The ND 64 still looked great and even the ND 128 still looked good (although a touch too dark).
As for the snow mist filter, I feel like its takes it a bit too much. I think I prefer it without. BUT I do enjoy the CPL filter with the extra saturation and richness.
Great video , well done ! So you think it is better to purchase the freewell set than the official dji set of three filters for pocket3 ?
I have these. The best demonstration of the proper use that has been completed.
Everything about this video is great. The footage itself, the information you provided, your A/B demonstration and even the music is spot on. Excellent work🙂
Glad it was helpful!
Something I've noticed with ND filters on action cameras is that they cause micro jitters when moving. It is especially bad in lower light. I believe it's caused by the electronic image stab. The Pocket 3 isn't an action camera, but have you noticed any of that?
Hi there! Thanks for sharing about this on action camera. On DJI picket 3, vlogging and filming it was smooth, no jitter was experienced when filming
Thanks for this video, does the gimbal head close with these filters mounted?
Number 1 UA-cam demonstration the only one that I'll need to watch 😊
Love your film style too ❤
Subbed ❤
Thankyou !!
@@kojivisuals you're welcome anytime I look forward to more ☺️❤️
You really have a great style. I love the comparison scenes, really well done.
Thanks sir !!
Did you have problem closing the gimbal when you stacked the nd and cpl filters together? Wondering if I should just get the ND/PL filters instead 🤔
My dawg said "Lets get cinematic". Bro instantly turned Sigma mode on ahaha. Appreciate the comprehensive breakdown, homie.
Thank you for the great video and information! Greetings from Guatemala 🇬🇹
Thanks for watching ! Greetings from malaysia !
like your demonstrations how to use these filters and understand more... Tks.
Are these ND filters really necessary? I guess We can get those effects by post processing. Maybe the 2x telephoto lens is much more useful than the ND filters.
Thank you. you demonstrated the workings of the filters very well.
Thanks for the great video. Anyway, can get your hands on the vnd for the pocket 3? Worried about the X pattern.
Well explained Bro, thank you!
I wonder why they haven’t made an anamorphic for the pocket 3 yet? I love freewell, great company and great customer service
neewer makes an anamorphic filter for the osmo pocket 3. I found it on amazon yesterday. It's a pack of 4 filters (available in amazon France and maybe worldwide). I was looking for a test of this anamorphic filter when I found this video.
Thanks for video! Was very informative !
Saya nak beli tapi Bukan baru, nak beli second hand saja la☹️
I want my pocket 3 lenses to face outwards upon turning it off when the ND filter is on. Do you know how to do it ?
can i try to Dji Osmo Pocket 2?
Can you stack the mist filter with the ND filters?
Wow 🎉
Wow, can you show how you color grade osmo pocket 3 videos ?
Awesome video!
Saya pun dekat awak😹
hi! is there a difference in using only the ND and the nd with cpl with no rotation of it...without taking out the glare? thanks
Hey, there is no difference or not noticeable at all. But once we attach the ND, we cannot attach another cpl on top of it. To do that we need to use the ND+CPL filter
which filters do you use most often?
Mist filter it is 😁
Thank You very much !
Nice video ❤
What would be perfect, is if they made wide angle ND filters! cos that's what I need for my filming 😭
i will buy only 3. 16/64/256 it will be enough. Thank you for the video!
Hi! can you use this with the wide angle lens adapter? thanks
Hi, for the wide angle lens, you cant attach the freewell filter on top of it. It wont stick on top it.
I want that pack
What tripod are you using for your pocket 3
hi, it is the osmo action extension grip comes with the dji DJI action 4 combo
Nice video
There is no exposure tools on the pocket 3. How do you know you have the correct exposure while in manual mode? Trust the screen? This needs to be an easy to use no hassle camera, I really don't understand the need for that much motion blur.. If you are doing videos for family or UA-cam it really doesn't matter.. No one really cares.. If you are doing for professional work.. Than I think you should buy a proper camera already :) What's the point I still can't understand
Good point, thanks for your comments !
this thing produces a high quality image for its price and its size/weight, equivalent in a lot of situations, compared to many expensive and heavy cameras. I mean it will not replace my sony full frame but in tricky situation like small space, vlogging, studio presentation it's impressive. The tracking is really convenient and the autofocus work really well. I mean its almost plug and play. The workflow to set my sony on my dj RSC2 and handle the whole thing 1 or 2 hours.. My only regret: just one focal (20mm) and a digital zoom.
You ask "What's the point...". The point of 180 degree shutter speed (i.e. 1 over twice the frame rate, or for 25 FPS, 1/50 sec shutter speed) is that it renders video that looks the most natural. In contrast, much faster shutter speeds look artificial and fake because moving objects "stutter" across the image in relatively sharp focus. They draw the eye in a distracting way. If you don't care about these distractions, then use whatever shutter speed you want. But most videographers will want to create videos with the least number of artifacts and distractions so that the quality of the subjects and production shine through.
Something that also helps is when you use manual exposure, you can lock the shutter speed and set it to use an ISO range. As long as you’re familiar with cameras and filming (probably most of the people who would use the manual exposure), you would be able to see the signs of potential over exposure. Combined with the 10 bit log color profile, there’s some wiggle room, at least for a camera of it’s size and convenience. Just my take on it though 🤷♂️
If you use 50 fps, you need 1/50 shutter speed to get 180 degree motion blur. It's not x2 anymore like in 24 fps. The x2 is used on film cameras because there's no 50 fps cameras in the older days. Look it up on youtube because it has been tested.
