  • We just got back home from an amazing 4 day stay at Camp Wood, TX. We stayed at Camp Wood RV and Cabin Resort located off of the Nueces River. There is no water that compares to the clarity and quality of this spring-fed river! The campground has incredible cleanliness and you're allowed two tents per tent site. Because mine was on top of my Jeep, mine did not count. Amenities included water, and electricity, bathrooms with showers, swimming pool with splash pad, 300-yard golf range, pickleball (whatever that is) playground, basketball, and volleyball courts. Check out the video for all our activities and some incredible scenery to send us back home.

      I'll have to disagree. Texas rivers are beautiful and most people take care of things properly. Considering places like New Braunfels, its only like that due to close college towns and young people who don't care quite as much. That crowd will likely not drive that far to visit a secluded and beautiful place like this.

      @@fastcaptn2468 Funny, because when I spoke with the owner while visiting, he was doing many upgrades to bring in more visitors to share this gorgeous water hole with people. So I think you should maybe take that up with him and not me. I'm sharing the beauty of the state with those who love to travel. If you don't like it, then I don't have any advice to give you.

      Don't not plan ahead. Don't leave behind items like extension cords for power hook ups and charging electronics. Don't pass up gas stations if you know your getting low on fuel. Just normal things like that.

    • @adventure_48
      @adventure_48  Рік тому

      Not too far, about 1-2 minutes just bc of the bed rocks

    Is there a fee to swim the quince?

    • @asianangler

      i think he said 5 bucks to enter?

    • @adventure_48
      @adventure_48  3 роки тому +3

      Yes it's only five bucks per head and kids under 12 are free. Very humble and nice owners. They're using the fees to put back into the parking area and add tables for people to sit at. Things like that, well worth it!
