I’m having trouble how to set my ps2 joystick 🕹 on my hyper spin. Can you please help? I just want my arcade joystick 🕹 to play on ps2. All my buttons work just not my joystick 🕹
Try opening rlui, go to ps2 System, click the modules tab and select the emulator you are using say epcsx, then click the edit module settings button in this tab. There will be a drop down for the type of joystick. Select digit. If you want a game to be analog, some require it. Go to the next tab and push the + add the game then select the joystick as analog
Does this work for launchbox as well? Or just Hyper spin? Also can you send me a different link to this to download? The Hyper sound site is still down. Please help thanks you in advance.
Hi, I notice the hyperspin forum is down and heard the Tur-Game file is no longer available. Can you point me into the right direction where I can get this software. I also tried your link to your Mega.nz that's in the description but can't find it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank u
Do you need to set your trackball and mouse too? Will those order changes conflict upon restart? Or do you only have to worry about the aimtrak devices? Also will this method work for Sega Model 3 light gun games?
When I click on the buttons I want to map it doesn't map. It's highlighted in yellow, I tap my joystick button I want to map on RocketLauncher, but the highlighted word 'Disabled' doesn't change to the button I pressed on the joystick. It just stays as Disabled in highlighted yellow. Disk Management see the joystick. In MAME I can hit Tab and map it in there, but I can't map the joystick to control Hyperspin.
I don't use controllers, but I have joysticks, a trackball, and a spinner. Would this prevent my analog controls from switching? For example, my trackball controls are always switching to mouse 4 when only mouse 5 will work in games. I have a wireless logitech usb keyboard with a trackpad that I turn on and off, and that's probably why.
Yep this solution fixed all that nonsense that windows is flipping around. Just find the pid using the find exe or you may have to go to control panel and devices to determine the pid to the mice. I wrote a powershell script as well to find these before I stumbled on this amazing app
Please help me, rlauncher was working fine until yesterday , still my audits are green but upon launching cannot find D:Arcade/Untilies/ JoytoKey/joytokey.exe. Please help if you can , just trying to get back on Metroid other ZM. I don’t know happened. I didn’t change any settings.
@@PlanetGeekdom I've tried a few different methods. Still no luck. I heard doing it as a bat file works for some people. I'll try that. If you did a video on that as well, that would be awesome, because so far I'm stuck. Even when I set hyperspin to high priority it still takes 15 seconds after windows starts for it to load and I have a nice computer with SSD.
As mentioned in the comments, I use multiple controllers for the different console emulators. Noticed that the ID's of the controllers are the same. Port1=VID_0079&PID_0006 Port2=VID_0079&PID_0006 Port3=VID_0079&PID_0006 Port4=VID_0079&PID_0006 Does this matter? each is made by the same company (retropower) There's a PS2, NES, Genesis and N64. I have a feeling that it'll load the 4 randomly in the 4 ports. What are your thoughts?
Hmm each port has its own unique identifier . They should all be different, can you look into properties under the controller section and check for extra input to each device? The fingerprint should be in one of the property tabs
@@PlanetGeekdom I did confirm that similar joysticks may remap. For example I run the same arcade sticks for player 1 and 2. They flip flop from time to time. They use the same drivers and windows doesn't appear to recognize them as different fingerprints. Xbox controller tends to stay where it's designated and so does the Sega Saturn gamepad. The other controllers I have, although look different, they still use the same drivers. I guess windows never intended us to use 5 controllers lol. Oh well still hunting for an option. This works well when all the controllers are different.
I think the fingerprints can have even longer pid keys to be honest. There should be a unique key per controller if you dig far enough down looking at the device Id in properties
That’s fine, plug in what you have, then assign the controllers a number in the ini based on what you want them to have. So just make up a number like the nes will always be 4 or whatever. This app is really just used for if you have a specific controller plugged in or always used. I don’t think this is intended for like 20 controllers but rather like 2 lightguns and 2 controllers always plugged in for example. If you are trying to set up your controllers I think the tutorial on joytokey could be more useful for you
@@PlanetGeekdom it seems like they both have the same ID even though they show up in windows and Joy2Key as separate controllers. Luckily for now I only have these 2 USB controllers but not sure how it's going to work out when I add the Aimtrak guns.
Approx. We have mastered the controllers. These are now mice ... I have a couple of mice in the win7 system, namely one normal (normal mouse), road -trackball. And the third and fourth, and -that most important- as spinners, one made as left / right and the road as up / down. I have a problem in the DICE emulator because when I restart my computer randomly, it changes my spinners and it is impossible to play. Anyone know how to get around this?
@@PlanetGeekdom Yes, there is no folder in the folder. But the fault of the emulator itself. I will try to contact the emulator developer himself. Thanks.
When my 360 pad is plugged in it’s joy1 As soon as I plug aimtrak in it steals joy 1 and makes my 360 pad joy2 Will this solve the issue so 360 pad stays joy1 in mame?
It works for me. Be sure to plug in all your controllers. Then edit the config with the order you want them. Then upon start up be sure the app opens and it will reconfigure the number for all your controllers at startup. Yours doesn’t do that?
Planet Geekdom No I’ll be home in an hour and I’ll go through it again. I used your program from your ftp, that shouldn’t be An issue? The emulator itself you probably want it set to digital joystick instead of analog. You can do this in rlui as well under module settings
