I really enjoy your videos. We planted a Desert King two years ago and today I harvested 9 brebas (first harvest from this tree). We live in McMinnville Oregon and this summer heat has contributed to MASSIVE growth. So excited for next year’s brebas!
I hope your family is well and that you’re able to continue making videos, as I’m eagerly waiting for the next!

Hey very nice fig selection! We are now picking our desert king fruits! Sooo good! It’s in the ground and about 25 years old. We’ve had some thunderstorms here last couple of days and rain which has come just at the wrong time, as we’ve been bone dry since the end of May. I’m hoping it won’t start blowing open the figs! I have a fig thief to! He’s 2 and a half!😂 all the best. Chris

Ben, I would love to see you do a video on the various varieties you have, I know it is many. Those that do well in Western Washington, and those you would put in ground if you had room. Thanks!

Zavia Hope Thomas you should visit his blog if you haven't already. He has a table listing the taste and productivity of the varieties he is growing.

First video I watched this morning. I had bad carpal tunnel attacks last night. So does that tape really work?

What's the reason for growing figs in the pot? Would its grow bigger inthe ground, and
    Get alot more fruits?

Should main crop figs that won't ripen be left on a desert king?

if it is in ground, why would you leave the main crop? I'm just trying so soak up all the info I can

plenty of nutrients to soak up from the ground but on long hot summers you may get an edible main crop DK. Its not as good but edible

Rat Route, I picked off all the figs that wouldn’t be edible before winter came, not sure if it was right oro wrong... My best producer, most delicious and our favorite was brown turkey. There are desserts you can make with green figs.
