Thanks mate! Really appreciate the comment and super keen to grow the channel and explore some wicked places along the way. Got some good content in the works and catch wait to share more 😃
Fantastic fishing trip with some very nice cod caught. Well done. That rain definitely looked hard work and made for a few challenges with capturing video. 😅 Keep it up and I'll definitely be back watching! 🤠👏
Thanks mate! Really appreciate comments like this. Will definitely keep producing them while people are enjoying the vids. The rain ended up a blessing in disguise I think, not sure we would’ve had as much success without it.
I just stumbled across this!.. BOYS! what a cracken job! I'm a week out from driving through the NSW Southern tablelands, got me pumped to try Land my first Cod, great job narrating also. this is refreshing!
Boys cracking video i cant wait to get back out there and cruise along the river. Not far from home so its aweosme to see some good fishing out there being done. Yet to catch a cod there had a few hits but nothing hooked up unfortunately. Keep it up lads was a pleasure to watch
Mate get out there! definitely some good fishing to be had, especially this time of year in the cooler months where the big fish become more likely. Thanks for the comment.
Really enjoyed watching this vid, being the first one of your vids I have watched. You guys do a fantastic job, genuine quality and I am sure you develop a strong and growing subscriber base. Was this filmed in the upper reaches of the Macquarie River?
Hi mate, really glad you enjoyed. Hopefully! Would love to keep producing and growing, also enjoying slowly honing in on quality while keeping it real. I don’t normally specify exact locations on the video mainly out of respect for the local fisherman of the area and understanding that UA-cam is a global audience, those who’ve been there will recognise and you might be on the right track 🤠
Fabulous trip!....Fabulous fish!...Hey, what was the make of your pack rafts?...we used to make our own from Clark Rubber inflatable kayaks which were covered in shade cloth which made them bullet proof! Also, you should invest in some thermal shirts...they'll keep you warm no matter how wet you get - we quickly learnt that on previous pack rafting trips. Have you done the Colo River? Wild country and fabulous bass water... and I've heard of the odd cod being caught there too!
Hi Andrew! That’s very impressive, you guys must’ve been pioneering the way for modern rafts without realising 😅 so my raft is the gnarwhal and Juan’s raft is the Kokopelli XPD. Both great for our purposes. The colo is a trip I’ve been looking forwards to for a while and hoping to get through there in the summer if weather and river heights permit 🤞 definitely keen to try to catch some colo bass it looks wild through there!
That is certainly gods country. if only I was young enough to do this. Thanks for the journey. P.S Milo on the wheet bics that's a new one and I'm 59. never see that.
It absolutely is! Glad you enjoyed. I was waiting for someone to comment on the breakfast! I’ve been at the Milo on weetbix my whole life! It should be an Australian delicacy.
awesome dudes. ur channel came across my feed n i gave u a shot, pleased i did. do the same trip in spring, pending water height n quality. will be watching the other vids. keep doing wat u r doing but keep it simple with no yelling n shouting. it seems to happen wen a channel starts to grow n the music gets louder n more crap. super young dudes out doing these adventures, awesome.
Hi mate, thanks for the comment and feedback. Glad you enjoyed the vid and keen to improve the videos with more experience, hard to hold back the passion but I do appreciate the thoughts, cheers
Hey mate! Thanks, just got to be steady with the hands hahah, the Packraft helps with stability. Camera is a Nikon mirrorless z6. Not built for filming but gets the job done.
Hey mate, great to hear, where about in central west!? Plenty of cod opportunities around but the river levels aren’t as reliable so just gotta pick the right times, like any river
Thanks 🙌 the packrafts come with an inflation bag you use to inflate before each use. Generally we have gear inside the raft so doesn’t take long to get them up, no need for an electric pump, the bags work great.
Hi mate, cheers for the comment, it sure was a bunch of fun! There’s a few reasons I don’t explicitly state the rivers we are on. The foremost is simple and mainly it is out of respect of local fishos. I would get a lot of hate if I started promoting peoples local fishing holes on a stage as big as UA-cam. Second is that I’m really in it for the adventure, a lot of trips I love the challenge and thought of going somewhere new and full of unknowns. The less info I can find online the more excited it makes me. To be true to myself it just makes sense to not always state location, though a lot of people would recognise and know and a lot of the time I’d be happy to share personally as well 😃
Thanks for the comment, the hat is an akubra and there’s a factory out in Kempsey NSW which supplies many stores around Australia including RM Williams etc, or you can get directly from the factory.
insane video! the quality and the action! Looking forward to watching your channel grow into one of the best fishing and camping UA-cam channels.
Thanks mate! Really appreciate the comment and super keen to grow the channel and explore some wicked places along the way. Got some good content in the works and catch wait to share more 😃

They sure are game changers 💪 Can’t wait to properly put them through the wringer in summer.
What brand/model are your rafts? Great vid.
Outstanding video boys...very nicely done!

amazing video! what camera did you use for B roll and how did you get it so stable?
Hey mate! Thanks, just got to be steady with the hands hahah, the Packraft helps with stability. Camera is a Nikon mirrorless z6. Not built for filming but gets the job done.
Great vids boys ! I’m about to buy a alpacka gnarwhal and live in central west nsw hoping you could suggest some good spots for the raft cheers
Hey mate, great to hear, where about in central west!? Plenty of cod opportunities around but the river levels aren’t as reliable so just gotta pick the right times, like any river
Great vid guy 👌🏽 With the Pack Raft do you have to inflate before every session? What pump do you use?
Thanks 🙌 the packrafts come with an inflation bag you use to inflate before each use. Generally we have gear inside the raft so doesn’t take long to get them up, no need for an electric pump, the bags work great.
Nice one lads! Looks like fun. Why the secrecy with what rivers you're on?

@YonderingYowies no worries at all mate. Thanks for the detailed reply. I was just curious. Keep filming these epic trips for us!
Awesome adventure, the peaceful. Where can you recommend i get a similar hat?
Thanks for the comment, the hat is an akubra and there’s a factory out in Kempsey NSW which supplies many stores around Australia including RM Williams etc, or you can get directly from the factory.
