They have water down to get the tires wet to do a burn out....but at at a drag strip you roll through the water stop and then do your burn out....the water has nothing to do with keeping control of the car...it's just makes it easier to do the burn out....and makes no smoke and makes burnouts boring to watch...you want to see real burnouts watch Australia guys do burnouts....
That Hurst Cutlass is my dream car. But any of these in my garage would be just fine lol. Thanks for keeping Auto Industry legends on the road everyone. Without you I wouldn't enjoy my life lol.
Hello, my name is Jesus, and manage a fanpage on Facebook called "Chevy fans". I've seen your video and I'd like to share it. I'm asking for your permission since I'wouldn't like to violate the copyright on it. Hope you let me share it. Thank you in advance!
Your telling me this man is the old Chevy pick up did a burn out, rolled coal just to shorten the injectors life, took more tread out of the white walls? I fucking love this country.
Benjamin Thomas lol there are more people in this spot than any other. Burnout in a 2000 pound car with people 20 feet away behind a wooden fence.? Wow. Not safe at all.
madsexymanofthenight Chevy definitely made a 302 for the first generation Camaro it was designed to meet the 305 cubic inch requirements of the SCCA TRANS AM race series,in which it was very competitive and successful. They achieved 302 cubic inches by combining the 3" stroke of a 283 and the 4" bore of a 327 and there you have it now you know something new.The Ford Boss 302 was also designed for SCCA TRANS AM racing and offered in 69 and 70 but was substantially different than the standard 302 Windsor both Ford and Chevy conservatively rated the 302 's at 290 horsepower actual numbers were around 375 with Chevy offering several performance upgrades including off road camshafts and even a cross ram intake manifold for 2 4 barrel carbs which wood get you a lot closer to 500 horsepower I believe Ford made substantially less of the 302's than GM if memory serves me Ford made around 600 both years...
Still Available I agree this is what a lot of people go for is to see the departures, plus this is the safe way plus you dont have to worry about the cops.
OMG everybody....lets get this all in the right catagories.....first, there is a WORLD of difference between how the aussies get down compared to the americans. Two totally different kinds of party. There are ppl in America who get down like the aussies do but the overwhelming majority do straight line burnouts. Don't ask me to explain cuz I cant. Aussies party pretty hard, i'll give them that. Second, a ''water box'' at a drag strip is there to make it easier for cars with SLICKS to do just enough burnout to clean off the junk and warm them up WITHOUT making it harder than it needs to be, less wear and tear on parts. (try doing a burnout on a dry sticky surface covered with rubber on a 90 degree day while wearing slicks). Street tired cars really shouldn't need ANY water at all, unless the car is a pooch....so, what you really have is a technique used by spectators of car shows and cruise nights to basically lay out some water, which says to the drivers, ''please do a burnout here''....totally part of the car culture and is an accepted practice. But just a little gets the job done.
That's awesome but by no means legal in any sense of the word!, and as always remember the edge of the pavement will stop the car dead in it's tracks so you are safe for the car hurling at you as long as you stay off the pavement!
None of those cars needed water to help them, plus it made them slide around and the brakes wouldn't hold very well. Plus, it makes it so there isn't as much smoke. Don't use water!
Oh man, that blue Chevy Jailbar ute was awesome, what a shame someone ruined it with a stinking rotten diesel boat anchor. Such a shit burnout too. A decent small block would have even destroyed the wet roads better AND would have been so much faster in a race. I just don't get this whole diesel craze, it's not a craze in Australia- we want cars that are fun to drive
Lol as long as they are legal! Lol I like a burnout as muchas the next guy as long as I'm the doing them but to sit and watch? Nope just makes me wish I was in my car.
I think it's great to smoke - burn out your tire's but I see a safety issue here. We've all have watched some dumb asshole leave and ride right into people.
what's funny is if these clowns like burnouts so much why not just go to their local drag strip and stand at the starting line. I gurantee a burnout every time a car comes up.
less water would have been better...and by less I mean none...
that's how accidents happen
there sitting on one spot doing burnouts....if you crash doing that then you should park your ride....
I think there's a reason why they use water at the drag strip in the burn out box
I agree there was to much water
I love mucle cars no computer in them easy work on
That Hurst Cutlass is my dream car. But any of these in my garage would be just fine lol. Thanks for keeping Auto Industry legends on the road everyone. Without you I wouldn't enjoy my life lol.
That blue chevy pick up sounded hella good
Justin Furey It was running an LS engine
yeah fucking awesome sounding
flow master 2012 ram 1500
I loved the hurst olds after it
sounds like a cummins
Are you wetting the tires or filling a swimming pool? wow way too much water
I liked the Maverick, Fox body Mustang , 69 Camaro and the 1st truck . ✔
pretty bad when the best burnout is a lifted diesel
Cory Kluthe too much water for other cars
Well a burnout has nothing to do with power. My 200hp mustang would do a bigger burnout than a anything in here
Frrr
Damn that blue chevy c10 was beautiful
Now that's a nice car show, very nice rides
third gen did us a proud one!!
Ya she did, Cummins ftw
Yes always beware of a Blue Camaro.
@@curtiscamaro5926 i think he ment the truck
Ted s nah he meant the 3rd gen Camaro
A 4 cylinder Fiat would do a burnout in water. What is the attraction here? OG car guys like me are all laughing at this.
Dennis Leone Water saves the tires a little, if you know what I mean
I’m not a ford guy but that was one sweet maverick
Oldsmobile Hurst? Hot damn

Sounds good
Rolling coal and A burnout lol. Now that's how to piss off gasoline enthusiasts lol.

