I think the reason why everyone fussed over Ryuga is because he’s THAT entertaining antagonist and he’s consistent in what he does. He’s on par with Seto Kaiba in terms of entertaining, and that’s a big accomplishment. Every time he’s on screen, you go ‘oh sh*t’ or ‘oh. Sh*t.’ It’s to the point where I can’t believe I blew fusion off when it aired in middle school. I mean, damn, Ryuga’s primary goal in life was to whoop people’s asses and he had fun doing it. And ‘talk no Jutsu’ never really worked on him.
one of the biggest things that pissed me off on the show was how on the second season (Beyblade burst evolution) went to the next city THEY NERFED HIM AND HE GOT BEAT BY SOME RANDOM STREET BUM, he only used his technique he learned from s1 on ep 1 and then bro forgot about it.

I'm glad they start to give other series the recognition in this case Burst, many people always add metal fight, but they forget Burst or OG, and yes Burst can be realistic but it have their moments, look at Phi vs Aiger, Drum vs Gwen, these battles are wonderful specially because their animation even Valt and Rantaro vs Shu and Lane is amazing!, I grew with Bakuten, but also love Burst since is the series that made me back to Beyblade Saga. Fav seasons of Burst is God/Evolution and Chouzetsu/Turbo.

With that being said, Burst was more epic than Metal? I don‘t like to downplay your view on what epic means but there is substantial difference between Beyblade mostly being a sport in Burst and deciding literal wars, to influencing mutliple major historical events to ending the literal world. Burst could have been more entertaining for you but I really don‘t understand how Burst is supposed to be more epic then Metal. In my opinion, Burst is better than metal for multiple reasons you’ve already explained, but for me it’s gotta be the battle cries during battle. that and the clashes in burst were way better, sure it doesn’t show the beyblades destroying entire sections but that just proves that fusion went over the top and got worse as the seasons progressed, while burst just kept what it had from the beginning and only improved over time

Few fun facts: In the manga lui has destroyed springen three times and the I mean literally destroyed and not bursted, first time in the national tourney before s1 and when spriggan broke it scarred shu his face, second time at the end off the nationals off s1, and third time he destroyed legend spriggan in the battle where he exposed red eyes mask. Also phi has destroyed spriggan too, which makes shu the blader with his bey the most time destroyed. Another fun fact is that free was so good at beyblade that he didn’t see any blader as an actual challenge. You know in a legit match free would body slam ryuga hell ryuga practically cheats in almost all his matches after 1st season with hand spinning (hand spinning with opposite direction is broken since now that he’s lost the dark power which gave him omnipresent spin steal he has to rely on normal spin stealing which need you be spinning slower than your opponent think of it like starting a fighting game but you get all of your opponents starting meter along with your own) the only reason I’d ryuga wins is that he can summon a physical dragon to attack with mean while frees is just special effects but in normal match all skill no magic free violates

