I’m a child of the 80’s and this thing is such fun. I just ordered the gold one lol. I’d never spend real money on a gold toned watch because I wouldn’t wear it enough but with this I just figured let’s just go all out 😂
I also got this watch because i was a 90s child, born in the 80s, and i remember all my family and friends parents had this type of Casio watch with the straight links and rectangle dial. Love it.
@@anantaakansh if it's made of plastic doesn't mean it's unreliable. Every plastic casio is strong and durable enough tbh, yes it scratch but it'll keep running for years and years
I have recently discovered this watch and I plan to buy one. That is why I have ended up here :) Before, I had a Casio AQ-230A and it lost its water-resistant feature after battery replacement. and I lost the stick that indicates the minute. This one looks even more stylish, especially the watchband. Thanks for the video.
I bought a casio A159W which is stainless steel and looks the same as the F-91W , so I didn’t like the cheap bracelet and I replaced it with a F-91W resin strap and it looks cool IMO , so the other thing is that the A159W says Japan on the case instead of china or thailand etc. 😂
What a great piece! I love it. Maybe I go for the a bit more expensive gold version. So retro, but it fits my age ;) Thanks for the review. Does it have a light?
@@roglolo to problem it’s -Armitron Sport Retro Digital Chronograph Mesh Bracelet Watch, 40/8485. I got it from the US Amazon , it’s on sale for 32 . The strap wasn’t my favourite so swapped for rubber replacement
@@roglolo Casio themselves have a higher-end retro, full stainless stell model (as opposed to their usual resin) the casio A1000. It's heavier, more durable but slightly more expensive as you would expect.
On these types of watches, I like how the minute hand moves every 20 seconds. But I don't understand, why Casio always rely on these resin cases. They look quite ran down after a couple of years. This kind of watch with a full steal case and hardened mineral glass would be truly awesome...
This is a coold design, but let's address the elephants in the room: the usual Casio cheap bracelet, , acrylic glass, resin case, both scratch prone. For 50 USD, get the Pulsar PBK029X1: full-stainless steel (including the buttons), CURVED mineral glass, double folded link bracelet, 2 push-button clasp, WR50, LED lighting, seconds hand, LUME, superior quality in every category. And it looks effortlessly cool as well, I would dare say even classy. I would buy the Casio only if it were half the price. It is 60 USD right now in my part of the world (Eastern Europe) and the Gold one is 80USD. By comparison, the Pulsar is only 55 USD.
@@The555shoes , that is crazy. List prices here in Romania are 110 EURO and it has been on sale for half a year now, 50% off. And I gotta say a lot of gorgeous Pulsar watches are heavily discounted over here, Lorus, Casio and Orient too.
THANK YOU! i was wrestling with the white or black one, and im lady and so I went with the white because i thought its more fitting for a feminine woman too. Glad im not alone in that thought.
I did t think it was possible to talk about this watch for 15 minutes but there it is
I own the AQ-800E too and love it a lot. Simply looking great with that dial and very comfortable to wear.

Totally feel you. Did the same. Gold is so bling, bling. But for a true eighties watch gold is a Must 😄😉
What's the legibility like on the gold one?

I just bought this, i like it ❤
Beautiful watch. I love Casio.
My favorite watch of all time
What a beautiful watch 😍
i got the green one today looks amazing.
Very cool. I just snagged one each for me and my son on the Zon for ~$38. 👍 Nicely done review and overview.
This would've been the perfect watch if it had a backlight
I just purchased this watch on 05/23 for 41.00 in a Walmart it was hidden on the Casio display rack and immediately caught my attention
Epic find, congrats!
Very nice casio watch but too bad there is no back-light.
Same in metal, with solar charging and a light. Would be very cool.
@@AxLWake absolutely, i would buy it in a heartbeat.
@@AxLWake exactly, Vintage in looks but not in build quality

Armitron do a similar watch with a full stainless case, worth checking out. I got a really cool retro digital one last week , extremely happy with it
Would u mind naming the watch you mentioned?

I’ve just bought this watch , and you sound like roger federer btw 👍🏻
Love everything except for the shiny chrome finish. I definitely prefer the matte finish of the databank series.
Looks awesome but would be a bit small for my wrist.
Ordered one yesterday and coming tomorrow. Can I wear it daily to work ?
Can I replace my 158wa with it as a daily wearer?
Very cool find, thanks. Is the bracelet able to be swapped out for 18mm straps?
Yes, the lugs are just hooded
This Watch rips off all my arm Hair
Very cool but the gold version is 80 bucks...

Controversial opinion here. I think the AQ800 is cooler than the PRX
Prx or aq800
Not really compareable ...
Just a question, is the date screen day month, or month day?
Month Date Day
This or Tiffany ? which looks better?
To me, this one
What is the exact band width so I can switch it out
18mm as shown and described in the video 😅
What year was this watch originally realesed?
1984
👏👏👏👏👏

cant decide the black or white version bro, the white seems feminine on me
If the color is all that’s stopping you from looking feminine you have bigger problems

Thankfully, yes.
DUDE I GOT THIS SHIT AT WALMART FOR 42$!!!!!! ABSOLUTE STEAL!!!!!!!!!!
How's it look on your wrist? Does it look like a kid watch?