Thanks man
Your telling me this man is the old Chevy pick up did a burn out, rolled coal just to shorten the injectors life, took more tread out of the white walls? I fucking love this country.
im going with the black cummins
All day
Too much water, probably the only complaint.
The IROC Representing use Well. always Beware of a Blue Camaro.
I'm all about the Chevy's, but the black Cummins took home the prize in my eyes!
best idea ever give them a place to do burnouts legally keep them safe and put on a show.
Benjamin Thomas lol there are more people in this spot than any other. Burnout in a 2000 pound car with people 20 feet away behind a wooden fence.? Wow. Not safe at all.
PRANKurFACE do you walk around in bubble wrap?
Best part of the shows for sure! I was part of the world record at bandamier in Colorado! That was a burnout! 177 cars at once!
awesome. Where was this at ??
L L It's at a river lot community in Falling Waters West Virginia.
Spectate at your own risk. Those drivers prolly ain't giving it all they got for worrying about hurting those people being that close up
2:52 dude signalling to drop the burnout is left hanging by that Camaro driver hahah
Where was this car show at
Riverbend Campground in Falling waters WV
Loved your video! Thx
That blue pro stock camaro is how every car should sound.
Awesome!
but sure I'd wanna be that close just in case somebody actually hooked up and drove into the crowd though.
Exactly!! Can you say lawsuit!!!!
No such thing as a legal burnout on a public road lol they are all exhibition of speed tickets waiting to happen haha but still fun!!!
what if it's a private road?
What show was this?
everetward Annual labor day sunday show at Falling waters WV private campground.
too much water... unimpressive
I really like the car @ 2:44 sounds and looks good and the burnout @3:48 and definitely some badass looking cars on here
The Oldsmobile Hurst was the best burnout with the Dodge truck coming in a close 2nd
Skips corvette....we all skip corvettes!

Wrong, Chevy had a 302, it was in the z28 camaro.
madsexymanofthenight
www.holisticpage.com/camaro/camaros/302.htm
read some more please.
NOOTHER 69 in the 60s it was the 327. the 302 was the boss engine for the ford .
madsexymanofthenight Chevy definitely made a 302 for the first generation Camaro it was designed to meet the 305 cubic inch requirements of the SCCA TRANS AM race series,in which it was very competitive and successful.

Liked and thumbs Up !
Was that a Mavrick at 4:03??

They should really set something like this up at most shows
Still Available I agree this is what a lot of people go for is to see the departures, plus this is the safe way plus you dont have to worry about the cops.
Hotrodlife yeah the fucking cops
Still Available Alot of times people dont do shit because of the cops
what is it with u guys and water haven't u worked it out yet the more water u put down the less smoke u get
bootn13 exactly
C-10 Chevy trucks. Who ever would have thought back in the 60's and 70's that these trucks would be so damned desirable today?
I know they are nice trucks, i see them more and more all the time.
OMG everybody....lets get this all in the right catagories.....first, there is a WORLD of difference between how the aussies get down compared to the americans. Two totally different kinds of party. That's awesome but by no means legal in any sense of the word!, and as always remember the edge of the pavement will stop the car dead in it's tracks so you are safe for the car hurling at you as long as you stay off the pavement!
That Cummins got it.
There was another one that blew both tires, i just wasnt recording at that time.
First truck looks like a 69 Chevy i used to own.. miss that truck
Them old fox body 5.0s are always good for a nice tire boiler.
I guess that's a car show comprised of some pretty competent people. nobody got ran over.
Lots of rare cars. Don't hardly ever see the old Mavericks anymore
Really..... You had to use water?
None of those cars needed water to help them, plus it made them slide around and the brakes wouldn't hold very well. Plus, it makes it so there isn't as much smoke. Don't use water!
wow that blue camaro
The best part was when Barney Fife came to the burnout box.
anybody have any info on that chevy at 0:39 ?
pontiac justin it was running a single turbo cummins in it
pontiac justin yeah .the driver is shit.
project.ratrod on instagram.
Seen it there no clue.
A buddy of mine has a 64 impala ss 409 and he loves to light the tires on it coming pit of the highschool parking lot
James Price Hell that's the best way to leave school
Looks more like beer and soda. That's fucked up.
Damn, ever 2 or 3 cars someone throws a bucket of water. Stop with the damn water!!!!
Nothing is better than American Muscle 😎
Pretty cool, but not much room for error with all those bystanders so close.
Car at 2:45 was best!!!!!

The diesel truck was the best! Black smoke!! Poor people. Lol!
That Chevy is fucking amazing
Troy Kidwell which one?
God bless America y’all ✌️
We're going to need it when it costs $100 a day to wake up of a morning.
Oh man, that blue Chevy Jailbar ute was awesome, what a shame someone ruined it with a stinking rotten diesel boat anchor. Such a shit burnout too. Many a bad decision is made when people are clapping and cheering 😂
that black dodge was the best damnnnnnn😂😂😂
haha that was the best!!! that was my burnout.
how embarrassing. middle school comp.
these cars don't need water to do a burnout
Enough water there to fill a swimming pool
Power braking doesn't really equal a burnout...
Grandmother got blacked haha poor lady
Seems awful risky doing those burnouts with spectators so close on both sides
It’s ok princess
Nice!!
water box training. roll THROUGH the water THEN do a burnout. not in the water.
Errr...likely not the venue for your Prius owner.
Tf?? That's too much water
Lol come to Australia we'll show you how to smoke tyres
The best one was the 2 last utes
Yep, burn'em till the wheels fall off!
Lol as long as they are legal! Lol I like a burnout as muchas the next guy as long as I'm the doing them but to sit and watch? Nope just makes me wish I was in my car.

0:01 and who says a tunnel ram has no low end torque? 😂
Hell it has a 5000RPM stall converter.
people love burnouts.....look how many there are screw safety ......
Omg love the 442
