- Animal Rescue Corps spent the month of July, 2012 on the ground in Tennessee in back-to-back rescues saving the lives of nearly 200 animals. This short film by Brian Wilson documents the collaborative efforts, volunteers and partners that made these rescues possible, as well as the process from the first day until well after the last, as animals enter their new lives and loving families.

Yes! Animal rescuers also “burn out” sooner or later. The work never ends, there aren’t enough people to help in this situation, and the suffering of the animals eventually takes its toll. There just so much their hearts can bear…..they cry and mourn the ones that couldn’t be saved.
I love the before and after rescue pictures. What a difference in these animal's lives thanks to the hard work of the volunteers. God bless them!

Thank God Animal Rescue Corps didn't allow that miserable hoarder to keep the three dogs, donkey and goat that she requested. These people are true heroes. Blessings to each one of you.

I just finished watching your video of the rescue in TN, during the month of July 2012. I can't believe the horrible conditions those poor animals had to endure until you came to their rescue. Thank God you did, no animal deserves this. Thank you for all the lives you saved that day and in the future.

Poor animals! How sad that what something that probably started out of a love of animals devolved into sickness and deplorable conditions for these poor souls. I hope the person who suffered this psychological illness finds the help help he/she needs, but especially that these sweet animals find love and forever homes!!! GOD BLESS THE ARC and the wonderful work they do!!! Both of my crazy kittens are rescue cats, and I wouldn't trade them for the world!!! ADOPT DON'T BUY!!!!

It's a shame these animals had to live like this but I personally want to thank each and everyone of the volunteers and individuals who rescued them. This was an amazing rescue that saved so many of the animals from suffering any longer. Thank you so much for sharing it as well.

Poor puppies. My cat was a shelter pet. I call him my soul cat. The SPCA had found him as a stray. He really is an awesome animal. He even has his own fb page now! I tell everyone to get a shelter pet. I've went through some tough times. He always knows when I'm upset. So he lays on his back to expose his round belly. It's so hard to see videos like this. I only hope that those puppies are in loving homes now. The next shelter pet I get will be a pup =)
