We followed your technique and put together a makeshift grooming table. After getting it all set up, we put our neurotic Malchipoo in the collar, held his hind end up and trimmed away a significant amount of hair. This was all due to a new groomer rejecting him, refusing to cut his hair because she felt he was too aggressive. Our little 8 lb of ferocious fluffy fury terrorized the groomer! After we used your technique he was a happy as we've ever seen him after grooming. It works so well we'll probably invest in a better set up and do it ourselves from now on. Thank you!

I am sooooo happy i found your channel.. i have a 14 year old blind and deaf Shitzu. When i say blind, i mean , with the vets advice, his eyes were removed. The groomers in my area said they wont groom him anymore, because he fights so bad.. Not biting, just fighting. Ive been looking for stuff like this for a very very long time now, seeing i am now his groomer.. A lot of people make comment to just put him down. I cant. He was first born of first litter, and I was there by myself to help bring him into the world. I have had him since day one in this world.. thank you!!!
My dog moves so much. He’s afraid of people, so going to a professional groomer just isn’t an option with him. He bites out of anxiety when I try to move him and he’s really antsy. Thank you so much for this info! It really helps!
Hello! Are you still making videos? I have learned so much from you. So far the newest video has been 1 year old. I have been grooming my dogs as well as friends and family for about 40 years. I have a great set up at home but since I am not in a shop or around other groomers, I learn from you. That you so much for your contribution!
Great, thank you! Do you have a video for shih tzu puppy that is terrified of a brush and trimmers on his face. He is 16 weeks and 1lb 13oz. Very small.
Yay, Thank YOU! I can't wait to try this on my Moyen...she is full of sass, drama and she wants me to be on her schedule! 🤣 not anymore sister, not any more! 🐩🐩🐩🐩
Amy the tips and instruction you offer are invaluable! I’ve learned SO much from your videos. You point out things I never would have thought of. I’m so grateful for your UA-cam Channel. I’m sending a BIG Thank You ! PS- Could you advise me on the protective clothing you wear when grooming? Do you have a favorite brand? Thanks! Happy Grooming! ❤😊
First off, love your videos. As a baby groomer, they have been a life saver!!! I REALLY want to obtain the tub harness as it looks amazing and that I wouldn't need to get it in all different sizes. I really love the fact that it doesn't pull on their trachea. That is a real concern for me. I have reached out via email to the person in your description and have yet to hear back. Do you know if she still selling these? If not,i any idea where I could get one or could you give me a length on the one you have so I could attempt to make my own? I was surprised that I was unable to locate anything even similar online! HELP?
All this wonderful information, which I hope to try with my Bichon pup, I hope it works!?! She is one stubborn girl! Thank you for your time and knowledge!!!!
It seems to me that the harness would not be suitable for cockers who love to have their heads on their legs so you can’t groom them, for those who bite when doing front nails or for dogs who are trying to turn and bite. Is that correct? I like the idea of having a solution that avoids the neck as I’ve seen many dogs with injuries from walking with a collar and pulling on the lead.
Thank you. I am not successful with my Yorkshire Terrier, even with restraints because he always pulls his legs away - yes, I try to hold his legs but it is impossible. How do I groom his legs if he keeps pulling them towards his body?
This is the tub I have but it might be more than what you need. The same company does make smaller stainless tubs. www.tristarvet.com/product/swivel-ramp-bathing-tub/
I so love you and your videos. I subscribe and use them so often. I sought something about tethering out after a post I made in a groomers' group prompted some not nice comments. After watching your video it appears I am doing it correctly. I do use a belly strap for antsy dogs. But in the front looks like your set up so I am confused. Keep up the good work. You are very upbeat and likeable.
It does not appear that the groomers harness is available for purchase at the link provided. I googled the place and it doesn’t look like they sell merchandise. Can you recommend another groomer harness please. My do have will go right off the table otherwise. Thanks so much
I see that some tables have two grooming arms and they put a harness around the dog’s body. Is it better to do it with two arms and two or three leads (one around body)? As well, how do you keep the dog standing with only two leads in the front?
I really want to try this, I have 2 golden doodles and one is so so picky. I just bought blue buffalo and one loves it but the other on doesn’t care for it. Please help….
Very useful information. Thank you for the product suggestions. I am on my way to start grooming my dog at home the correct and safe way, as the groomer I used to take my dog to accidentally cut one of my dog's paw pads with some shears and the paw ended up with a permanent scar. I have been very concerned for his next grooming session and have been highly considering grooming at home as an option. I've watched multiple of your videos and will use them as reference. I don't know if you have a grooming session recorded with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel but it would help tremendously as I cannot find a great grooming video on youtube for this breed. I would like to know what the grooming standards are for this breed and if there are some specific products that are a must when grooming a Cavalier. Maybe you have a video, where the technique you used would apply the same for a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Hope you read this. Thank you!
Great work Amy as usual. Whatever happened to the Activet dematting brush which you said in the past was your favorite? I have been waiting about 6 months for it to come back in stock. I see you use the Les Pooch De-matting Brush. Is that the same tool?
Toy dogs shouldn’t have anything round their neck, eg chihuahuas, they have very soft bones which can be easily broken. Harnesses are for these tiny babies to keep them safe. Glad this groomer is promoting safe handling 🐶
Hi, thanks for all your videos👌🏼🥰. Unfortunately I’m not in the USA and get so disappointed when I’m not able to source your recommendations or when I can the prices here are astronomical. I’d appreciate if you’re able to recommend other brands us internationals could consider. Thank you so much.
I bought an ITAPO, foldable, grooming table. After receiving it, I noticed that there are no eye hooks at the top, horizontal, bar. [like use the Groomer's Harness, as an example] It comes with 2 short straps .. with a peculiar clip at the end of the strap. The 2 straps appear to be to keep the dog from sitting ?? * * Can I just buy some chain to wrap around the top, horizontal, bar. Every dog has grooming needs. Unfortunately, many pet owners are unaware that their short hair breeds require a lot of upkeep in order to avoid itchy skin and ear problems.
That clip is a groomers helper, can't believe you let dog of the edge of table door a demo, no one behind him. Simple should not have happened or ever happen. Dogs die or hang by groomers leaving a dog on a table on its own. You NEVER leave a dog, not even to reach for a clippers, comb etc for a few seconds. Golden rule

This is great! My dog hung it self at the groomer and passed away😪 It has been years and I still haven’t gotten over it.
That is terrible!!!
He must’ve been left unattended on the table or he never would’ve passed away from that. I’m so sorry🥲
Sorry about your loss. As a groomer we are taught not to leave the dogs unattended while on the table. 😓🥺
OMG, I don't blame you. That would be very traumatic. Big hugs to you. I'm so sorry you had to go through that.
Oh I’m so sorry😓

--Can you do an updated video of this. I’m in the market for something like this?
Of what specifically? I showed a lot in this video. It is still very relevant to today, not outdated. Grooming tools are rarely outdated.
I see that some tables have two grooming arms and they put a harness around the dog’s body. Is it better to do it with two arms and two or three leads (one around body)?

Could you try using one on a male dog and give a honest review or tips after trying? They're becoming popular so I bet it'd get lots of views
