You’re not gonna believe this but I’ve been watching your channel to practice dead tunes for about a year and a half now and funny enough there was a guy in one of my classes at Clemson University exactly one year ago with a fender t shirt on. We ended up being put together with 2 other guys to work on a semester long project. Turns out his name was Jack Devine I’m not even kidding you at all. I told him I noticed his shirt a while back and told him I played guitar too and then told him about your channel and how you had the same name as him and I’m sure he thought I was BS’ing him but he was shocked😂
I've been watching your videos and am blown away by the depth of the analysis of the songs and guitar theory. I'm 61 years old and have noodled around on guitars for over 45 years, never getting real good. Your videos have inspired me to finally take some actual guitar lessons, mostly so I can better understand some of what you're showing in your videos. I also like the sound you get with your black Strat, particularly on the "Tangled Up In Blue" video you did a couple years ago. Have you ever done a rundown on your rig and how you get the tones you get with your setup? I'd be grateful if you have a video you could direct me to. Thanks again for the all the great instruction. K.C.
@@kcclem1442 Hi KC! Thanks bud…much appreciated. My rig is no big secret. My Strat is a USVRI from 87. It’s been refretted with 6100 frets and DiMarzio VV pickups (Heavy Blues/Blues/Solo) My amp is a Kemper profiler and I use the top Jimi deluxe reverb profile with some EQ and a little dirt courtesy of the onboard TS9 emulation. Add reverb and delay to taste.
