hi ive been looking around houses in the walnut and diamond area cause arcadia had no new modern housing or big lot sizes in my budget. i'm not a native californian, grew up in boston so i dont know the " inside story" of why these areas are not considered very attractive buys as compared to pasadena, arcadia etc...is the proximity to chino which is considered a bad buy or the southern areas? as im an outsider i really dont know what the safe and posh areas of san gabriel are...and the not so safe or middle income areas. My research shows walnut as a good buy but native asian residents (some who are relatives) around all dissuade. could you do a high income, middle income and lower income grouping of san gab valley? also another question..sorry.. if looking outside san gab valley and in the actual " valley"...is calabasas a better buy or la canada? thanks and sorry for the long rambling. I'm just really confused as im in the starting research journey of buying a house in southern cali and have no native insights.
