Everyone keeps saying Martinez “ showed Aldo to much respect “ and although perhaps there may be some truth to that, I feel more so he just wasn’t expecting Aldo to still have that quick of hands and power. Literally during the first couple of exchanges Aldo caught him with a nice counter and it made Martinez back up and go on the defensive and it wasn’t till round three that he recovered and started connecting with Aldo until he just got countered and rocked again.

Since Conor, Aldo lost to Max, Volk, Yan, Merab, and Moraies by split decision. Pretty good list, but he still lost to those guys. He also beat Edgar, Vera, Font, Munhoz, Moicano, and Stephens. Also a good list. He was right there, just not at the tippy top.

Aldo could beat sean if he utilizes his leg kicks and jab.. Would be a sick fight and I wanna see aldo get belt back before retires.. He deserves one last chance
