I understand you, I liked this game alot but it wasn't considered a classic style of Mario game. Yoshi's island, though, isn't even a classic Mario game, infact, not a Mario game at all! It dose have Mario but you play as Yoshi the whole game and games after it were made with alot of the same mechanics, then they say it's in the Yoshi series! I'm not saying Yoshi's is a bad game, just not a Mario game.

@@cspetronilho It is understandable. SMB3 added in so much to series, that it pretty much shaped how the later games would evolve. For a game that was only on the NES, SMB3 was a mammoth that was incredibly ambitious. SMW is fantastic, but it didn't offer as many revolutionary ideas as SMB3.

Super Mario galaxy 1 was and will always be my most favorite super Mario game of all time.. The visuals, the gameplay, the characters (Rosalina most of all) were so unique, it made me complete the game entirely 100%.. And it was by first game completion for the first time
It was colorful,it had amazing level design,The music is by far one of the best I've heard in gaming and it just does something that the other games never seemed to replicate,it felt new(even tho the controls haven't aged well,but that's ok)

Ah, yes, the Virtual Console. Probably the only reason the Wii U has any worth to many people. I'm not one of those sadsacks, especially since I didn't bother with getting the re-releases of DK: Tropical Freeze or Super Mario Bros. U (not quite) Deluxe. I just got the Wii U versions of both figuring they were both a better value.

Charles Enriquez theyre amazing but I still don’t find them close enough to be on the same pedestal as Super Mario RPG. Just the extremely unique area and enemies, I know all the RPG style Mario games after try to emulate that aspect of the game but I just don’t think they’re on the same tier

@@TwilitGamer01 I have played both and the 2 one is longer has YOSHI and I prefer it to the first. However galaxy 1 did come before galaxy 2 so that makes it more unique. Also Galaxy 1 has a better story (but let's be real who plays a mario game for story) anyway I would say there is no clear better game

If you're talking about what these games contributed to the Mario series Mario Bros 3 would be on there however as a game it's aged and it absolutely not comparable to the new Mario games and then that aspect this list is terrible.

Honestly, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is my favorite Mario game. I never liked Galaxy 1 as much because I got it long after Galaxy 2. I still think it should've been in the list, though.

Charles Enriquez theyre amazing but I still don’t find them close enough to be on the same pedestal as Super Mario RPG. Just the extremely unique area and enemies, I know all the RPG style Mario games after try to emulate that aspect of the game but I just don’t think they’re on the same tier
