Was probably the most packed ive seen the hydro. We ended up arriving just as they were starting, and was surprised to see the crowd pretty much right to the door. Usually theres quite a bit of open space towards the back.
Magic gig, I'll never understand people filming on their phones but this gig wasn't too bad once it got going. Awesome to see such a varied age of fans, 10-65 I'd say. I even paid £40 (criminal!) for a tee which I've never done!
Was at the Leeds show on saturday and i have to say it was my first knot concert and it was the best performance ive ever seen from any band the intro was similar and i still get chills listening to it now!
nearly 100 quid a ticket, and so many of them just sitting filming on their phone :( Get the cargo shorts on, the black band t's and bring a gum shield ffs. Miss the old atmosphere at gigs like this!
Camera phones and social media ended intense gigs. God I'm glad I saw all these big shows 15 years ago... I saw people leaving the crowd crying in Manchester after two songs, and I'm stood there waiting for the crowd to start moving 🤦♂️
@steve-vx3lx it's sad that people will never experience the types of shows I went to as a teenager, crowds for slipknot and slayer were the wildest, and the pits were brutal!! Too many phones, not enough fucking shit up! First slipknot gig was in 2002, I was 13, got my iowa booklet signed by the whole band at virgin megastore then into possibly the most insane gig I've ever been to to date, this crowd looks lame as fuck
Fuck me. Slipknot gigs in 1999-2002 there would have been 600 people on the deck, 20 seconds in. Now there's 600 people with there camera phones in the air clinging onto them for dear life!! Put them away and enjoy the gig for what it is!!!!
Just noticed this comment, 100% what I just said to the mrs. Crowd is so tame compared to what it would have been 20 year ago. I sound like an old crabbit man haha but I used to love getting right in amongst it. Even pits now are tame.

I'll agree the majority of gigs now are quieter (we're older 😂) but this is literally the start of the show and it got mental. Were you there?
@@doricdave mmmmmmmmmm. It picked up, not mental. Pre-phones was mental. Now everyone needs their videos for tiktok!
@traderproducer923 my guy, this video clearly shows people in the standing area, on their phones.
Was there😊
Slipknot should ban phones.
Lots of love from Scotland 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴❤❤
Was there, don't remember a thing! 🤣
😂😂nothing worse!
too bad, it was a good show. I guess you got drunk or took shite
What was the setlist?
As a Scot, The hwfg chants are so over done at this point.
As a non scot I need to ask hwfg?
@ The crowd (mostly the younger ones) chant here we f*cking go in the middle of each song at literally any artists gig that comes here.
Away yi go ya walloper lol.

Happy to report I didn’t take my phone out once. People can’t just live in the moment anymore.

I’m sure it sounded good being there but this recording sounds awful 😬
Just noise
Hopefully they do a silent disco soon
Nu metal crap. Slayer do this a million times better,no masks,no gimmicks.....this is music for 14 years old's,..pathetic.
Ye don't like Ye don't go
If you don't like it, just don't go, you're not needed
