Bull Dominance Day - Who Will Win?
Вставка
- Опубліковано 12 жов 2024
- Cattle breeding season is over, and today we are reuniting the herd, including our two bulls: Titus and Orden. Cattle herds have a pecking order, from the youngest calves all the way up through the bulls. Who will become the herd bosses?

I love your relationship with your cows Pete, the way they all looked up when you called them was great.
Cupboard love. ❤❤
That was delightful to see!
Truest statement ever ."people are so unaware of how things work in nature" Sadly a lot choose not to learn . Great video.
That was a great "C'mon cows" moment ❤
Titus may have won the contest but in truth we ALL know that Patty is still the Boss 😂
I love your videos Pete it makes for a perfect day, whether it's working on the Tractors and equipment, or just the everyday chores that need to be done, it's all needed and appreciated therapy for us old born & bred country bumkins, love and best wishes to You Hillary and Family from across the pond 🇬🇧 ❤️
The 6 weeks on grass did wonders for Titus
Pete and Hillary I can't tell you how much I enjoy your channel. I was born on my Grandpa's farm 78 years ago but haven't lived on a farm for decades. Your channel is such a great blend of restoration, livestock, humor, cooking and family values. I spend more time watching UA-cam videos than I do watching TV and yours is my favorite. Watching the cattle respond to your call reminds me of doing the same thing on my Uncle's milk farm...one of his pastures was on top of a hill and the cows would be out there during the day. When we went to get them for night milking it was nice to stand at the bottom and call them in without having to climb the hill to get them. Keep up the good work.
Pete needs a show on RFD tv. Id be my favorite show if he did!
When I see, Hillary smile, it absolutely warms my heart. You’re a lucky man Pete!
Thanks, Pete and Hilarie! Good day to Y'all. Good show, Titus.
Lot's of people are several generations away from the farm. Times changed since the 70s. Thank you Pete.
Your cattle are absolutely gorgeous; healthy and happy! It is so nice to see a traditional farm operation where the animals are treated with respect due a living creature instead of just a commodity. Just because animals are raised for food is no excuse to treat them callously. Thank you!
Agreed!! Humane handling of livestock is imperative!!
"The dance of dominance." Thanks Pete, see you on the next one!
You two have accomplished a lot already this year, the farm is looking great!
I enjoy all your videos Pete and Hillary. Thanks for taking us along. God Bless you all.
I got straw yesterday and we were reminded of .50 bales of straw when we were kids. The chickens love straw for fall. It is still drought here and not any rain in the future. Wish we could spread some moisture around
Always one of my favorite videos every year is bringing the bulls together. Thank you!
I love your grins, its a farmers life. Better than TV.
I loved this so much..can’t believe how fast time flew by. Seems just like yesterday you guys were setting up the chickens on the field!! Thanks for sharing Pete this was wonderful!!🥰
I always get a kick watching, "Release of the Klucken!"
Always amazed how easy going your bulls are with you. Thanks Pete
I am too! The farms I used to work at that had bulls I was warned to keep my distance......and I did. They were unpredictable and saw what they were capable of when one had a "bad day"
Yay Titus! Can't believe it's been a year
Pete enjoyed your video. I like watching the cattle and how they establish the pecking order. Thank you for sharing your farm with us. Have a great week.
Cows are extremely underrated. I never knew cows had actual personalities until I watched this channel. It is amazing how much cows have contributed to humanity over the centuries. They are extraordinary animals. It wish all cows could have the pleasant life they seem to have on Pete's farm.
Pete and Hillary I enjoyed watching your beautiful happy cattle 🐄 enjoying themselves in the new pasture. Thanks!
Beautiful farm, and livestock! Love the pace of your videos and lifestyle. Can’t wait to see the restoration of your International pickup. I agree, preserve the patina of the paint finish on the cab and bed. Looking forward to seeing the next video of you and Hillary.
What a comfortable visit. Thanks for sharing. Be well.
I absolutely love that you can step into a field, yell "come on cows" and they immediately start running towards you
Nice job Titus! WTG Nice to see you back on top. Orden, hang in there bud!
Nothing more permanent then a temporary fix. You needed some popcorn, a drink and an easy chair while watching the bulls. Farm entertainment.
Good morning Pete and Hil - have a fantastic day!!!!
