It’s not a good feeling, but it’s necessary.

I could rewatch psycho the birds rear window countless times in my lifetime starting at age 11- the master of suspense lives up to his name as a director - Deliverance is suspenseful but I think I am still more traumatized by the content and how it’s presented than any rewatchable Hitchcock film. what Deliverance is saying is that nature doesn’t matter, whether your location is nature or the city it is just a backdrop for what is the real problem, humanity. It works on similar levels of suspense in that our assumption of beauty nature serene settings juxtaposed with violence rape horrific human evil really shocks the conscience but unlike the suspense of Hitchcock it’s more raw, rabid and unsettling which is why I can’t rewatch it bc I don’t desire to feel those feelings the first time I watched it but I know I appreciated I did watch it and thought it was remarkable

Start with rear window - my fav- I don’t know if as an adult I would have the same appreciation as I do for his films now seeing as I started watching them as young as 10-11 bc my parents always picked the movie for us to see. At a young age it steadily built a keen sense of story telling appreciation and suspense. It was normal for us to comprehend and appreciate his films and love them so much at a very young age that I’m not sure considering how media movies and videos are consumed in 2024 someone older would develop and have the same sensibilities- my gut says in this era the majority of the adult population is too stimulated and dopamine driven they’ve mostly lost the sense of carefully, elongated story building in movies like Hitchcock’s films. But hopefully people new to his films can find similar love for them despite the fast changing landscape of how we consume film and media

He died in it but had presold it to someone for the crazy low amount of $1.5 million with the deal that he could live in it for free until he passed. Whoever bought it didn't tear it down like I thought they would. Burt was an overly generous guy and was easily taken advantage of which is why he went broke at least twice. He was ok in the end, not totally penniless but based on what he made in the 1970's he would have probably have been close to a billionaire had he just kept it in an S&P 500 fund.

You should turn your back on your kids when they're in there teens & 20's and learn to not care and then start a new life for yourself with another lady, otherwise, if you stay around, you will be sad when your kids turn their backs on you.... When they're grown up in their 30's, they should be wise enough to let go of their reasons for hating you and things could become content again, and I say it would be alright to visit them every now & then.
You’ve positioned “ those “ kids very well. How Narcissistic of you. Children are forever not a dump and run job when they need you the most. Children need a father at this most precious time. Formulating their way from child to teen to early adulthood. You need to be around a community of Real Men to see that. I got my family back in 2017 when President Trump unified the "good people" of America, and considering my family & myself are all good people in general, we decided to reunite and be a family again.... It's all the "ev1l, b@d & stpd" people in our country that didn't unite... and now here it is 2024, and I still have my family despite the horrendous economy & violence from the Dem/Lib Tyranny Regime, but my family is still together and we all talk about wanting President Trump back again.

You should turn your back on your kids when they're in there teens & 20's and learn to not care and then start a new life for yourself with another lady, otherwise, if you stay around, you will be sad when your kids turn their backs on you.... When they're grown up in their 30's, they should be wise enough to let go of their reasons for hating you and things could become content again, and I say it would be alright to visit them every now & then.

I got my family back in 2017 when President Trump unified the "good people" of America, and considering my family & myself are all good people in general, we decided to reunite and be a family again.... It's all the "ev1l, b@d & stpd" people in our country that didn't unite... and now here it is 2024, and I still have my family despite the horrendous economy & violence from the Dem/Lib Tyranny Regime, but my family is still together and we all talk about wanting President Trump back again.