@@tails2012 okay so this is going to be a long explanation so essentially resonance is is when a blader and the bladersspirit / avatars at their Peak of conection this gives them the ability to manifest their Avatar into reality and it's so powerful enough it can manifest into reality for the entire battle or for as long as they want aiger for example was able to save his friend thanks to the power of him resonance with his avatar and there's also for a way to tell if a Beyblade is resonating it's when it glows or any of those special effects that you thought were special effects happen basically any important character would probably have this ability you can even speak with your avatar AKA your blade spirit you can also get possessed by your avatar the same way shu got possessed by his and you have many different types like hyperflex and there's four different types of hyperflux in the end of the of the GT series rainbow flux which is created by two or more blader Spirits or basically the power of friendship similarly to the way in the metal Saga Ginga was able to absorb people's power because of their connection The Clash was able to generate waves of power that can be seen through space then you have flare which by the way is the actual reason lui hair is on fire also there is dark resonace which bassically the dark power which caused if you remember caused Tsubasa to go crazy after being affected by it well something like that happened to aiger as he was cortupted by the dark resonace by phi so if you thought that was just him being like a jerk because thought it was just special effects that wasn't him being a jerk that was him being possessed / affected by essentially a Beyblade AIDS disease that causes you to be more aggressive and Way less fun to be around there's also the fact that beyblades in burst have confirmed to have elemental powers hidden within it can even generate actual freaking power so meaning that you know fire lightning water wind and all that that stuff is real they have they even did a test to make sure that this was actually the truth and not some sort of hoax or you can only see it in a certain Stadium so the people around them can't see the power Just like how they can't see the players resonating thing the only people that can see the avatars are the blades that owns the Avatar themselves although I believe that there are some people that could see it though in Bladers who have to do the lightning launch people who have elemental power of lightning could actually make it more powerful in other words at a bare minimum the Beyblade burst series would have lightning level speed because everybody who was at least relevant should be able to react to people who have the lightning power in their beyblades.
@@tails2012 so the tornadoes especially the tornadoes are most definitely created by the wind elemental power any Firebase abilities are created by the Firepower any lightning base ability you thought was just for effects you saw in the series is essentially the lightning power or a person's resonance essentially matching the lightning power and any water-based abilities are most likely created by the water Elemental ability the black holes are essentially created by the person's Resonace mind you this usually doesn't affect the people around them but the Bladers that are fighting themselves and their Spirits they're infusing their power inside their blades which is why they're AP will be equal to Planet level or above not their DC because they're not destroying planets so in short Beyblade burst series is Planet in terms of AP with lightning level speeds because any character that's relevant should be able to react to the lightning power users but this is a mass of low ball because they have greater speed abilities then this with them going into the FTL ranges with the resonance and possibly the solar system level ranges of AP only problem with the Beyblade burst series is the fact that the characters don't go all out in the start they only resonate if there are in a intense battle or if they're really pissed off as there's many battles where there Beyblades aren't glowing or having any resonate effects which is why they could lose to characters however they're most definitely not as weak as I see some people believing just because there's no one trying to take over the world or outright destroy it in Beyblade burst does not mean there's no powerful freaking Feats in Beyblade burst and I'm not so sure about taking over the world part in Beyblade burst cuz I haven't seen the full series but I know for a fact there are some crazy ass villains in there that probably would try to do that however if you want to do a power ranking of the four series excluding BeyWheelz and beyraiderz/cyborg and all that because no one really watched them and no one cares number one is obviously the metal Saga Number Two would be the OG series although you can flip them around a number three is the Beyblade burst series number four is Beyblade X which is actually the series that people should be thinking about as the weakest as Beyblade X doesn't really have any special effects all mainly just virtual reality stuff confirmed in the series so far meaning it is by far the weakest as the other three have at least Planet level and above scaling.

Yeah even during the anime we see that Free was #1 with Lui behind him. Lui came to one of BC Sol's team battles to see Free battle and both of them basically were smiling at each other or sizing one another up. When Lui busted out laughing after his bey literally gets destroyed not only did it showed him that more people than just Free could beat him but it also showed that victory isn't guranteed and someone whom you always beat could become better than you. Its in the name Beyblade Burst Evolution

To me, OG still is the best. It has the best characters, the best character arcs and the best actual Beyblade fights. The only thing it lacks in is the villains sometimes. Boris was a sucky villain, the Saint Shields were good and then it's Boris again in GRev.
Beyblade burst is amazing. I was so happy when I found out they didn’t discontinue the franchise. Meeting characters like Free Lui and Shu who are definitely legends, but it would take all of their power combined to step up to plastic gen or Metal fight. Over time the new eras of Beyblade got weaker starting at burst. In every era bladders could destroy buildings and move impossible doors with their beys, but not in burst and so far not in x. The only blader to really almost revive the old power of the older series was shu when he caught his bey without picking it up at the snake pit. Other than that they are still at building levels of power at most nuclear.
As much as I prefer Metal Fight/Metal Series more, I'm just happy there's *SOMEONE* out there that has fond memories of Burst and some of it's characters.

As a kid who was born in 2006 I prefered rhe Burst because of the drama betweeen bladsrs and I was so hyped up for Shu's purghtory scene and the fore last episode of 2nd season was peak. I stopped at middle of the Turbo because the Phantom Tief was boring but I'l continue because of Phy (u should also rewiv Turbo and Sparking)

