This is definitely a no expense spared setup! I like the idea of the buttkicker.

Pretty much went all in lol. I wanted some sort of home cockpit ever since I was a kid - although at that time I wanted a 737 lol. Doing IRL flying I felt more value out of building something that can run all the avionics I fly in the real world, which is nice because the G1000's in the home sim sort of make it plug and play for anything that has a G1000. Airliners and stuff I just use the home sim but in VR. The buttkicker was probably the only impulse purchase which I was super surprised at!

I sure wish he would give some of us a detailed explanation on how to program the switches I see he has with go flight .

Wasn't the goal of this video but I could put something together going in to detail.

Fantastic setup. I always wondered how the the Brunner yoke and buttkicker work together? As I understend they both simulate vibrations from different sources in the sim, are in sync when you change RPM for example or land?

Thanks! They work together but independently if that makes sense. The brunner yoke has its own software which controls the feedback to the yoke. The buttkicker I use the software "Simshaker for aviators" which connects to the sim API vs using sound to generate the feedback. Its a night and day difference as it generates the proper tactile feedback (all customizable) for the phase of flight. Feel flaps and g load ect is pretty wild. I actually keep the yoke engine vibrations down or turned off depending on the aircraft, but engine vibrations on the butt kicker is pretty awesome!

Hi Chris, Thank you for your videos. Just a quick request. Where can I get the headset panel? Thanks

I really need to learn more about spad.next. Seems a bit overwhelming to me. Im a hands on hardware kind of guy, so software just seems to stumble me. Im using multiple Stream Decks for most of my push button functions (utilizing their software)have one FIP for chrono (spad), and a toggle switch panel (mobiflight), then thrustmaster airbus and boeing (MSFS). So I would like to move the switch panel and controller onto spad, but not sure exactly how to go about doing this. Ive purchased spad, but it just seems complicated

It's got a bit of a learning curve but I promise you once you get comfortable with it I can't use either sim (XP or MSFS) without it. There's not much it can't do. I even have it control my philips hue lights!

@@av8rchris ….. how would you suggest I start? Ive purchased it, and immediately felt overwhelmed and haven’t done anything with it.
