- A short clip of drumming footage from a Pink Floyd live rockumentary style tribute show entitled "Which One's Pink?" performed by the Shadowbox Live theater company. All of this show was performed live and all of the sounds have been recreated with accuracy to satisfy the most die hard Floyd fan. "Dark Side of the Moon" is performed in its entirety with live actors reenacting the correlation between the album and "The Wizard of Oz" as well as video screens and surround sound mix, making this a fun experience for the audience. This show was performed live with over 6,000 people in attendance.

Thank you very much! It's both fun and a challenge to play the way he originally played it!

Very cool! This is one of the best Pink Floyd songs and of course those toms at the beginning are epic! Subscribed
Rich Raw Dawg drums Thanks so much Rich! I really appreciate it! 👍🏻
That entire performance was awesome. I saw it outdoors at the Columbus Commons, and indoors at the Shadowbox Live venue, which is smaller/more intimate. The group has a ton of talent, they also nailed The Great Gig in the Sky, which is not an easy vocal accomplishment.
Thanks for the kind words! 🙂👍🏻 Glad you enjoyed the show!

" Now That's What I'm Talking About "
Have you set up a RotoTom full kit?
That would be so awesome but no, I only have 6"-14". Still working on getting a 16" and an 18" but those larger sizes tend to be pricey 😁
OMG
Thank you!! 😁👍🏻
Just f*** wow.
Hell yeah, thanks alot!
Nice man. I’m working with a Floyd tribute now and I need to get some roto toms going for this tune. How many actual Toms did nick use on the album? I’m thinking I could get it done with 6 of them
Thanks Bryan! Six rotos would work just fine. I used eight here since I was able to snag a 12" and a 14". Nick did three takes with a standard set of three. The three changes happen with the three main chord changes during the intro if that makes sense. He incorporates larger size roto toms for live which is improvised and sounds nothing like the album lol I try to play close to the album since that's what most people are used to hearing.
Brandon Smith I have a 6 and a 10, the 8 is missing the middle ring piece.. but I’m picking another 6 and another 10 with track up this weekend.. I’ve have a line on another set of three for cheap and my local drum shop has a 10 and 12” set on a rail so this could turn into a roto addiction soon.. hehe
And how did you mount yours?
I used those horizontal bars which are a little difficult to use. Especially while trying to line up three of them.
Brandon Smith yeah I don’t prefer those bars. They always just looked funny, but even worse, made placement tough. That’s part of why I never used rotos on my kits.. (that and they need to be miced or else you can’t hear them)
What mics are you using?
I think they were Shure condenser mics either behind or above the roto toms on that side of the kit. 🙂👍🏻
"Needs more Cowbell" Lol : D
Just kidding, maybe a bit more Reverb ? Sounds great man !!! : )
Thanks Brandon !! : D
Lol! Agreed! For me the reverb got better as it went along. Thanks for checking it out Ronnie!
@@brandonplaysdrum That's great !! Hey we all Love Pink Floyd and Prog ! : )
...and bass. Basically the wrong mic(s) were used, but it's a live recording so what ever... The story goes that when Mason recorded "Time", he had never seen or played roto-toms before. They were the little plastic practice pad type, not the snazzy aluminum ones we have these days. But that was back in the 1970s, So the wonder and spontaneity of the original recording will always be missing from any performance. IMHO
a gdzie reszta??
Here's the uncut performance 👍🏻

De l improvisation par rapport à l original mais ça passe tres bien ,,,,
Thank you so much!! 😁
Drums are great, but tell the guitarist he needs more delay and reverb on that dry-ass tone
Thanks!! Haha! 🤣 thanks for the tip, I'll tell him LionOfNaples says fix it 😁👍🏻
