- In this video, Jeremy from @RedMeansRecording dives into the new MASCHINE+ Auto Sampler mode, explaining its many possible applications and demoing it in action by building a track.
Auto Sampler allows you to sample your favorite external and internal instruments with ease. Transform internal sounds while massively saving on CPU, or bring in your own external synths and devices for totally unique sounds. However you choose to use it, the creative sound design possibilities are endless, with weird and wonderful warping at your fingertips.

Just going to throw it out there because I want to see a RMR video about it. This same update added the ability to autoloop any sample. Record your voice. Try to hit a C or whatever, autoloop and then shape with the envelope. Link the pads and you have a 16 voice synth where you're the oscillator. It's so much fun.

Auto Sampler is just a Great Feature… now please more plugins and the possibility to load nks or vst 🔥 when my maschine+ sits next to my akai force it’s always so jealous about their fx 😅
You can use the auto sampler to sample your favorite VSTI plugins.
This is such a great tool for batch sampling. And as always, Jeremy - you've done a great job explaining and demonstrating it.

I'm late to this party but I finally decided to hop onto the sampling bandwagon recently, and I just have to say as someone who has a Maschine+ as well, I am a fan of what all you went over with this. I was going to just do some basic autosampling, but you gave me a ton more to think about.

I've been a long time maschine user, I started with mk1 and never upgraded till the maschine +. I love the workflow but the ability to auto sample just took it to another level for me. The only thing I would ask native instruments to implement to make it perfect to me would be probability or chance the way elektron does it.
Just bought one. I think this box has the potential to be the GOAT of the grooveboxes, save for the CPU Achilles heel. But I'm learning how to minimise stressing it by watching videos like these - and this has blown my mind! I can't wait to start autosampling!!
Also when making a song delete all the sounds you are not using along with the effects connected to those sounds and you can have 16 groups or more going with only 50% cpu usage
The sampler in m+ is great at creating samples that have more than four layers of velocity, unlike the mpc that needs a dirty hack. I dream of a day that the sampler can capture pitch, velocity and round-robins. So greater variations of an instruments can be reproduced, i.e. acoustic ones, or synths with random modulations.
This seems quite a bit more sophisticated than the auto-sampling in MPC software. Excited to try this.
Thank you for auto sampler and that I can use it on my maschine MK3. It's a great feature to create/ "patches" or freeze sounds from analog Synthesizer on which you can't save sound patches.

I don't have Maschine anymore but was curious about Jeremy's video. I have one piece of feedback for this feature - show the amount of samples it will generate BEFORE pressing Start! If you accidentally have something set incorrectly, you should be able to catch it before kicking off the process.

Auto sampling is a smart way to save CPU and still be able to play multiple instruments on Mashine. Plus the ability to add Mashine FX over the samples too.
But instead of actually playing the instrument and then sampling it, can it do signal processing and auto sample? Because it takes 10+ mins to sample and I see room for improvement there.
This is a game changer! I'm curious about the size that autosampled instruments take. The synth probably less but the piano must be a few gb. Could somebody tell from their experience?

how well do custom reaktor instruments/ensemble run on it? i've seen on a couple forums some ppl were having issues, some others not.. how is it now?
There should be a way to adjust the file naming so you can import into Kontakt easily. I can’t believe this wasn’t made easy.
Hi, Jeremy and NI,
I’m planning to make the Maschine Mk3 the centre of my production workflow. Here’s my question. I want one device (maybe the Erica synths fusion box) with some analogue effects, a filter, gain, delay to pair with it.
Can I use the internal synth engines from NI, route the audio out, through those effects and re sample the effected audio as an auto sampled new instrument?
So I could create a library of instruments with that analogue goodness baked in.
And then is there a way to route just one group to outboard gear so I can use the analogue filter on that sound (without effecting the whole track) like an effects loop assignable to a specific group essentially.

For the final piece of music, cast that to your the tv, and wear headphones if you don’t have a stonking sound-system.

I have some old 32bit vst's than won't launch on Maschine ,can I just samples my favourite presets while running the 32bits plugins in standalone mode?

When I sample a midi instrument I get a short gap at the beginning of each sample. "Delete Silence" option does nothing. Truncating the samples is a long tedious process.
Any thoughts?
How do I load up one of these saved auto sampled instruments?
I'm eager to buy a Maschine +, but it stops me to see the constant crashing complaints by other users. I would like to know if you guys will release more game-changing updates in the near future. In this regard, I can see what AKAI does on MPC and Force, and I would really like to see you do something similar, especially considering that, in terms of hardware and specifications (CPU, RAM, ROM), Maschine + is much better than MPC One/Live or Force, but I don't see that reflecting on the workflow and performance of the device. Please consider giving some sign of life.

8:20 that right there is what keeps me from selling mine. Sound design is so quick with this thing, nothing else matches it. Including Ableton with a keyboard and mouse, which is quite fast already!
can auto sampler , auto record a bank of sounds with auto program change before every subsequent patch in a bank.
What is the difference between sampling and auto sampling? It is not very clear to me

Why did you guys abandon the Plus? Why is selling recycled sample packs and changing your logo to “AI” more important than what your user base has been asking for years, or just completely abandoning your flagship product?
Give me this machine with keys, a little more power and full NI instrument support + easier operation and I'll buy this workstation immediately.
Maschine Mk3 and a Komplete Kontrol M32, along with Logic Pro on my used 2015 MacBook Pro has been more than enough for me.
It's a powerful feature, sampling mono hardware or limited poly synths, but other than that, why would you want machine+ over another sampler/daw when 1 plugin makes you hit 32% of the CPU, just curious?
Sounds can be also ennemies,,, but be quiets... on fast mode audible. Avec une telle machine, je vous en bricolerais belles séances, aussi, mais c'est pas forcément une offre d'embauche... même que...
