Hey Bart, thank you so much. The fader thing is just my iPad as the Mac Pro is to my left on the desk. I can control my mixer and software with the iPad through Presonus’ own apps. It’s great as I can calibrate gains, eq, arm to record, monitoring… in essence, everything. But while recording, everything goes into Studio One in Pre rather than Post. So everything goes in straight, just with levels. No eq or processing of any kind.
Hi Bart. That is my Presonus Studiolive 24 series III mixer. It has now been discontinued but new models are available. Works as a mixer on its own and allows you to multitrack to an SD card which is built into the mixer. Also works as an audio interface which is then connected via USB into my Mac Pro. Once everything is recorded, I then use it as a controller. I’ll try and go a quick video on it so you can see it in more detail if you want? 👍🏻🤘🏻🥁
@paulocardosodrums i do, i think its the same idea as my tascam live recorder then? I realy need to get the hang of that thing when i get the studio done Hopefully in 2 months we can open shop