Nature is truth. Mornings are always better with Just a Few Acres Farm video! Thank you.
Thanks to Pete and Hillary for all the awesome videos. So relaxing and enjoyable. We appreciate y'all!! 🇺🇲💪
I'm really impressed with your editing .
your a great host and presenter you have really fine tuned your videos the're really something I look forward to every week
Thank you Pete and god bless you and your family
Thank you!
Nothing like going outside to feed all the animals and see they love the man that feds them ...I miss that
Another great video, Pete. Always enjoy the bull dominance sparring match. Fields still look good for time of year were in. Always enjoy the Sunday morning videos. Have a great start to your week.
I’m Team Titus, so YAY Titus! I was so sad when he lost last year and I’m happy he redeemed himself this year. I think he had an edge over Orden because he was out on pasture - he got more exercise and maybe packed on some extra weight from eating fresh grass.
The boys having fun..winner buys the beer
Happy Bull Battle Day Pete and Hillary! Thanks for sharing your adventure and your life on Just A Few Acres.
The Chickens love to state theirs opinions too.. lol 😆!!
I can't believe it's been another year! Geez, time just flying by!
Great video and thanks for the update on your projects. Take care and I'll see you later.
I think this is my 3rd or 4th watching the bulls battle. Always a pleasure to see. So cool how the entire herd has to figure things out. Pecking order. Love it!
I Love that you show us true life happenings on the farm. Thanks
Thanks and have a blessed day
Your videos bring a smile to my face, thank you
Always love bull day! I missed seeing more of the chickens this year so I was happy to see them in this video!
M'be it took Titus one year of not being on top to teach him to have a little empathy for his brother. He seemed to want to follow Ordin and almost check on how he's doing. Always a pleasure to see the herd reunite and sort out their pecking order. God bless you both in your efforts.
Great dad joke. Dave loves to see Hillary smile. So really we want to say we Love seeing how farm life is with the old ways. pure simple and natural. We were charring for Titus this year . Because he took the loss so hard last year. You could really see it in his posture for the season. He showed such empathy, and compassion for Orden after the challenge. He followed him as to say come back you don't need to leave we will do it together. I missed you. The sweet little baby that was being friends with Orden in the barn was such a beautiful thing. Animals are so wonderful. Thanks again for sharing with us. We look forward to each and every one of your videos. You are top of the list. You might not get this but it's the level anticipation to see what's up is the same as the old TV show of yester year. Happy days, ect.
I always enjoy watching the bulls coming together. Thank you for sharing this vlog with us. Take care !
Thanks Pete and Hillary!
Pete, I love your videos..
Just keep doing what you are doing.
Love it!
Every year we enjoy putting our rams together and its an experience to watch.
These "Bullfighting" vids are among my favorites.
Nice to see the cattle reacting to your voice 😁 . Never heard two bulls growl and grumble as much as those two . I’m kind of missing Billy the pig . Great video Pete and always nice to see Hilary’s smile . God Bless
It's difficult for some people that did not grow up on a farm that there is a pecking order within all species, and these animals are not pets, but food and will someday be slaughtered. I use the line, "You're confusing this farm with a petting zoo." Some get it, some never will.
Gosh, that is some gorgeous pasture.
Best video of the year. The excitement is enjoyable to see.
You and Hilary are having a great time watching the cows.. lol 😆!!
My husband and I love your videos from Southern Indiana. I understand it’s not not animal cruelty. It’s just like they’re two big guy friends doing an annual arm wrestling match! Also your joke had me rolling. 🤣🤣🤣
Thankyou Pete and family for the content
The cows are never afraid to state their opinions.. lol 😆!!
Garnish his wages…now that’s funny! 😆
My daily dose of pete greatness has been took i am dreaming trough your journey has an enthousiast mechanic and my own dream of little scale farm like yours… quality and pride into your work amaze me… that sweet way of living with the nature and animals we see that trough the camera thats also amazing take care pete and thanks a lot sharing your journey
Mornin Steve and Hilarie, its cool down here in Carolina too 50 degrees this morning, yall got a fine looking herd 2 nice bulls, hope yall have a good weekend enjoyed the video👍👍
I look forward to this every year.
This is one of my favorite videos of the year. Always look forward to it!
