Ha fantastic ... Im about 4 yrs late to the party but hey !!! This reminds me of the Second part of Robin Trowers Song " If you Believe in me " Great way to practice that song ... Thanks for sharing
@@slendergainzA Dorian is the G major scale (aka E natural minor) but it starts on A instead of G or E. Also B phrygian, C Lydian D mixolydian and F# Locrian. All the same scale just starting from different root notes
@@newusernamehere4772 how can b phygrian scale be the same scale as c# lydian or d mixo? . There is no c# in b phygrian scale or d mixolydian . Are you sure ?
Nicely paced and well played. An easy track to develop ideas over especially for a beginning soloist. Well done.

This is likeable! 4 shift to have fun over, a little slower than i like but for it's speed its very enjoyable
Hexatonic scale works really well here too. G-A-B-D-E-F#
Grazie.
Thank you!!

🔥🔥🔥
Nice track, thanks!.
🎸Love the Dorian sound! Thank you...If I could sub twice, I would!!! Keep putting out the great tracks..😎
I see that this is a dorian scale backing track, but I'm wondering what key it is in...?
G major as as A is the second scale tone
The key of Frank Zappa- A Dorian, but D Mixo or C Lydian.
Dorian is the second mode in a key, so this is G major.
The joke flew over everyone's head 🙄
@
That was a joke? Was it about how guitarists find modes difficult?
I sound like Pink Floyd! :-)
so, If D Dorian uses the C major scale. why doesn't A Dorian use the G Maj scale?
It does. A dorian is G major starting on A
The key is G maj..
@@asteriosishso whqt if u play gmajs relative minor E over It would that still be Dorian or no
