Dogs Rescued from NC Puppy Mill Cruelty

- The Humane Society of the United States joins the Jones County Sheriff's Office and SPCA of Wake County in the rescue of more than 80 dogs from a puppy mill in North Carolina. They will now get the medical attention and care they deserve.

It's a blessing that you guys were able to get them all saved. When did we as humans decide that these are the dogs who should be breed to fit standards of the breeds they represent. I thought the idea was to make dogs better, healthier and well tempered. Now anyone can buy two dogs and make a litter without consideration if that is a good idea. The dogs suffer, the puppies suffer and the person who has no clue suffers when they buy. No store should be legally allowed to sell animals.

One year ago I rescued a little chihuahua, He was running in a parking lot and almost got hit by a car. Now he lives with me and my family we named him Toby.
Who else remembers Billy that dog in the beginning. When he died I cried my eyes out. Billy was such a sweet cute puppy. I love you humane society for everything you do. I'm going to join yall when I'm older :)

I think the person misunderstands the like and dislike button. Perhaps he or she chose dislike because he or she did not like the conditions and neglect these animals were living in and therefore clicked dislike. Of course I would hope NO one would dislike the fact that these poor babies were saved from their hell on earth and given the care and love they so desired and deserve!

WTG people. One of those dogs looked so much line my chap they could have been twins. Great job, keep up the good work. Theres many dogs out there praying for your help to get out of these horrid puppy farms and the like.
im so happy there an group of lovely people who care for dogs that live in puppies mills no dogs derserve to live in an cage full of there mess and no water or food well done :-), some puppies gave the people kisses and so happy to be rescued

This year will mark the year that she has lived OUTSIDE of the puppy mill longer than she was inside. She was part of a 200 dog seizure in Canada. She is now my service dog. We have worked with amazing dog behaviorists to help her become who she was meant to be.

Only people can put an end to this cruelty by boycotting the pet shops. People should do what they did in the old days and that is when someone's dog or cat had a litter they gave them away to others for free.People should stop buying from anyone who demands a payment for his litter.Also people should give their unwanted litters to voluntary animal care organisations like the spca who can then put them up for adoption for free or for a small fee to cover expenses..

if people who are part of these puppy mills ever went through what they are putting the dogs through,they would probably commit suicide by now.It's horrible animal cruelty and people should be punished the same way they hurt the animals.