Thanks Pete
Pete, are you telling us the AC and heated seat isn't working on the tractor ? That's shocking 😮 Best wishes from England UK 🇬🇧
I’m from Wisconsin and I enjoy watching your videos about how you farm in New York.
Yall sure accomplish a great deal of preparations for winter. This was very interesting video!
Boy your work never ends does it?
Thanks for posting Pete
Loved the video!!!! Thanks.
It amzes me how easily your tractors fire up from being so well tuned. Nice.
I agree, Titus should be the winner for a change!
Believe it or not, these two bulls are socializing ( natural thing ). Plus, keeping them on a routine makes for a safe environment, for handling. All your cowsa look great!!!
Pete and Hilary, thank you for the wonderful fall video , There's always a pecking order amongst all animals . It's part of the wonders of nature. Looking forward to the rebuilt of the old International Harvester Farm Truck in early 2025.
I enjoy all the videos. Gives me something to do while I recover
Titus looks tanned, buff and ready to Rock and Roll
A temporary, permanent gate! I have a couple of those!
I sure miss the Fall in the northern regions. For me it was northcentral PA. I moved to FL with my wife after being snowbirds for 4 years. I thought I was ready to go down to keeping up just one house. I don't miss the work and anxiety of keeping up two homes but I really regret my decision. My wife loves it down here so there is little chance of returning north.
It kind of depresses me that the last years of my life will be spent in a geographic area I really do not like. I was always an outdoors person and enjoyed the solitude of being in the woods, especially in the Spring and Fall. I thought my body would acclimatize to the weather down here but it hasn't so if I do even a small amount of exertion outdoors I become drenched in perspiration. Consequently, I spend a lot more time indoors. This is not what I envisioned for the "golden" years of my life.
Thanks for the videos of your small farm. It so reminds me of my youth working on one or more of the small farms that used to dot the landscape where I grew up in PA. Many of them are gone now.
I love the annual bull release videos!
My third year watching this event go down on your farm from southwest Florida.
I'm not sure I would let my chickens watch Oprah. I'm afraid it might leave a fowl (see what I did there?) taste in the eggs! I love your channel and never miss an episode. God bless your farm and family.
I always look forward, to the annual bull competition 👍
0:06 good morning. Chris from Poland Maine..
Love your Channel Pete . It’s so sad that you have to explain nature to people who are so far removed to the idea where food comes from . Everything in the wild so to a farm has a pecking order . Even the chickens if they see a wounded or hurt bird they won’t stop till it’s gone to protect the health of the flock . Loved the updates and there’s something soothing about cows eating grass ! lol
Titis had 6 weeks of exercise and Ordin had two less years….🖤🧡 I too wanted Titus for the “win” this year.
The season of 2024 is coming to a closure soon. I'm expecting a rather cold winter but we shall find out soon. I would say keep hammering on the projects and they will be done eventually. Ofc it's slow for us the viewers but you can't rush certain things.
Happy to see the yearly bull competition :)
Great video Pete. I always enjoy them.
Outstanding video. Fall is here and winter is right around the corner. 👍🇺🇸🚜👏🏻
I'm from Ireland and I enjoy ur videos so much
I look forward to the bull show each year.
Gordon really wants some attention, the lady kind...of course the cows are expressive too.
Interesting seeing the pecking order being established.
Hey ya Pete, soon it will be time to do that winter thang again. At least you won't have to deal with frozen hoses as much as in the past.
Love your video! Beautiful fall there
Titus had to reclaim his crown after last year
It never ceases to amaze me that you get people complaining about farm life!! are they really that ignorant? you'd think they would ""Google" it before complaining about something they know nothing about!. But then in hind sight even thought I've been on and around farms for over 70 yrs of my 81 yrs there is still stuff for me to learn also. so I'll give them the benifit of the doubt. Oh! yes the other thing was that Ordin and Titus had one thing in common!! they both had "Poop butts" so they shared that in today's contest. Looking forward to all thei upcoming garage engine/tractor what ever work to come love that part a little bit more! but that's just me. thanks for sharing Pete and Hillary great stuff always God speed. ECF
Happy Sunday ya'll 😊 🐂🐃
Best video of the year. Love the bull battles Pete! 😀 Titus needs to redeem himself
Another great video, Busy Day on the Farm!
Looks like you may be in need of another barn expansion to house your growing tractor collection! They all look great.
