I've been a Zildjian player for over 30 years now, and I'm starting to see why he switched over to Meinel
Because they have good video editing skills and microphones?
@@gamhacked maybe.. maybe not. But if you don't like them then that's good for you
@@lrizo3841 I didn't say one or the other is good or bad. Can you elaborate what about this video makes you make your original comment?
Beautiful touch and dynamics full of intention. Total control.
It's good to see him growing up in exposition. I knew him on Instagram back in 2016, and now I'm happy he is getting the recognition he deserves
Finally a drum video with a cool chill groove! Loved it! Nice smooth fills.
That double snare groove man..insane! Man this song really travels in all types of direction. Absolutely amazing craftsmanship!
Talk about making the cymbals sound and speak!!! Man this guy can really play and groove those cymbals, none of that same hitting almost everybody else does
Outrageous!!!
I love the space in this player's style!
Can not wait to buy one of these sand rides someday, had it on my wishlist for a while and every time I see it in a video it gets me excited.
Unfamiliar with Justin Scott as well and this was awesome, great video.
That was tasty!
Everything sounds sooo good.
Clean asf!
kit looks so inviting! Thx for sharing
love this guy’s setup and playing
Loves Justin’s style and his flow is so smooth 🔥🥁
One of my fav to date. Great stuff J Scott!
Great chops. Excellent video as always.
One of my new favorite drummers!
Can we take a moment and appreciate how phenomenal the whole piece was. Fantastic!!
Love it 👌just perfect
Amazing sounds
Awesome to see JS on here, beast
So good 🔥
Meinl cymbals are amazing sounding! Them and Sabian are my 2 favorites. Great dummer too loved it!
I had mad stank face this whole song. My coworkers probably think I'm insane.
Vibin in the the atmosphere man
Colourful fresh very nice!
Very nice!
I recently found out about Justin and I've got to say--I'm impressed! Great flow, as others have noted.
that 10" tom sounds huge!!
Smooth
Masterful rudiments
This is how I want to play when I grow up.
Boss🎉
I like his purple felts
Seriously, where the hell was I when the drumming talent was distributed. How are people so good?
Scott and Navene Koperweis are the best!
Lookit him go!
❤
Have to know what snare that is!!
Cool song and great playing. Where can recordings of Naughty Panda be found?
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷...😉👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Amazing playing - anyone know what that snare drum is? sounds incredible!
Tama Starphonic Maple. Looks like a 7”x13”.
@@si1995gtnupe1997 I thought that, but this looks way deeper than 7"
that snare....... so yummy
Is this on Spotify? I can’t find it but I need it
Sounds like Benny Greb mixed with Jost Nickels
Was thinking the same!!
what Tama Drumset is it? Looks like a Bubinga but which one exactly? Pls let me know, thanks! :)
Excellent playing...
The kit sounds nice - but the overtone of the snare is not my favorite sound...I'm used to hearing that overtone on Bruford's kit (e.g., "Fragile" album)...
As for the snare sound, the extra deep snare shell may be a contributor... I used to have a 6" chrome snare - which in retrospect was a mistake (I ended up muffling the metallic overtone by lining the shell with carpet foam)...
Also - and perhaps the shell depth is again a contributor - the snare is somewhat too prominent in the mix for me...
But, again, excellent playing...
Good grief, chill Winston.

I believe that my critique was balanced and reasonable...but we can agree to disagree...blessings🙂
Whats that snare?
Greb vibes all over
Everything sounded great except the snare. Something is definitely not right with it. Sounds tuned too high.
