It's weird watching this when you can easily tell the props are x beys but the story is about metal fusion. "This toy took cafeterias by storm" what do you mean it's still actively in circulation, I HAVE THAT ONE.
I remember back in my school me and like 10 other kids all crowded together to play with Beyblades. But really only half of us had beyblades and we watched while the half that did half beyblades some didn’t even have a launcher. So we many of us just hand spined those who had them. Mann I loved those memories.
They're planning on that happening in Japan and by next year the US Hasbro company will be starting to make official tournaments. Small groups throughout the US already have small tournaments using japanese rules for tourneys
It was always so painful for me when I would play beyblade in school because for some reason nobody was concerned about the sound when you don't stop turning the beyblade on the launcher
Bro, beyblades is still the coolest thing. They had to ban them on the school yard at my school cause these gambling rings got set up around the stadiums everyone brought
fifth grade, they were all the hype. kids kept using them during class, and incidents kept happening. i spent like 130 bucks on beyblades just for them to get banned the day i got my stadium in. it was definitely very tragic, especially because nobody else in my neighborhood used them. my last year of elementary school, ruined just like that.
This brought back great memories: On Wednesday nights, my parents would have Get-togethers at our house, while my friend and I would have epic Beyblade battles in a different room. They actually got intense though, because I think we were told to quiet down a few times…
bro bought back my memories from 2019 I had four types of beyblades one fast one one defense one and one strong one and my other strong one's and me and my friends bought like 1 or 2 bags full of beyblades like little bags not like school bags or whatever and I was the champion at beyblades and no one ever beat me or my friends but I was the leader and the strongest and never lost a single match btw way my strongest one was judgeman jocker👍👍
It is popular again. The current generation, Beyblade X, is seeing the biggest amount of new players in the history of the franchise, ranging from all ages.
@@ariel_warfare I mean, you're right, but I feel like it's become more niche, for example, you hardly see kids bringing their beys to school anymore (or at least I haven't seen it in my area) let alone blader teams. I feel like I got into beyblade too late to experience something like that, I'm currently 16 years old and I'm trying to make Beyblade popular in my high school, but it doesn't seem to be working and they'll probably see me as the weird guy who still plays with toys.
My wife said my stepson was into beyblade. It wasn't until I arrived to visit for Thanksgiving I saw how much. I bought him his first launcher and boy nearly tackled me to the ground with the hug he gave me. It was very nostalgic sitting there watching him in awe over spinning his beys and swapping out the bits. It was really cool to see phoenix could actually stop standing perfectly straight up.
Sadly, they got banned and made Beyblade burst. I remember going to target and getting that giant orange Beyblade container and 5 new Beyblades for my Birthday. I miss the good old days. (My family still can buy em from India).
@@UltraATorres Idk if at the time my brother had lied to me (I am the youngest) but he had told me that a Beyblade had went in someone's eye and caused them to lose in eye.
I always played with beyblades along time ago, the key to winning is watching how they spin, and launch your bey as hard as you can in the opposite direction of where the other bey spins.
You know it’s crazy though I had a $43,000 blade blade or whatever you call it and I didn’t even know it. I got the thing for like 40 bucks and it was unstoppable. I even forgot how to put it back together. I could throw it the hardest I can against concrete and it never broke.

For real beyblades where hello popular since kindergarten but now when I used to be in 4th grade beyblade died out I was the only person to have a beyblade left
Beyblades were so fun during school, I remember every Friday the boys and I would get each of our best beyblades and would alternate with who got their stadium, we would do solos and tag matches, man that was so fun
I find this quite funny because we had almost the same story here. I was the derek in my school. Back when the era of beyblade started no one was playing them. But then I (totally not forcefully) made my friends play them but they actually started enjoying them. After a while people started joining more and more even teachers were playing and it became a community in the school where competitions was held. I could say I was the goat. In my school we mostly had these metal beyblades and we would customize them in layers (the burst version) but some people couldn’t afford because of the price and brought plastic ones instead. And guess what happens when a spinning metal meets spinning plastic. The plastic one burst in the pieces( not pun intended) and got someone bleeding and I forgot what happened after that but after some days no one played them anymore.
I have this friend named Daniel. In 4th grade, he showed his school beyblade and got more friends than Mr beast. JK. In 5th grade, he went to an after with a bunch of other students and also showed beyblade to them. My 12 year old friend started a new generation in two schools just by making "substitute" beys and getting real ones. Bro is a legend.
I wanted one, but couldn't get one, and what my classmates did is make the arena from 2 chairs in school And that 1 classmates that was banned from battles because he had a glued together bayblade
I remember me and my friends were playing beyblade burst at school but my friend Dylan to go with drain Fafnir and Logan closed rockador . (Btw we were using hasbro beyblade) so they battled until drain fafnir broken Logan’s beyblade… kinda it was just the screws came out but Dylan said that he will NEVER bring drain fafnir again! And he kept that promise until he graduated…
As a fellow blader i agree i mean come on be honest when we we're still playing beyblades we all have our own team not to mention one match where who ever loses will get his or her bey taken by they're opponent
