When you accelerate you have to lean your body forward, this allows you not to hang on the handlebars when accelerating and gives you better throttle control! This will help avoid wobble.
I actually think I’d like the taller seat also, but don’t think I’ll be as stable when having to put a foot down or at stops. One of the many disadvantages of being shorter, woe is me.
Regarding the front wobble, in my experience this also occurs when you have nobbier tires and are going over 70. For example I had no wobble with Shinko 704/705s but did with 804/805s.
Good point, I did notice front wheel wobble at really high speeds on the highway. I attributed it to the dual purpose front tires. Thanks for your comment.
MPH or KPH? If the former, damn dude, on stock tires? I feel the front moving side to side a little when I'm pushing 85-90 mph, maybe I should man up and keep going...
Hey there, sorry for the delay in my response. I like it overall and don’t regret buying it. However, I just haven’t been able to ride it much because of other personal issues. I hope to get back on it and posting videos soon. DM me if you want for info.
After thinking about it, I believe I was leaning back too much while accelerating, which caused the center of gravity to shift towards the back. This made the front end light and possibly caused the wobble, I think. I’ve come to this conclusion because on subsequent rides this didn’t occur, which made me think what I could have done differently. This was my first ride after not riding for a while and I think I just failed to lean forward when I accelerated, which is what I normally do. Instead, I was reviewing the new lower seat and trying to figure out whether it was causing me to lean slightly forward or sit more neutral. As a result, I wasn’t doing what I normally do.
Aren’t all other rivals just as high if not higher? The lower seat definitely helps, it’s just not as comfortable when riding in the seated position cause my knees are more bent. However, that may be just me cause my knees aren’t 100%.
Huh, I don’t follow the forums or others regarding this bike, so I haven’t heard that complaint. Personally, I didn’t notice the engine being that loud at those speeds. I noticed the front end being somewhat loose at high speeds 80-95 mph, enough to where I start slowing down. I’m not sure if it’s because of the tires or that it’s just not designed for those upper speeds.
Hey there, I thought I replied to this yesterday, but apparently it didn't go through. It's only 3/4" lower, but it's noticeable. Good for stopping and putting both feet down, but bad when sitting, cause my knees feel too bent. I'm 5'8" with a 30" inseam.
Hey Steve, I’m 5’8” with about a 30”-31” inseam. The actual amount is something like 3/4” lower, but in practical terms, I was on my tippy toes with the standard seat, now I’m on the balls of my feet. Very noticeable difference in terms of feel and stability when straddling The bike at stops. I’m glad I got it.

I got the tall seat. Love it.

@@ocdmoto mph.
@@ocdmoto last bike was a multi 1200s. I would get 120 from my driveway to the next lol.
Overall, how are you liking your bike so, far? Any mechanical issues or glitches with it. I'm really coming close to buying a 2023..

The front wobbles when you hung on it, You should always push on the handle bars
Thanks dude, I suspected it was something along those lines.
That front not good. What did you do to create this? Did you fix it?

Is this seat quite comfortable as compared to the previous one ?
It’s about the same, at least I can’t tell a difference in comfort.
@@ocdmoto that is good
Been looking for mid size ADV & this bike killing rivals on specs im 5 f 7 & hight putting me off but if there is a solution great!!

@@ocdmoto is it true as others said engine noisy @ 70mph feels like needs another gear ⚙️

how much lower does it get with the low seat?

Where can I get the seat and do you know the price?? ..
www.af1racing.com/saddle-6, $250 USD.
How tall are you? how much lower?
