I came here because I was interested in learning from professionals. I fell in love with DUB Techno because the song is simple but still brings color. and a lot of DUB Techno songs used at Fashion Show ..
Sounds like a tom or kick drum loaded into a sampler. Then increase the attack time on the sampler's amp envelope. Seems to be programmed to play on the off beat.
Johnny Moser - So the Maschine software is not a Digital Audio Workstation??? 🤣🤣🤣 so what do you do if you don’t have a DAW? It’s just simply the worst even when trying to get it to sync with other DAWs. I’ve never seen a company use so many other companies to advertise their products. It’s just mind blowing to me. I remember the time when they didn’t have maschine which was understandable but now it’s just crazy. I don’t see them using the Traktor DJ controller with Serato or Virtual DJ. If someone could get me to understand this I would be more than grateful.
@@djstory23 - yeah it syncs with other DAWs I meant that the latency that it produces in some DAWs... But still, they need to really focus on giving the avid users what they need.
I don’t understand any of this. So you have to use Ableton to record with the sounds that you get from Native Instrument? Native doesn’t have their own recording software. I may not even have said that correctly....
Ableton Live is like a virtual mixer and master recorder(software environment that parallels those real world machines). Native Instruments is like Fender, Korg, or Moog(maker of instruments, although software).
Ableton is a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) like a number of others (Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools,Fruity Loops etc) - you can do this process in any of them. The NI parts are software plugins being used as a synth and FX unit respectively. You would need some kind of software to do the arrangement/composition as they're fed from MIDI so either a DAW or a MIDI controller and play it live and record it.
You can record in Maschine. You can also route 16 channels from maschine into you required DAW. Maschine will work in most DAW. Ableton and Studio one being the two most user friendly and campatable to Maschines GUI and workflow I've found. It's obviously not going to link better to Ableton than their own control. That said Ableton have made templates to use with maschine. It's great for flashing out ideas on the fly and jamming as you would with any hardware or instrument.

I would also like to see, how you created the bassline.
I have the basic Replika and not the XT version and I must say its diffusion mode is such a wonderful reverb effect...use it all the time
TOP tutorial... Please more like this for Massive X and other KOMPLETE instruments. Thanks.

@@shambles698 ..-. ..-._ like this.
Low Toms or simple synthesized subbasses, mostly just siness with some minor doistortion to give it some grit
Thanks NI
Great Tutorial!

how do i get that Replika XT delay preset?
Nice, but how about updating the Maschine software and using it in your demos?

Carlos Gatlin I have no problems getting Maschine to synchronize in Logic or Ableton. Maschine was also just updated.

Carlos Gatlin they do it because more people use Ableton than maschine so it appeals to a wider audience
NI tells the Secret Technics :)
Thanks again I appreciate very much your video