Ah I remember the days I’d watching this with my siblings. How crazy we’d go over almost missing an episode and rushing back to the living room before commercials ended. Good times
I absolutely adore burst, more than metal, tbh. I finally decided to catch up on the series after putting it off for a while, and have just started surge. To be honest, I am PURELY watching it because of the returning characters, which just aren't the same because of the new VAs. The new protagonists' designs are HIDEOUS, and the red one is especially annoying with that stupid personality and that teethy grin.
Well, im my personal opinion, burst is the BEST series for me and im sad it ended.. i grew up with it and have 100+ of them rn. Im glad someone FINALLY found respect for it, this was my absolute childhood and was just amazing for me. I am SO glad someone finally acknowledged burst.
I'm very old, I started in the original series back in early 2000, my first beyblade was dragoon and dranzer. The bitbeast inhabited in the beyblade make sense for me of why characters who had in their beyblade were strong and able to follow commands.
Indeed G Revolution is my favorite season! But I respect Burst also because they aren't like those metal fight fans on the comments, also what I see People Who grew with original series or like original series they respect Burst too, unlike metal fans that says metal is better than Burst or OG.
I gotta say, when I started watching it I wasn't expecting much. The main character Valt was definitely a challenge to watch at first, but as time went on he got better and better. But I have to say, the moment I really got invested in the show was his first run against Lui. He lost again and again. The Lui was getting bored and ready to leave, then he hears Valt call him out one more time across the arena causing Lui's hair to catch fire again and grin. That was probably my favorite battle in the series, not because the other ones weren't epic, but because Valt was a novice at the time and he was getting knocked down and getting back up against a guy who had already mastered resonance. Also the scar Shu got was from Lui knocking his beyblade into his eyes. Lui was going to do that to Valt, but Valt caught the blade instead. That was cool as hell.

In the manga Shu’s mask as red eye didn’t break from the bey bursting,Lui hit spriggan breaking it and hitting shu’s mask which breaks it.

I'm glad they start to give other series the recognition in this case Burst, many people always add metal fight, but they forget Burst or OG, and yes Burst can be realistic but it have their moments, look at Phi vs Aiger, Drum vs Gwen, these battles are wonderful specially because their animation even Valt and Rantaro vs Shu and Lane is amazing!, I grew with Bakuten, but also love Burst since is the series that made me back to Beyblade Saga. Fav seasons of Burst is God/Evolution and Chouzetsu/Turbo.
Lemme say this: everything after turbo was Mid, at BEST. Turbo cant beat the begginings or valt becoming champion, but Aiger still has that DAWG inside him.

In the manga lui has destroyed springen three times and the I mean literally destroyed and not bursted, first time in the national tourney before s1 and when spriggan broke it scarred shu his face, second time at the end off the nationals off s1, and third time he destroyed legend spriggan in the battle where he exposed red eyes mask. Also phi has destroyed spriggan too, which makes shu the blader with his bey the most time destroyed. Another fun fact is that free was so good at beyblade that he didn’t see any blader as an actual challenge. Last free is the only top five blader that never had any protagonist or antagonist plot armor

@@tails2012 okay so this is going to be a long explanation so essentially resonance is is when a blader and the bladersspirit / avatars at their Peak of conection this gives them the ability to manifest their Avatar into reality and it's so powerful enough it can manifest into reality for the entire battle or for as long as they want aiger for example was able to save his friend thanks to the power of him resonance with his avatar and there's also for a way to tell if a Beyblade is resonating it's when it glows or any of those special effects that you thought were special effects happen basically any important character would probably have this ability you can even speak with your avatar AKA your blade spirit you can also get possessed by your avatar the same way shu got possessed by his and you have many different types like hyperflex and there's four different types of hyperflux in the end of the of the GT series rainbow flux which is created by two or more blader Spirits or basically the power of friendship similarly to the way in the metal Saga Ginga was able to absorb people's power because of their connection The Clash was able to generate waves of power that can be seen through space then you have flare which by the way is the actual reason lui hair is on fire also there is dark resonace which bassically the dark power which caused if you remember caused Tsubasa to go crazy after being affected by it well something like that happened to aiger as he was cortupted by the dark resonace by phi so if you thought that was just him being like a jerk because thought it was just special effects that wasn't him being a jerk that was him being possessed / affected by essentially a Beyblade AIDS disease that causes you to be more aggressive and Way less fun to be around there's also the fact that beyblades in burst have confirmed to have elemental powers hidden within it can even generate actual freaking power so meaning that you know fire lightning water wind and all that that stuff is real they have they even did a test to make sure that this was actually the truth and not some sort of hoax or you can only see it in a certain Stadium so the people around them can't see the power Just like how they can't see the players resonating thing the only people that can see the avatars are the blades that owns the Avatar themselves although I believe that there are some people that could see it though in Bladers who have to do the lightning launch people who have elemental power of lightning could actually make it more powerful in other words at a bare minimum the Beyblade burst series would have lightning level speed because everybody who was at least relevant should be able to react to people who have the lightning power in their beyblades.
@@tails2012 so the tornadoes especially the tornadoes are most definitely created by the wind elemental power any Firebase abilities are created by the Firepower any lightning base ability you thought was just for effects you saw in the series is essentially the lightning power or a person's resonance essentially matching the lightning power and any water-based abilities are most likely created by the water Elemental ability the black holes are essentially created by the person's Resonace mind you this usually doesn't affect the people around them but the Bladers that are fighting themselves and their Spirits they're infusing their power inside their blades which is why they're AP will be equal to Planet level or above not their DC because they're not destroying planets so in short Beyblade burst series is Planet in terms of AP with lightning level speeds because any character that's relevant should be able to react to the lightning power users but this is a mass of low ball because they have greater speed abilities then this with them going into the FTL ranges with the resonance and possibly the solar system level ranges of AP only problem with the Beyblade burst series is the fact that the characters don't go all out in the start they only resonate if there are in a intense battle or if they're really pissed off as there's many battles where there Beyblades aren't glowing or having any resonate effects which is why they could lose to characters however they're most definitely not as weak as I see some people believing just because there's no one trying to take over the world or outright destroy it in Beyblade burst does not mean there's no powerful freaking Feats in Beyblade burst and I'm not so sure about taking over the world part in Beyblade burst cuz I haven't seen the full series but I know for a fact there are some crazy ass villains in there that probably would try to do that however if you want to do a power ranking of the four series excluding BeyWheelz and beyraiderz/cyborg and all that because no one really watched them and no one cares number one is obviously the metal Saga Number Two would be the OG series although you can flip them around a number three is the Beyblade burst series number four is Beyblade X which is actually the series that people should be thinking about as the weakest as Beyblade X doesn't really have any special effects all mainly just virtual reality stuff confirmed in the series so far meaning it is by far the weakest as the other three have at least Planet level and above scaling.

