay because the neighbor had a few. Then I found out the city banned them in R1 districts, so I was in violation. I have only one hen now. I call her Clara. She's a black Australorp. She's a good gal, and quiet, but she needs a flock.
Looking forward to seeing how they ladies get along with the rooster after you let him out. I liked the broken heart, haha. How about Dark Vader?

A average rooster needs 9 or 10 hens. They can breed up to 30 times a day. If you don’t have enough hens to spread it out the rooster can cause damage to the girls.
It was nice to learn about those chickens. Theres alot to them than youd think. I say call him bucky. Love my favorite show!

I seem to remember, from high school that if you pour the distilled water between 2 jugs you airiate the water and it doesn't taste so flat.

After looking at all the names suggested by your fans, my favorite is Joe Cocker, with Gregory Peck coming in 2nd. An old relative of mine traveled with her rooster or ayam everywhere she went (including on her lap in the airplane ... before restrictions years ago), convinced he was a reincarnation of her deceased husband.

I hope you get a broody hen soon. My cousin spent about 35 years putting in rainwater catchment systems. His home was one of the first. His tank was used and a great deal but is quite oversized. When I visit, it's like taking a shower in the rain from the water smelling like rain. His systems don't add minerals IIRC but rainwater is different from distilled.
He's a beauty with all that blue on his head.

I preferred distilled water. Its such a "pure" drink. As far as roosters go, please be patient with this young guy. He's going to be upset, then territorial and seem aggressive. After a couple months, he will totally chill ( after 1 yr old). I have 7 roosters and can walk among them no problem. Congratulations on the new chicken. 🎉🎉🎉🎉 So much fun and eggs and their personalities ❤ Right now ive got 8 eggs incubating and a broody Buff Orpington on 7, all due by 10/20 and before to hatch. So exciting!! Btw, that BEAUTIFUL light on ya'll during closing was amazing 😊.

I’m a little concerned about the small hens with a larger rooster. You may need to increase your flock size up front, to keep the pressure off them. He’s a beauty, for sure. Gregory Peck. 😂 I wish you a bunch of healthy little chicks in the future.

Distilled water is very good for plants. Screws for metal roofs should have rubber gaskets to seal the hole you make in the steel. Don't flatten the rubber during installation.

But due to lacking any minerals, it will not hydrate you!

Not real chicken names but I had a Back cat that I named Mr. Lucky after an old 60s TV show. My dog's name is Clovis after a rare arrowhead. Could be Sammie Davis Jr. (His crowing sounds like he likes to sing)😊

In your video about 5:01 on the left that plant is what is called Catclaw Acacia and very poisonous if eaten by animal, just thought I would let you know that, so none of your animals would be harmed. Ayam Cemani is an Indonesian breed of chicken, and satu is number 1 in Indonesian, so call him Satu (Number 1). (pronounced something like sah - too)
Also Ayam Jantan means rooster so you could give him the name "Ayam Jantan Satu" with Satu as his nickname
BTW Ayam just means Chicken, e..g. Indonesian dish called Nasi Ayam literally means Rice Chicken, so Chicken with Rice
