I bought this exact same engine, got it in January 2021. Running it on my Lund wc-16. Nothing but great things to say about it. Runs like a beast. Always starts first or second pull. Gets 13-14 mpg. Boat tops out at 29 mph. Not had one issue with it. Changed oil this Summer, probably got about 75 hours on it.
Very very annoying music please talk about the motor that's what we are here for. Have to keep playing with volume because of the music , video is ruined. But love the motor and want to get one. Sorry to say that the music made me nauseous. Update, i got the motor.
Can you trim your F25 both up and down while running? I ask because my Honda BF20 trims down while running but not up. Thanks…enjoy all of your videos!
Hi Ronald, sadly no I bought the manual trim version. Can only trim once fully stopped. A year on I wish I had spent the extra dollars and bought the auto trim as it would of solved all my boat trim issues.
Do you know if the power trim models have a "shallow water drive" feature that lets the motor kick up if you hit an underwater object? Every power trim motor I've used didn't kick up. I have an older F15 manual trim that does kick up. I'm thinking of upgrading to a 25 with electric start and power trim, but I don't want power trim if it doesn't kick up because water levels fluctuate a lot where I fish and there are lots of obstructions that move around quite a bit. Thank you for any info !
Any outboard that hasn’t got a flush port should be flushed when it is warm to ensure the entire cooling loop is cleaned not just outside the thermostat

Nice… really considering buying a yamaha this season,,,, upgrade to a 4 stroke 25hp,, put away my good old 2 stroke mercury 25 lol..

I just bought one not impressed with the vibration and the noise it makes but I have just downsized from the f50 which is a beautiful engine
If you want smooth 25/30hp, check out the Suzuki 999cc 3 cyl outboard. It’s a rippa!