Yeah even during the anime we see that Free was #1 with Lui behind him. Lui came to one of BC Sol's team battles to see Free battle and both of them basically were smiling at each other or sizing one another up. When Lui busted out laughing after his bey literally gets destroyed not only did it showed him that more people than just Free could beat him but it also showed that victory isn't guranteed and someone whom you always beat could become better than you. To me, OG still is the best. It has the best characters, the best character arcs and the best actual Beyblade fights. The only thing it lacks in is the villains sometimes. Boris was a sucky villain, the Saint Shields were good and then it's Boris again in GRev.
Beyblade burst is amazing. I was so happy when I found out they didn’t discontinue the franchise. Meeting characters like Free Lui and Shu who are definitely legends, but it would take all of their power combined to step up to plastic gen or Metal fight. Over time the new eras of Beyblade got weaker starting at burst. In every era bladders could destroy buildings and move impossible doors with their beys, but not in burst and so far not in x. The only blader to really almost revive the old power of the older series was shu when he caught his bey without picking it up at the snake pit. Other than that they are still at building levels of power at most nuclear.

I absolutely adore burst, more than metal, tbh. I finally decided to catch up on the series after putting it off for a while, and have just started surge.
To be honest, I am PURELY watching it because of the returning characters, which just aren't the same because of the new VAs. The new protagonists' designs are HIDEOUS, and the red one is especially annoying with that stupid personality and that teethy grin.

Well, im my personal opinion, burst is the BEST series for me and im sad it ended.. i grew up with it and have 100+ of them rn. Im glad someone FINALLY found respect for it, this was my absolute childhood and was just amazing for me. I am SO glad someone finally acknowledged burst.
I'm very old, I started in the original series back in early 2000, my first beyblade was dragoon and dranzer. The bitbeast inhabited in the beyblade make sense for me of why characters who had in their beyblade were strong and able to follow commands.

I gotta say, when I started watching it I wasn't expecting much. The main character Valt was definitely a challenge to watch at first, but as time went on he got better and better. But I have to say, the moment I really got invested in the show was his first run against Lui. He lost again and again. The Lui was getting bored and ready to leave, then he hears Valt call him out one more time across the arena causing Lui's hair to catch fire again and grin. That was probably my favorite battle in the series, not because the other ones weren't epic, but because Valt was a novice at the time and he was getting knocked down and getting back up against a guy who had already mastered resonance. Also the scar Shu got was from Lui knocking his beyblade into his eyes. Lui was going to do that to Valt, but Valt caught the blade instead. That was cool as hell.

7.whenever Valt showed up into the battle with Wakiya and instead of Wakiya having a weighted suit on(like in the anime) Valt came in with a tire on his back
8. In the manga Shu’s mask as red eye didn’t break from the bey bursting,Lui hit spriggan breaking it and hitting shu’s mask which breaks it.
