I found your video very interesting. I've been studying double stars (read) but haven't had the opportunity to observe them yet. Could you please explain how you made the appointment and registration of these stars in your video? Do you have any mechanism that connects the sky safari to your telescope, making you locate them in the sky? thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Hi Evaldo, thank you for your comments. I have a list of double stars in Sky Safari (under the search button) or you can refer to the Cambridge Double Star Atlas. To record the stars, I simply put a DSLR in the focuser and recorded a short video. Before I bought my camera, I used a notebook and pencil (much cheaper!). And yes, I control my telescope through Sky Safari. Prior to buying that, I star hopped and learned my way around the sky.
