I'm happy that you've visited your best friends Miss Lorie and Mr Brown. On her you tube video while she making peach pound cake, she mentioned she will have special guest to visit her house. I already knew who it is? Mrs Vickie and I hope you brought Brian too. I'm pretty sure you had a blast time. Anyway, my Grandma used to make this recipe with chicken or beef with steam rice. It's so good and tasty. Until now I still make it family recipeand pass it to the new generations. Good to see you on video. I think everybody's happy that we see that you and Brian are okay. The soup looks really good to me and the weather here in Ohio is getting to the place where soupy sounds good I just may leave it kind of chunky I've been hungry for a cooked cabbage kind of thing lately and I think this will fill the bill well I'll probably just mash up enough potatoes to make it creamy. Sounds really good and sounds like it could go many directions. Thank you very much for sharing seems to be right down my alley right this minute

When Miss Lori said she was expecting a special guest, I thought it might be you!
I used to make a soup almost like that back in the early '70s, but somehow I'd forgotten it. The difference was that of course we didn't have immersion blenders, so I cooked it longer until the potatoes were falling apart and then stirred a lot. Also, I added sour cream right at the end. Sometimes I added some sauerkraut. Sometimes I sprinkled chopped chives over the top when I served it. I usually served it with kielbasa.

I have the ingredients except Caraway seeds. Need to rebuy some but I'm going to make it anyway and put some Beef Kielbasa small chunks in it for flavor. Thank you for this recipe! Many blessings!!

Yes, it is. The only issue I have had with it is probably operator error. Sometimes I don’t think I get the bottom attached properly, but it’s better now that I have used it for a while.
